“Took mom here for our first time and tried chicken pieces, strips, cod, hush puppies, fries, Mac & cheese and biscuits. Very good overall. The Mac & cheese was perhaps the best from a restaurant and hush puppies were great. Cod was so-so. The guy who took order was friendly, made suggestions and answered questions. He has to be employee of the month. Excellent experience.“

“Have been looking for a good halal fried chicken place and am sooooo happy to have found this one. We ordered from here for the first time for a birthday party and received endless compliments on how good the food was. The chicken was crispy and the breaded shrimp was a hit. 10/10. “Finally!!!!! My first time trying this place yesterday. Been looking for a place that knows how to fry real fish and has variety of fish a lot of places don't serve. Ordered the bake salmon, it was amazing. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. This my new favorite place as I love my seafood. Can't wait to try something different next time.“

“Great music. Great vibes. Great menu. Great prices. Great staff. Owner introduced himself and made us feel very welcome. This was my partner's 1st time out since Covid started in Dec 2019 and our 1st time back here since the new owner took over. We were both happy and impressed with the changes. Losing the center and front booths really opened it up and makes it way less claustrophobic feeling. Music was good and people were coming in. The burger I ordered was perfectly burnt around the edges and juicy. The waffle fries are delicious. He got the haddock with okra. Flaky, flavorful and crunchy fried, 2 large pieces and the tartar sauce was creamy and good. Okra was fresh and tasty. Can't wait to return. Wish I'd caught the owner's name. He was very kind. The waitress was wonderful as well.“

“I've eaten here many times and have never had a bad experience. Really good food and fresh ingredients. Staff is really friendly and the price is right! I usually dine in but I've done take out too. Nice little family friendly atmosphere.“

“The Best Middle Eastern food in Michigan The meat is tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. Had the Chicken Shawarma, chicken soup and some hummus. Best soup and sandwich. “This place is the one place in the universe in downriver that has gizzards and liver and good ones at that. I personally do not eat them but my in-laws from the south love them! I drove all the way from Flat Rock to here. It's a small little place very small indeed they have a glass case for fresh fish and shrimp. A great sale on shrimp too! What a great find thank you guys so much. You do wait a second maybe about 20 minutes or so while they cook everything for you but at least you know it is fresh! “Excellent variety of seafood. I love the deep fried cod, very nice size portion of fish. The okra is definitely notable, You must try the lemon pepper seasoning. Is excellent location easy in and easy out. Is chicken tenders and chicken also available.“
