“One of our favorite spots on the Peninsula! We go both in the summer and sit on the patio and for Toast The Season in the fall. We sat out in an igloo in november ans it was great.”

“Stopped in on Sunday 3/16. Middle of a snow storm but they were open. Guy was working the bar and was pleasant to talk witymh as I enjoyed a pint. He was informed of the industry and welcoming on a crappy day. I look forward to going again.”

“This place is magical. My husband and I stayed here 9 years ago and again this last weekend. And it was just as perfect. David, the innkeeper, is amazing! He really makes sure you feel special. The chef that prepared breakfast served a beautiful eggs benedict. Not to mention the lovely brunch with Santa event that we were lucky to attend, the food was awesome. Oh, and the wine is outstanding.”

“We are visiting from Fremont MI to a relative in Suttons Bay. He recommended this cafe; it is a great breakfast place. Outstanding food, great staff. Everyone is friendly. The owner came over this morning and talked to us for a while. Super place to go. Went back and had a burger this evening. WED-FRI 4pm - 8pm - evening burgers. Everything we have had is GREAT!!!!! “Melinda took such great care of our group. We are Fizz Club members but our kidults and their partners had never been. Melinda took lots of time to explain the various sparkling wines and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very attentive despite it being a pretty busy afternoon in the tasting room. We stayed way longer than our reservation but never felt rushed out. Such a great place!”

We even had some car troubles and they were super kind in trying to help us out and let us stay even after close. Could have not had a better experience here. “We are locals and frequent Hawkin’s Farm Cellars a lot. The service is friendly and the Thai food is exceptional. My husband especially loves the Pad Thai chicken and I am a huge fan of the Green Curry dish. You could literally close your eyes and just point to anything on the menu and never be disappointed!”

“I have been going to Black Star Farms for over 20 years. Yes my favorite Michigan winery! As a member of the BSF's wine club, I have stayed many times at the Inn also.
have some family friends that came to a wine club dinner about 8 years ago. They use to live in California, visited Napa Valley a lot. took them to 3 + other Winery's, they both said BSF's was the best!!! Good luck in the next 25 years!!”

“Unbeatable outdoor atmosphere/ beer garden on a nice day. During this visit, the staff seemed friendly and accommodating, but spread very thinly considering the crowd, but their self-service hospitality model seems to help ease this.

Hop Lot’s seasonal brews are always really good, and this visit didn’t disappoint!”

“We stopped in after getting our Christmas tree from Kolariks Christmas tree farm just before noon on a Saturday. Rookie parent move, we had promised our 2.5yr old a sprinkled donut however when we arrived the case had been wiped out by the busy morning rush. The sweet lady working overheard us talking and offered to make our son a fresh sprinkled donut. Her kindness and delicious donut made his day! Also highly recommend the pumpkin cream cheese muffin and lemon poppyseed muffin! Thank you Chimoski Bakery!”

“Stopped in for a Sunday breakfast while vacationing in northern Michigan at this downtown Sutton's Bay eatery. There was comfortable seating inside and out on the patio. The ambiance was warm, with touches of humor incorporated in the decor (note the framed picture over the fireplace when you visit). We dined in the very relaxing atmosphere filled with quiet recorded jazz and happy patrons' conversations. The service was friendly and excellent. Our breakfasts were delicious! My partner's Eggs Benedict disappeared as did my Cherry Cream French Toast with fresh black and red raspberries crowning it off. We will DEFINITELY stop here again! Highly recommend it! Notes: While we did not order drinks aside from coffee, note the drink menu image. And, as we left, we spotted a notice of future live jazz combo appearances.”

“The rooms are filled with a tv, microwave, toaster, utensils, coffee pot, the beds and pillows were comfy and a great nights rest. The view is a 1000% Awesome. The hospitality and generosity was outstanding. everything was clean and well maintained! Highly recommend this place. If money was no object, I would never leave. I fell in love with this place and I definitely will be back!! they trusted us and we trusted them. it's hard to find genuine people these days and the owners definitely showed us that there are still kind people around!! I'd give this place 1 million stars. I miss it already!!”
