“Thank you Sweet Life Cake Shop for the cutest and delicious cupcake cake. I waited till last minute to order a cake for my son and they were able to pull off this adorable alligator.”
“This is my favorite brewery in Michigan, and I’ve been to quite a few! Their IPAs are some of the best I’ve ever had… but I’m campaigning to bring back Lost City of Haze, which is probably my favorite beer of all time!”
“Baffin Brewing Company offers a diverse selection of craft beers that cater to various tastes. The ambiance is welcoming, creating a comfortable space for beer enthusiasts. From hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, their brews showcase a commitment to quality and innovation. The knowledgeable staff enhances the overall experience, providing insights into the brewing process. Whether you're a seasoned beer connoisseur or a casual drinker, Baffin Brewing Company is worth a visit for its well-crafted beers and inviting atmosphere.”
“The panko breaded perch with the Hawaiian salad was excellent. I love the spaced out relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a private conversation. Service was spot on. I also like a restaurant that serves rolls or bread that is specially made served right after you sit down. Nice job.”
“Came in to sub for a friend for a euchre tournament, the beer was all really tasty, the staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was nice! They have a rotating food truck outside as opposed to their own food and I'm super into that as well. It's a real small, cozy, local place and I'll definitely be back!”
“We have been to Pepperoni's twice now. The first time we went on a Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The second time we went on a Wednesday and took advantage of their pasta special. Both nights the food was amazing and the service was top notch. The bartender, Sarah, gives some of the best service around. She remembered our names first thing and always makes sure we are taken care of. This will be a regular spot for us from here out.”
“What a quaint location in a historic home! There is a nice feeling of privacy as there are only a handful of tabled in each of the several rooms. The server was very kind even if a bit inexperienced. The escargot was very good and a generous size portion. The loaded baked potato soup was unremarkable. The New York was well seasoned and cooked to order.Stop by, listen to Don at the piano, have a meal, and see for yourself.”
“Would of gave it 5 stars but only because of the seats. I hate to sit on high top chairs with no back, being picky maybe. I would of gave 4 and half stars for service but was no half.”
“This was my 2nd time here. I had the fish and chips with the clam chowder both times. There was some inconsistencies with the fry between the two visits. The first time was definitely better but the flavor was good both times. The chowder is amazing. And the fried gouda sticks were delicious also. Our server both times was nice and responsive. Our 2nd time the server was more seasoned. She knew the menu inside and out and understood how to answer all of my questions. She also had recommendations which I asked for. For what it's worth, the restaurant could benefit from a update it's definitely an old and dinge kinda vibe. With that said though the food was good, and we will return.”
“This was an impromptu visit for me, I had no expectations. My sis loves it, so I have it an open mind. FANTASTIC service, extremely fresh and generous servings and price was comparable with the quality.”
“Had a great dinner at the new Blue Goose! For only day 2 of being open you would never know, service and food were amazing! Will be back for sure. The owner does a fantastic job with his restaurants - I was a regular at Salvatore’s on 9 mile for years and was beyond excited when they announced a restaurant in the Shores.”
“My husband and I had a great experience!! Beautiful scenery off the water. We decided to be adventurous and try the bone marrow, highly recommend. My husband got the lamb chops and I got the lobster knuckle and scollop pasta which was loaded and cooked to perfection. Everything was “chef’s kiss”!! We will definitely be returning.”
“Very pretty inside, clean and a pretty veiw of the lake and boats. We made reservations online. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress took our drink order right away. She came back then took our appetizer order. She brought out our appetizers which were very hot. Then took our food order. My husband ordered the calamari which he said was pretty good. I ordered the beef egg rolls. Besides being fresh they lacked seasoning. She took our food orders.I don’t know if our food just sat under the heat lamp too long but both of our dishes were over cooked. I got a chicken sandwich (also under seasoned again) and he got the sword fish. Both very dry. Also I got a rum runner which was very good (just tell them to hold the dead flies)For the price we paid, I don’t think our dinner was worth it. Not for some over cooked, under seasoned meals.Parking: Parking across from the buildingWheelchair accessibility: Open spaces”
“Was the only place we could find that was actually open in St Clair shores past 9pm during the week. Decent place..nothing to write home about, but I'd eat there again! Waitress was nice. Food was reasonably priced. Buns were a little mushy, but that happens.”
“First of all coney delivered is amazing. The food is always hot when it arrives and QUICK. There isn’t one thing on the menu I’ve tried that I don’t like. Amazing salads, burgers, and pitas. 10/10”
“You know, my father was a Cop in the Shores back in the 50s, 60s and early 70s, I have worked for just about every Pizza Company there is, especially the local ones including Sammys on 13 and Jefferson, I am still a PQM member for pizza guys, I love pizzas, I don't buy out too often because I can make anybody's I want, but had to try DSPC. ,The crust was awesome, liked it better then Buddys or Jetts, burnt cheese on it was perfect, the topping were awesome. And the sauce was a great traditional. Not too sweet or flat. I cant say enough good stuff about my experience. But Pizza is not just regional, it is Neighborhood Driven, even 2 miles tastes change to what is local for you. So go out and try a Little Guys Pizza and forgo the chains.”
“Pegasus is the closest and most authentic Greek cuisine in SCS. Whether dining in or carrying out, I have never had a bad meal at Pegasus. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, the food is hot, and the portions are plentiful. If dining in, Pegasus has a lot of seating, usually not too busy, and has a quaint ambiance to the inside.”
“This is an awesome location for family dining, date night or a quick drink! My family and I went for sushi on a Sunday afternoon and we left very impressed!! Can't wait to go back.Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu and crayons”
“Had the best time on St Patty's Day. We were the only customers in the restaurant because it was an hour before closing time. JoAnn was so friendly and warm. Told us repeatedly to take our time. Service was excellent as well as quick. They made us feel like family. And our waitress Liz kept a smile on her face and made great drinks! One of my favorite places hands down. So appreciated after a long days work. Great job”
“We had pizza, meat balls, peppers/sausage, salad, chicken parmesan, filet with mushroom gravy, bolganase. Everything was very good. We came for a company meeting so we had a private room. The service was great as well!”
