“I've worked there as well eaten there a number of times. My best friend left so there was an opening. Shawn was the server I replaced. Shawn was a awesome server she went above and beyond so I knew I had some big shoes to fill. One good thing for my advantage to is me and Shawn act a lot alike, walk alike so for a while I had to let customers know I'm hrt little sister. She is by far one of the best at what she does to make sure the guests left happy and most important they had an experience like no other. I modeled alot of her ways because being a waitress is just her title. Needless to say I had fun with the option to be her or me. Her passion goes deeper than serving a meal. It's her whole heart loving what she does best.“

“First time coming here , I will definitely be back, best pesto tortellini I've had in a long time and I'm so glad I added the blacked shrimp to it! You can truly tell it's handmade, especially the bread sticks. Absolutely amazing food , the staff is outstanding as well! The menu is a bit pricey, but I can guarantee it's well worth the money, you are definitely paying for quality food and quality service!“

“Stopped for lunch while traveling in the area. The food was delicious and our waitress Trisha was so sweet and helpful. We will definitely stop there again when in the area! We had the hot pretzels with queso which was amazing! My girls shared the grilled ham and cheese on Texas toast and the ham was off the bone and grilled!! Yummy!! Hubby had a cheeseburger and I had the lake perch!! So delicious!!! Thanks again for your wonderful service Trisha & crew!!“

“I actually helped build and create the outside patio at Umami and was treated to lunch by the owner and I tell you what I thought regular Ramen was really good LOL but Maruchan and Top Ramen don't hold a candle to umami at first I'm like wow $18 that's a little steep until I took my first bite and saw the portion, and an instant I'm like okay I get it now the price definitely correlates with the food on your plates. oh yeah and she let us drink Gatorades and stuff out of the refrigerator she was selling them we were able to help ourselves so she's really cool and definitely cares and takes pride and what she does. that's getting rare these days.“

“I had the Dig In Cafe cater my daughters wedding dinner and OH MY was the Mac and cheese the best I’ve ever had. Excellent service, the two ladies that delivered, set up the food and kept it full during the reception were wonderful! Our guests LOVED the food!“

“Absolutely enjoyed Nina's!! Ate every bite of my tamale. Fajitas were awesome. They have some of the best guacamole. Chips and salsa was very good. Enjoyed the cheese dip. Horchata had a hint of coconut. I've never had it with coconut milk or water. Very yummy!! Ate every bit of my rice, too. Still took a full plate home. Will absolutely go again and take guests whilst they're here. Highly recommend.“

“Excellent, unique pizza from a long standing Battle Creek iconic pizzeria. Also serving excellent side salads and chef salads. Highly recommend the pepperoni and bacon pizza with extra cheese. Yummy. And unlike what their website says, Sir Pizza IS OPEN on Sunday, 4 PM to 9 PM.“

“Holy cow. If you're feeling the need to do some self-care in the form of a big Midwestern wet burrito, this is it. "But Melee, that's a pizza place!" YEAH, WE KNOW. but for $7.50 you get a takeout box that weighs LIKE MINIMUM TWO POUNDS full of the trashy*, inauthentic wet burrito you know and love. And they didn't freak out when I asked for no onions. I'll write them into my will.*This is in no way a negative. Sometimes you need junk food. I'm just here to be descriptive and let you know where to get 4 big honkin' burritos for 30 bucks. Fast, too.“

“Absolutely love this place. We always have amazing food and they work so well with my daughters sensory issues. My kids adore the server we always have and give him hugs and he is always so kind to them and very patient with my overly hyper dad. The margaritas are amazing and the chunky guacamole is a must have!! Highly recommend!!“

“Kori was our server, he is most of the time we come here and we request him by name now. Even the hostesses don't need us to ask for Jim. They recognize us too. Kori makes the experience amazing. You can't beat the brew pub pretzels with beer cheese and honey mustard. Right now they have 50 cent wings. They need to bring back the white cheddar bacon chicken skillet.“

“When I want fried rice this is my go to place. The young woman who takes my order is always very nice. I find the blend of meat and vegetables well balanced. I must admit that I have not tried anything but the Bangkok fried rice. I just really like that dish. Maybe one day I will try something else but for now the fried rice just does it for me.“

“The food is better than any other Chinese take out or buffet in the Battle Creek area. I am giving them 5 stars because they are much better than the rating they have. Its more like a 4 star place if the rating was honest. There is better asian food in the area but it's twice as expensive. The only drawback is no dine in carry out only“

“We went to red lobster to celebrate my sister‘s 69th birthday. It did not disappoint even though they were super busy. The gracious host got us in, and we sat at a corner booth. We had a nice waitress, and others helped her. They worked as a team to bring us great food and a good time.“
