Took mom here for our first time and tried chicken pieces, strips, cod, hush puppies, fries, Mac & cheese and biscuits. Very good overall. The Mac & cheese was perhaps the best from a restaurant and hush puppies were great. Cod was so-so. The guy who took order was friendly, made suggestions and answered questions. He has to be employee of the month. Excellent experience.
Love Captain Jay's each time I have been there,it has taken a bit to get my order thru the drive thru. But each time the food is just as good if not better than the time before.

The service and person I seen in the drive thru was amazing and super friendly. I do love the food. I usually go to the location in Taylor and this is my first time here , unfortunately the chicken was so undercooked it was still bloody. I popped it in the air fryer for about 10 minutes and it came out perfectly though. The shrimp was really good though !
