“Still the best Middle Eastern food in the Metro Detroit area. A big claim I know, but it's true. Everything is delicious here, but a few of my favorites are the chicken shawarma, falafel, the lentil soup, and they have the best garlic sauce. Generous portions and friendly service (neither of which you will find at that place that starts with B and ends with "rest").“
“My experience at this delicate chessing has always been pleasurable. I have been going there for years, It is owner operated so you know you're getting the best service, The atmosphere is slightly old world. It is direct into the point. It is worth the drive for me to go there.“
“Delicious meals every single darn time. HUGE amounts of food. Fresh ingredients. The bowls are filling and the dinners are great to share. Always a friendly service and if you have any questions, they’re great at helping. Happy Eid coming up soon!“
“Thank you for a very much needed and delicious sandwich, even though you were closed, you still served me and didn't even charge me. The only thing that was better than the sandwich is your kindness and manors. When you do good, it will always come back to you multipled by 10. I appreciate you.“
“THIS WAS THE BEST MEAL I EVER HAD I went in with my cousin sat down and ate our food and ordered a chicken, steak bowl and pita wrap from the sauce to the rice in the bowl it was so amazing this was literally worth every dollar Kristina was so friendly she let us try the smoothies and kool-aid drinks! Great environment for a chill day love the vibes for sure will be back!“
“Yooo. I just got takeout grape leaves and hummus/chicken for the first time from Boffs and I can't tell you how happy I am to have a place for solid middle eastern food in my neighborhood. The grape leaves are the size of cigars. I'm going to be going here a lot more.“
“My husband was telling me to try this place . He also told me they are a Christian family ! I must say he was correct and the food was fresh and very tender and they use a higher quality chicken . We definitely found a place to call hiE when it comes to Lebanese food ! You will have to see for yourself ! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Teresa Luks“
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family operated restaurant!! I was visiting the area for work trip and stayed at hotel walking distance from Wokabob. Saw the positive reviews and walked over to order dinner to go eat back in my room. So many options I wanted to try - I went with the D-Jay (drunken noodles and chicken shawarma) spice of mild plus. As I was waiting for my meal to be prepared I talked with the owner (wife) Natalie who is so friendly with her service. I told her I will have to come back tomorrow to order another dish it all looked so good! When she handed me my to go order (one meal) I could not believe how heavy the bag was, felt like a lot of food! It was so delicious, a nice heat level, so much flavor and huge portion. I went back for lunch the next day AND ordered another meal for dinner. This time was husband owner “Papi” who I met and I ordered his signature dish of Pineapple fried rice with shrimp kabob and also a shrimp pad Thai. Again, generous portions of tasty fresh food spiced as I liked it mild plus. I ate lunch in the restaurant and took the rest back home for dinner. Food is A + I want to try more dishes next time I am in town. The shrimp very flavorful can taste the high quality ingredients in all dishes I enjoyed. The food is prepared with love and pride. Such kind warm people here this is the kind of family business I want to return to and see thrive. Restaurant is very clean. Such a great place!!“
“If you're looking for authentic delicious Middle Eastern cuisine this little neighborhood spot has you covered! I love that it's family-owned and they take pride in their food. The food tastes great, has nice portions, and is reasonably priced! They are also from the neighborhood and they value their customers:) As a bonus it is always a nice feeling to support local family businesses. Enjoy!“
“We were in from out of town visiting friends and decided to give Kabob Palace a try. We ordered one of their family meals for 4 and it was so much delicious food! There were delicious kabobs, chicken, shawarma (beef and chicken), as well as rice, and fabulous hummus and garlic sauce. We had such a a wonderful dinner and also leftovers for later. It allowed us to spend time together and not worry about cooking. Best of all, the service was fast and friendly. This is a fabulous place and you can tell they really cook with love! I hope to be back next time we come to town to visit!“
“I found them accidentially but it is the best Persian food that I have ever had not only in Michigan but in US. If you wanna try authentic Persian Kebabs go to Lamir. Tasty, tender, flavourful, juicy kebabs and big portions of foods with reasonable prices.“
“One of my fav places in the area to eat! Love to dine-in and get takeout, everything is really delicious! I usually get a fattoush salad, lentil soup, chicken Schwarma plate or the kabob Eden platter. The service is great and the prices are better than other places in the area. We’ve been coming here the last 6 years and it’s definitely worth stopping by!“
“Growing up part Lebanese and Syrian I was basically raised on this type of food, so I know what I like, and my expectations were high. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waitress Kylie was outstanding. For drinks I ordered a Manhattan, and my friend had a Spicey Margarita. Both were strong and delicious. For our Appetizers we had the Calamari which was super crispy and came with an amazing sliced tomato sauce. Of course I had to get a taste of everything so the Vegetarian Plate was an absolute must. It came with so many different food items and even just the presentation alone was gorgeous. My favorites were the fried Falafel which was super flavorful, crispy, but not dry at all like many can be from other places, the Baba Ghanouge was fantastic, and the Hummus which was so smooth and some of the best I’ve had. Hot bread was provided as well for dipping. Now if I’m completely honest, I did not care for the Veggie Grape Leaves or the Fattoush Salad. The salad seemed a little soggy and the flavors just kind of blended together, and the Grape Leaves had much too strong of a lemon/garlic type of taste that was way too overpowering. For our Entrees I decided on the Kibbeh Niyeh (raw lamb), which was very fresh and a large portion for the price. My friend decided to mix it up and try the Chicken Florentine. I wasn’t sure a predominantly Middle Eastern style restaurant could deliver on a dish like that, but not only was the portion huge, the flavor and quality is like one you’d find at a nice Italian restaurant. I was very surprised. For Dessert we of course had to try the Tiramisu. Each bite nearly had our eyes rolling to the back of our heads. It was light but flavorful, and each bite just melted in your mouth. If you’re in the mood for good Mediterranean, I highly recommend checking this place out!“
“The best customer service ever! My first time coming and I felt very welcome. I got a chicken shawarma and the was moist and delicious. Tasted fresh and not like it’s been sitting like other places I’ve been to. I was also able to sample before I bought which I loved. 10 out of 10 will definitely recommend!“
“Amazing! So I ordered Fatousch salad with beef and fetaI also got baklava on the sideWhen I got back to my hotel I realized it wasn’t in my Togo bag.Honestly I thought I had forgotten to grab it lol.Anyways I called and the nice lady remembered my order and apologized! She said it was ok for me to come in the next day and pick it up.So I went and picked it up and again such a pleasant experience. Seriously such a great place“
“This is a hidden gem!A friend recommended I try this place, and while the aesthetic is not "trendy" or cute by any means, the customer service and food absolutely blew me away. My date and I were treated like beloved family members visiting from out of town, and the food was authentic and delicious.Kid-friendliness: Good for the whole family.“
“We went for lunch. It was super crowded! I mean packed! Snagged a table quickly. Good came really fast and it was really good. The ONLY complaint is they sprinkled everything with some hot spice. My friend couldn't eat hers and had to send it back. Once she got a fresh dish with no spice it was great!“
“Hassan has the best tasting Mjadra sandwich. I just landed in NY and went to two Middle Eastern resiand they don't even serve them. He is a wonderful host. All the best Hassan. See you next time I'm in town. It was wonderful sharing with you. Cheers!“
