“Just finished a wonderful Middle Eastern Family Dinner ordered from Beirut Gardens! We had a great variety of food fit for vegaterians and meat eaters. Everyone goes away happy, the food was top shelf and very plentiful. Thank you Beriut Garadens for a wonderful Easter “
“We wanted to check out a place without looking at reviews or doing any research and we chose Alex's. Even with two toddlers, everyone was very accommodating and polite, always making sure plates were set where little hands can't throw them, taking away things as we needed, and giving us extra garlic and pita multiple times without even needing to be asked. The service was above top notch and the food was amazing. Definitely will be returning!Parking: Roughly 15 spots plus other parking lots near by.Kid-friendliness: Staff was very accommodating towards the littles we brought.“
“Delightful service, delicious food, and vegetarian friendly. Ali takes so much pride in being welcoming and making sure the meal is the star of the experience. Don't leave without trying the lentil soup, the falafel, and the teaVegetarian options: The staff gave information about vegetarian options during service“
“1st time experience! I got invited with coworkers for lunch. I got the shush kabob, lentil soup, and cajin fries. It was absolutely juicy and delicious. Went back for dinner the same day and got the kufta and chicken shrwarma and it was packed with flavor. Sara the host was welcoming, inviting, and kind. The hospitality was like a family oriented vibe. And Chef Hassan is the heart of the kitchen; cooked the food flawlessly. The staff made sure you were satisfied before you left. Definitely going there again! To be open for 25 years shows their loyalty and dedication for their customers. Food was fresh, delicious, and the price was affordable can't beat it.“
“I ordered chicken mendi takeout for a gathering that I had in my house. This has been the best mendi I have tried so far in Michigan. The manager hamzah was very helpful, kind, and reachable, the chef was amazing as well. 10/10, highly recommended. They give you first-class service.“
“I love baba ghanoush with a fiery passion. This place had great baba ghanoush! Delicious lamb falling off the bone. And fantastic shawarma chicken AND beef! Don’t like the looks fool you, this place is rocking. The service was fantastic, all of the staff was incredibly friendly and made extra sure we were satisfied with our food. I WILL be coming back for sure.“
“Cedarland Bakery is a local gem that never fails to impress. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. Unlike many other establishments, Cedarland offers ample seating, making it the perfect spot to enjoy your treats in comfort. Speaking of treats, the bakery goods here are nothing short of divine. Whether you're craving flaky pastries, decadent cakes, or freshly baked bread, Cedarland delivers on all fronts. However, it's the savory options that truly set this bakery apart. The pepperoni roll is an absolute must try, boasting a perfect balance of spicy pepperoni and melt in your mouth dough. Additionally, the meat and cheese selection is a carnivore's dream, featuring high quality ingredients that elevate every bite. What sets Cedarland apart from other bakeries is its unwavering commitment to authenticity. While other establishments may have succumbed to modern trends, Cedarland has remained true to its roots, preserving the timeless recipes and traditions that have made it a beloved local institution. This dedication to authenticity shines through in every aspect of the bakery, from the flavors of the baked goods to the welcoming atmosphere. As someone who values authenticity above all else, I truly admire Cedarland Bakery for staying true to its roots. In a world where so many things are constantly changing, it's refreshing to find a place that offers a taste of tradition with every visit. If you're in search of a bakery that combines exceptional quality with genuine warmth, look no further than Cedarland Bakery.“
“I was in town on Spring Break with my family and we wanted something we normally don't get back at home in Nashville. These folks at the Sahara Restaurant were very welcoming, kind, and respectful. Oh, and they make pretty good food, too!Kafta/Kofte has been my favorite from the Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisines and it was a shame that my beat kafta/kofte place back home went out of business ten years ago. When I saw it on the menu here, I had to order it. This was the best kafta I ever had!“
“Visited from Canada, the food is excellent and full of flavours, I think this is my first time i enjoy Lebanese breakfast since 11 years. They managed to bring the authentic flavours.Everything was great also they provided a complementary Hummus dishThe prices on the higher level but you get what you pay for, if you missed the flavours of the home land this is your place“
“Wow this place was on POINT with its food! I have never tasted this good of tender meat ever! When I went there with my family, we decided to get Fahsah and the Sheba for 4, which is WAY MORE than 4 people can eat. The Fahsah came out piping hot and the meat just melted in your mouth! I couldn’t get enough of it! Then the Sheeba for 4 was a lot of food FOR 5 people! Plan accordingly if you don’t want extra, but the dish was awesome. Their were a mix of lamb and meats, potatoes, and rice. All the meats were hot and tender, and the potatoes were cooked perfectly, And the rice was just on point and brought the whole dish together! The service was AWESOME! The waiters and waitresses were extremely nice and helpful, and were ready to help. The Atmosphere could be better though. The building isn’t being maintained at its best, shown by the hole in the celling. It could be maintained better, but the food makes up for it! Would come again!“
“Came here for lunch and ordered the combo for two with hummus and fattoush salad, as well as jallab for our drink. It was all delicious, and the spices and garnishes in the combo really made it taste special. I'd say it was pretty good value too, given the portions and prices. It was our first time trying Syrian food, and we'd definitely go out of our way to eat it here again!“
“I came here just because of the reviews and it didn’t disappoint! The service is perfect, good atmosphere, the Hummus was the best one I’ve ever had. The waitress Amani is super kind, she will greet you with a beautiful smile! The Chicken with vegetables and rice serves 2 or 3 people. Definitely a place to return!!“
“I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. We came here to break our fast, the line looked pretty long initially but it moved so quickly. The service was fast, friendly, and homey. This hole in the wall had one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had in a while, and the toum and pickles made it a perfect bite. If you're looking for good food with no frills and kind service, you'll find it here :)“
“I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at Aden, and the Zurbiyan dish was an absolute delight. The Zurbiyan dish at Aden's brunch was incredibly tasty and delicious. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left my taste buds dancing with delight.“
“03/02/24: Late review, but nonetheless, came looking for something different and decided to try this place on said date. It has some nice decor and is clean. Waitstaff was attentive and checked in occasionally, despite it being peak hours. Dined in around 8pm. I got in quickly since it was just me, but there can be a bit of a wait as there seemed to be a lot of families(a couple of groups of families were waiting), so be ready if you decide to dine in late afternoon/early evening.Food was fantastic. The starter flatbread with the two garlic aioli(?) sauces(normal + spicy) was hot, fresh, and palatable. Got the Fattoush Salad, the Malek Stir-Fry(chicken), and the Chicken Sajji with a strawberry smoothie. All dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The salad was a bit too vinaigrette-ty for my tastes though. The poultry dishes were savory and the Sajji had that right tinge of heat.“
“It’s the best restaurant to go to with your friends and family hands down .. and all of the employees were very friendly and polite, also There prices are amazing. I would highly recommend people to go and check out this great and amazing restaurant. Number 1 place in all of Michigan ??❤️❤️??“
“Customer service was great! The cheese and zaatar manakeesh weee very big and decent! The fool was very flavorful and feta as well. I wish they made tea fresh instead of the tea bags, but otherwise great food and great customer service! The environment was very spacious as well.“
“Kakouche is amazing always no matter whichever one you choose the pizza one and the sujouk one are my personal favorite. Just make sure you order before 12 because this is a very popular item and the bread runs out fast. No complaints authentic sandwiches and baked items. Tarboush gets 5 stars. Quality ingredients, recipes, and customer service. One of my favorite places in Dearborn.“
“The flavors of the Middle East. It's also great for the European stomach. It's not ostentatious, it's more convincing. Vegetables are captivating, even for carnivores. Lamb or chicken, small or majestic. Only the place is simple, everything else is great. Unmissable if you go there.“
“Attracted to the personality, stayed for the food. Finally eating Shelby's was like a dream come true to my friends and I, we were grateful it was open so late! By the time we finally crossed the border into Canada, we knew we were ready.I tried the traditional shawarma wrap, the Shelby's wrap, the shawarma bowl, and the churros. Shelby's was the first shawarma joint to ever have me order twice in the same night to have some left over. For my foodies who love leftovers, the wrap is still great the morning after and even a few hours after it was made (It was still warm!)The wrap melts in your mouth the moment you bite into it and you can feel all the flavours meld together. The spicy garlic provides the perfect kick that I didn't even need anymore! When paired with pomegranate molasses, it's the perfect blend of savoury.I recommend this to eaters who are looking to upgrade from your traditional lazeez and osmow's, there's so much more love and personality behind the food and the servers. From the cashier, to the cooks, to the founders themselves, they represent the blend of food that touches your tongue. They're passionate, humourous, and consistent with the inside jokes they share with their community. The food may be the main star, but the brand itself tells you how much Shelby's cares about their 'habby peoble'! :) I'm so grateful for the locations in Downtown Toronto, they carry the same flavour and love no matter how far they are from Windsor.Vegetarian options: You can remove the protein and add the Halloumi cheese or falafel, everything is seasoned to perfection so that you can feel like you're not being skimped out! Shelby's cares about all eaters, even if meat isn't the focal point :)Dietary restrictions: Looking for more protein? You can add that! Cutting down on carbs? Get the shawarma bowl! You could add more vegetables. TL;DR, totally customizable to accommodate your dietary needs!Parking: The parking is pretty tight and if you're lucky, you'll catch a spot. It's not so bad once it's past midnight, but keep in mind there are other establishments in the plaza!Kid-friendliness: The portions and customization make the products accessible to all picky eaters! The churros are also a great addition to fulfill a sweet tooth!“
“This is one of my favorite spots in Dearborn. I'm never disappointed. From the egg rolls to the honey fried chicken sandwich to the apple chicken fattoush. Delicious!Vegetarian options: Butcher's Grille is a middle eastern restaurant that offers American styles dishes.“
“Get the lemon oregano chicken kabob... everything is delicious here; fattoush, lentil soup and fresh made juice bar. We just ate here again on 12-24-23 and had shish tawook our favorite, lamb kebob, imjadra, salad and the lamb vegetable soup.... everything was so delicious ?. We come here on the way to our flight and also on the return flight ✈️....Vegetarian options: I get the salad, lentil soup and imjadra dish. They have 3 other dishes to choose from that are also delicious ?I just ate here again on 4-14-24 and it was so good to have a delicious meal before heading to the airport. I also brought some boxes and packed half to eat on the plane ✈️... Great way to eat good food on the flight“
“Highly recommend ? Ordered the shish chicken tawook plate? and the shawarma chicken plate?. The prices were comparable with other restaurants & for the amount of food. The food was absolutely delicious!! You can taste the freshness in the ingredients. The chicken was very tender and moist. Very clean place. The owners and staff were amazing and answered any questions I had. Both the homemade garlic sauce and hummus were the best I've ever tasted and I'm not a big garlic fan. I'll be back..I'm anxious to try the poutine!!“
“Ramadan mubarak! We just had our iftar at this restaurant, and we really enjoyed it. This is our third time in michigan, and we just heard about this Yamani restaurant, so we decided to try it. The food was delicious, and the people there are very nice.. many thanks to Mohmmad ( Iraqi guy) he was very nice and patient ?“
“This was a decent place. Food was good but a bit dry and they use a mix of dark and white meat chicken for their shawarma. We asked for a lot of garlic sauce and they delivered without charging extra which was a plus. Try the loaded shawarma, it’s unique and delicious. This seems to be more of a take out place but they have a small amount of seating. Service was honestly pretty bad but it was the end of the night and was a little annoying that I had to get up and walk over to ask for anything but the tip reflected it.“
“Excellent food, staff, and atmosphere. Pretty good value too considering the high quality of food. My wife and I love to split a full order of deboned chicken with rice. We get at least two meals each out of that. If you're not getting anything that big I'd also recommend either a shawarma (choice of roasted chicken, beef, or lamb), a shish kabob sandwich (choice of grilled beef or lamb), or a shish tawook sandwich (grilled chicken).“
“We ordered the half chicken with rice. The rice had Pico on part of it, black beans and corn. It came with grilled vegetables and two sauces. The chicken had a great flavor and was very moist. It was very delicious, I would recommend it and I would definitely be going back. Also the price was great!“
“This place has been hiding right in front of my face for the longest time and I finally stopped in and got shawarma and the only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't stop here earlier fresh veggies and seasoned to perfection definitely will be returning!“
“Brought family from Indiana to check Dearborn.Being of Lebanese descent, wanted to find an authentic. Got a haircut and barber told me to go there. I loved the place. Everything is made to order. No reheat or microwave. The meat pie more authentic than one In Beirut. So much flavor and excellent spices. The mixed cheese akawi and mozzarella tasted out of this world.Definitely coming back again and again.Made a huge order to go. Hussein and his Dad were super friendly.“
“Cedarland has been our family’s go-to restaurant for Middle Eastern comfort food for nearly 30 years. From amazing lentil soups to fattoush, Kafta, and an impossible-to-beat core menu of shawarma, grape leaves, hummous and tabbouli, Cedarland will make your taste buds happy, fill your appetite and not break your wallet.“
“La Burma and La Roma Damas have the best shawarma, and Al-Makdous deserves all the money. It is better than their restaurant, Your Legs is Madous, and the cleanliness and elegance are brought from Damascus. The tradition and broasted meat you will only find in their delicacies are as beautiful as you can imagine.“
“Tried this restaurant last night. They apologized for the wait because they were very busy and we were told the food would take a little longer. The wait for both was slightly longer, but it so worth the wait. The food was incredible and and plenty of it. I had the chicken mixed with pine nuts, rice with almonds, grilled vegetables and hummus. I don't come from around here but I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.“
“Really good food and you get plenty. Smiling staff and hot and quick service. We drive up from the Toledo area and are always pleased with the food. Hummus is so smooth and fresh. Garlic is on point. Fresh cooked bread and cheese bread is good. Zesty Lamb Gaballah with hummus is so good. Lamb chops are good. No complaints.“
“They are always busy in the morning but if you place an order and give them 10-15 minutes it’ll be done and ready to go! Great people and great food. It’s a two in one and you should definitely try there zaatar cheese and veggie mashrooh mixed by far my favorite dish!“
“My husband and I came here for the first time and the food was amazing! My husband is on a low sodium diet and they catered to his needs! We felt comfortable eating in this establishment... It's small but quaint! Gotta check them out!!❤️Dietary restrictions: They were accommodating my husband's low sodium diet“
