“Been going her for about 30 years. Love the grilled chicken salad and original coney.Quick service. Was planning to eat in but the staff were having personal conversations with language I didn’t want in my eating environment, especially with my mom and young daughters.“
“Perfect! Diner experience- tables turn quick even when it's extremely busy. Food is about as good as you can possibly get in a diner which is awesome. Service is fast. Portions are large and prices are on par. The potato cake is far and away our favorite couple of that with sausage, gravy and biscuits and a side of bacon. Most unhealthy but most delicious breakfast. You can get. Every time we're in town this is our stop for breakfast“
“I passed The Hut a few months ago & have been wanting to try it. Well, today was the day. I was a little surprised to see the parking lot fairly full on a rainy Friday, but once I went inside, I saw why. Yes, the place is a little worn down, with tape patching the booths. But I think it's because they are busy and have a lot of customers, so they don't have a lot of time to spend on decor -- although, there are signs and photos scattered throughout the restaurant to look at. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. I've never been there before, but I was treated just as nicely as the numerous regulars who were there. It is apparent that the young women who are the servers truly enjoy their job, their customers and each other -- and I made sure to mention it to them as I left. On to the food. Traditional diner fare, which I love. I got the slider special, expecting 1) just one burger and 2) that it would be small. Nope, these were good sized burgers, and I could only eat one. I chose onion rings (which I almost always prefer to fries -- getting in the veggies, ya know ;) ) and, as others have said, they were REALLY good. I also mentioned THAT to the server, and she said they are hand battered. I left feeling like, well, I'd been given a warm hug on a chilly day. I will be adding The Hut to my rotation of restaurants.“
“Staff was friendly, and the waitress was nice and the food was amazing. No long wait time. My teenage daughter was unhappy with the choice that she made and the waitress seen the disappointment on her face. It wasn't big enough or didnt look fulfilling, so the waitress asked her if she would like something else and of course she did ( smh teenagers) she came right out and she was happy that was very kind of her of you ask me. No charge for the other dish which made my wallet happy too. Overall great place to eat and kid friendly.Kid-friendliness: They are very accommodating when it comes to the children little juice boxes cups with lids and when available crayons and coloring sheets. Understanding when it comes to the little ones being picky when dining out.“
“Nicks restaurant is a fine establishment. From their early bird specials to their daily specials, you can't find a better place to enjoy a meal. Delicious food and wonderful service makes for relaxed down home cooked meal. You can always get a carryout if you don't want to eat out. Nick is the nicest guy you ever want to meet and he cares about his customers. If you want a good meal at a reasonable price, try Nick's restaurant. I can't say enough good things about Nick's. Please try a Mexican omelet which has chili on it. Wow!!!“
“Used to go there to have Polish Platter. the food is always good except the bread that comes with soup. the place is always full of people. I love their stuffed cabbage and pierogi. Portion is good and the staffs are so friendly. But don't try just regular american breakfast or french toast here, you are at the polish specialty place.“
“Everyone is southwest knows this is the spot for breakfast. They have limited hours for a reason! This spot always has people and the turn around is so quick! You order to go or you dine in you will not be disappointed! The food is great. The time for turnaround is great. They have great breakfast food. There is plenty of seating inside and parking is not an issue at all. The location is great not too far from the highway east to get to. You can go in with large families and have a big booth seating to accommodate all of y'all. Or go in alone and still feel welcomed.“
“I enjoyed my breakfast. I had a biscuit topped with sausage patty, poached eggs and sausage gravy on the side. Came with American fries and I got a coffee. My server was kind and speedy. The food was a nice portion, arrived hot, and tasted great. The restaurant is run down inside. While clean and well managed, it all needs a re-imagining. Carpet, booths, tables and chairs straight out of 80's casting. Never mind though, it's a good breakfast!“
“We stumbled upon the Cozy Cabin while exploring Warren, and it quickly became our favorite family restaurant. The rustic decor and friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the menu offered a variety of comfort foods that satisfied everyone's cravings. It's definitely a place we'll be visiting again!“
“I come here pretty often with a group of friends and the staff are always super nice, accommodating and on top of things, and the value is amazing! You get SO much food for what you pay and I haven't had a bad dish here yet. I love their patty melt and was pleasantly surprised by their little chicken wing side. Breakfast and desserts are great too! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid meal at a comfy, friendly place.“
“When I Say This Was The Best Bacon Cheeseburger I’ve Had In A Long Time It Was Packed With Soooo Much Flavor Then We Ordered A Club Sandwich My Bf Said It Was The Best He's Ever Had & Well Worth It & I Received It Via Doordash The Presentation Speaks Volumes Gordon Ramsey Would Be Proud lol Thank You So Much For Making My First Experience Excellent Will Be A Return Customer 5 Stars Isn’t Enough I’m Going To Have To Give It A Solid 10 stars “
“Excellent food very fair prices and very courteous and friendly wait staff. Highly recommended nice prices. Stuffed French toast with strawberries and blueberries was wonderful. My wife had the breakfast bowl which was huge we took half home and ate it the next “
“A family style restaurant, with home-style cooking like we used to get at home. We shop in this area and stop by for lunch. Good sandwiches! Recently, we've stopped for dinner. I'm very fond of their stuffed cabbages. Love them, in fact. Reasonable prices for what you get. I have come to recognize restaurants as a service and contributor to their community. This one does a good job of that.Parking: By the side door.“
“I love this place the food is so good and girls that are the waitress are very friendlyParking: They have a small parking lot but if it's full no worries you can always park in the side streetKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome it is totally friendly“
“The drinks were great food came out fast and was hot and fresh. The service was great. There is a front and back section behind the bar, regular restaurant set up with booths and tables. Very nice quiet place. I ordered the caramel apple mimosa which was delicious . The farmers omelette that came with hashbrowns inside the omelet and three pancakes on the side. Everything was great 10/10 would visit again if I'm the area“
“I found this restaurant while waiting for family to finish playing at Dave and Busters. Fantastic restaurant!! Food was fabulous!!! Livonia residents need to patronize this local gem, instead of a chain restaurant. I am from Rockwood, and I will drive back to dine here again. It’s that good!!! No complaints only complements.Parking: Park right in front, and walk in to enjoy a fabulous meal.Kid-friendliness: Nice environment for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: No curbs. No steps. The food is fantastic.“
“5stars!!!! Michelle Heather Linda Sofia Monwella Always a nice experience all the waitresses are extremely nice and professional Michelle Heather Linda Sofia Food is great for the Price give u plenty of food.. been going there 7 years and never had a bad experience!!! Doll Thompson“
“Little cramped inside on a busy Sunday. Nothing but positive vibes and dope food. Affordable prices for family style Coney Island type food and vibes. My go to is chicken wings and fries dinner with pita breadFamily got the French toast with hash brownsEggs BenedictAnd Mickey Mouse pancakesDefinitely will be back if I’m in the area, I believe sister location to the Farmington hills spot“
“Great cafe! Good food and excellent customer service. I was able to order online and communicate with someone regarding pickup. They helped me by preparing my order for my arrival. I was very pleased during my visit to Detroit. I will be back!!!!“
“A pretty decent diner seemingly stuck in the middle of a restaurant/ fast food void on Grand River. The grilled ham and cheese sandwich was the best that I've ever had. Who would have thought that you could have a stacked ham and cheese with mayo, lettuce and tomato, coupled with a huge portion of pickles for only $7.95? I'm in awe and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!“
“Although I now reside in Arizona, Michigan is home for me, but I've never visited this restaurant. I would always go to Canton L' George Coney Island. No to go there anymore. I visited this restaurant Tuesday Dec 19, 2023 and have not stop talking about the food, the service (Carol, just beautiful, she reads the table very well, she knows her customers even if it's your first time there [had to give her a 25% tip]), the taste and the quantity. Imagine, when you get a lot of food and it's just bland, that's not Telegraph Grill Family Dining at least not this location. The food was amazing. I had the Chicken Skillet, eggs over medium, it's hashbrowns with onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, I added spinach, pepperjack cheese and a Belgian Waffle. My daughter had Strawberry & Banana French Toast, Son-in Law had Chicken Pita Wrap, Mom had regular sausage, eggs, pancakes, toast. When I say the photos does no justice, you must try it for yourself.“
“I haven't been to this one in quite a while, but I remember the food was very good and it's been at least 2 years. So I went today and met my son who I meet every Saturday. I ordered the spinach feta scramble which comes with toast and choices of a side and I chose pancakes and I'm mad at myself. I didn't take a picture because it was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Every ingredient was so fresh the spinach was beautiful the feta they could've put a little more in, but it was wonderful. The service was wonderful . We go to a lot of different restaurants. The ambiance was OK... I highly recommend this one to everyone. Enjoy.!!!“
“Came here after a volunteer event in Oak Park and was looking to grab a quick lunch. Tried this place after a Google search and it was the perfect place. Food and service were great. They had daily specials which were nice too. I would definitely eat here again.“
“The pink Greek dressing is The Best! Service here is great, friendly, and fast. The menu is big but not too overwhelming, giving you a lot of options, the meatloaf is great. Home style meals made well.Kid-friendliness: Is a nice family restaurant atmosphere.“
“Visiting from Miami it's important to stop at Big boy my Michigan staple. Have to say this particular location was on top of it, manager visited the table even though he was cooking in the kitchen. Two servers checked on how we were doing which is very uncommon these days. Great job with hospitality. My only comment would be is for those tables sitting right outside your expo window calling for your servers by name with the order up, could probably be done more professionally with a bell that got dinged to let them know orders are ready to be run... Just saying from one hospitality person to another... ?“
“My octogenarian father's favorite restaurant. Consistently well prepared. Like a home cooked meal. Seems pricy to me but then again you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is right out of a Seinfeld episode. We will certainly be back again for more.“
“The food was pretty good, just what you would expect. Service was fast, and our server was excellent. People in our party have special needs, and our server was very patient and helpful. Everyone enjoyed the food. I would have no problem returning.“
“Little Daddy’s is not just a Greek place. They have such a diverse menu beginning with sweet potato pancakes, to rib tips, to cherry grilled salmon, to opa, burgers, avocado toast w/eggs, and of course Greek salad, coneys and gyros. They do a beautiful catering spread too! They make everything yummy! Gotta try any of their 3 locations..Bloomfield Hills, Southfield or Taylor (we were pleasantly surprised to see Little Daddys on the exit sign on the way to Indy!).“
“Maple leaf is a staple for my boyfriend and I. I'm a sucker for a good diner and this one is at the top of my list. Exceptional food and reasonable prices combined with a terrific wait staff makes this place a true joy each and every visit. P.S. they also have fantastic ranch.“
“I tried this out today looking for a tasty breakfast. I was trying to avoid the fast food breakfast spots and found this gem in the area. The waitress was extremely friendly and approachable. I ordered the two eggs, toast, bacon, and a cup of coffee. The food is delicious and it filled me up! Everything cooked fresh and right in front of you. Plus, it was a very good price!I had a really great experience overall and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who really wants great food and customer service! We don't see it as much anymore so take advantage of what is left out there.“
