“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. “Hot Spot Eatery was a delightful restaurant b which stays open till 4 am during Ramadan and is also HALAL. I had the opportunity to visit and try their delectable food which I highly recommend, their food is fresh and well seasoned and the portion size is on point. I had their spicy chicken sub and their mango habanero boneless wings. Their sauces are nonidentical to other sauces, the freshness of the ingredients are immaculate. The atmosphere is astounding and reminds me of industrial Detroit. The customer service was A1, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he’s a very kind hearted man.“

“This was our second time ordering from the lunchbox and both times were great! The Red Reuben is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. I also asked if I could just have a plain chicken breast (we always get something for our cat when we eat out) and I had mentioned it was for my cat and when we picked it up they had said that they cut it up for her which is just the cutest thing. We've been ordering her food for years from many different restaurants and this is the first time anyone ever cut it up for her and I just thought that they went above and beyond for service because I would have been happy with just a chicken breast but the fact that they took the time to cut it up into small pieces for her was just amazing! “I was skeptical of trying this location. My original experience was Southfield- delish. 2nd time was Grosse Pointe- meh. The dearborn location got it right. I tried the huevos rancheros based off of other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce is a bit spicy, especially with the chorizo. So glad I got it on the side. I do wish it came with the homefry style potato, as I despise those frozen shredded hashbrowns.“

We get at least two meals each out of that. If you're not getting anything that big I'd also recommend either a shawarma (choice of roasted chicken, beef, or lamb), a shish kabob sandwich (choice of grilled beef or lamb), or a shish tawook sandwich (grilled chicken).“

“Came here with my friends and had a great dinner. We ordered the kebab platter for 2-4 people and it worked great for our party of four. Loved all the different variations of chicken/ lamb/ beef. The Adana was supreme! The chicken was so delicious. We loved the rice and salad and pita that came along side of the platter. We also ordered the sucuklu hummus and it was amazing. The iskender didn't have a traditional Turkish flavor bc it had a bit of cinnamon added to it. I think some people love this but for me I prefer the traditional version. The Kunefe was soooo good!“
