“Service was amazing. We were throwing several drinks at the server and she was picking the one she thought we'd like. All the cocktails were super interesting.Food was incredible. Burger had the perfect amount of sweet and savory. French fries were perfect. Detroit style pizza was well done. All of the house liquors were great.”
“I stopped for the “greek gyro” it’s a chicken gyro wrap, it was delicious. It was toasted with a great flavor and seasoning. I loved it, thanks for making my lunch taste awesome! I tried something new and absolutely loved it!”
“Happened upon this place when looking for a place for lunch. Cute store and restaurant. Only wish I had known there was a sandwich counter in the back. Maybe the host can let people know there is an option other than the restaurant.”
“Stopped in yesterday with my husband & cousin! Such a CUTE place, well priced, absolutely delicious spreads, bagel chips, pastries & tomato bread! Will be back!”
“What an amazing little lunch spot. Can't wait to go back for breakfast sometime. Friendly service, good vibe, quaint space. Love to see this in the funny little town of Galien. In a town where it seems everything else has gone out of business, Ray & Al's is a bustling sandwich shop and bakery putting out excellent food.We tried the liverwurst sandwich, which seemed appropriate given all the German heritage in the area. It was good, but I'd try something else next time. It's a unique flavor profile worth trying at least once. You might love it!The Cuban sandwich had a great, smokey flavor to it.Macaroni salad was sweeter than we like it, but that's just personal preference.Baked goods were tasty - tried a chocolate donut and a gluten free brown butter oatmeal chocolate cookie. (it'd probably be even better NOT gluten free ;))Indoor was busy but tables turned fast. There are also a handful of outdoor seating options as well.Well done Ray & Al!”
“Cute little Cafe. Wonderful decor, amazing coffee and delicious food. Everything was so fresh and light. Oh and definitely get a muffin!!! Every flavor looked so yummy and huge! We got the Strawberry ? it had cream cheese and strawberries baked inside.”
“Honestly, the food was pretty decent. My partner really loved the pasta (chicken alfredo). The pizza was alright, slightly burnt around the edges. The “dinner for two deal” ($55) was a decent deal for the food you got. Came with soup/salad, one (2 topping) pizza, a main entree (pasta), and dessert (coffee and a cookie). Did get a 3% fee, which we didn’t know about.”
“We had a lovely time last night, we shared the octopus, carpaccio and arancini appetizers and some cocktails and it was all perfect. No notes. The bartender was great as well. We’ll be back soon!”
“Infusco Coffee has become our go-to place when driving between the Detroit area and Chicago. Great people, good food and drinks, and lovely vibe! The only thing they’re missing is a changing table. I’ve let them know and hope to see it soon!Kid-friendliness: Our 1 month old loves coming and roaming around the place. People are friendly and take her so well.”
“We checked this place out on our way through New Buffalo. Service was great and very friendly! I had the blackberry and the lemon cheesecake. My partner had the Carmel and banana cream pie. All of the flavors were excellent. The interior of the space was fun and full of memorabilia. There were spots around the parking lot to take pictures and relax.Dietary restrictions: They have some vegan optionsKid-friendliness: Kids would love this place”
“Great experience popping in today during a road trip! Very nice people, and great selection of baked goods. They have REALLY great coffee as well - got a drip coffee with milk and sugar, and it was just what I hoped (I’m very picky with coffee as well, for what it’s worth!)Really nice spot and would love to stop in again!”
“The best build your own bagel sandwich and oatmilk cortado I've had in a long time! My husband, our friends and I were vacationing in New Buff for the New Year's weekend and came to David's for breakfast and were blown away, not only by their food and drinks but their excellent service! They also have amazing lunch and pastry options! You've got to visit and experience it for yourself, can't recommend them more!Vegetarian options: Can build your own sandwiches without meat and their lunch options are very vegetarian friendly!”
“We don't come here a lot but I'm not sure why. This is a great breakfast joint. Their omlets and scrambles are on point. Eggs are perfectly cooked, and they actually put enough cheese in it. Most places skimp on the cheese. Not these guys! The kids absolutely love the Piggy pancakes. They use chocolate chips for the eyes, and the kids go crazy. The only complaint I have and it isn't really a complaint. it's just my preference. They don't butter your toast. The food came fast, and the service was great, and the place itself is very quaint. We will definitely be back!”
“Came here with my fiancé during a Red Arrow Highway excursion. They only have drinks here, but what I did have was good, Dad got something and let me try some of it. Its also dog-friendly, which was cute to see.”
“Didn't order food so can't speak to that, but the vibes are immaculate here. Awesome back patio with cornhole, a fire pit, and foosball. Beer selection is fantastic, the tangerine wheat ale was honestly better than Oberon in my opinion. Plus $3 Malort shots for all of the Chicagoans visiting. If (like our group) you are camping at Warren Dunes and the DNR harassed you for drinking a beer at the state park, or just want a quick beer while in town, would highly recommend this place!”
“Unfortunately we didn't get to eat there. We tried at around 7 pm on a Tuesday night and they had a 2 hour wait. Not sure if they accept reservations but I would definitely try if it's somewhere you want to check out”
“This was my first time here. This is a quaint hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant in New Carlisle, Indiana. Our booth had comfortable seats and it was situated right over one of the heat ducts which made itnice and warm the entire time we were there!. Our server was polite and checked on us often enough to keep our drinks filled. I had the BLT club sandwich which was a triple decker! It was grilled with butter on the outside slices of bread and the tomatoes were nice and ripe and it had ample bacon slices. It was actually the best BTL I’ve ever had! My husband had the BBQ pork sandwich and said it was very delicious. I highly recommend Jennie Rae’s for hometown good cooking!”
“The Diner and Jenn are always a great way to start my day. The comfort food breakfasts never disappoint. I appreciate the consistent service and meals that I have come to expect. If you are in need of a great country style breakfast and small town atmosphere, I highly recommend The Diner. They will not disappoint.”
“This spot is great for cozy cocktails and great food! Their fish and chips are hand battered and definitely our top pick on the menu. The staff always is smiling and have made each of our visits wonderful!Highly recommend stopping in!”
“Alright, so we've lived in Philly and Chicago, tasted some top-notch food, you know? But The Historian? Man, it's right up there with the best!Started things off with those French deviled eggs – just wow! Then, I went for the tomahawk pork chop, and seriously, it's like they've mastered the art of making pork taste like heaven. Cut into it, and it's as smooth as butter. Me and the hubby gave it a solid "best pork chop ever" vote. ?Hubby tried the hanger steak, and it was pure deliciousness. The flavors, the tenderness – spot on. His old fashioned cocktail was also fabulousAlready planning our next date night at The Historian. It's a no-brainer; we're bringing our friends along for this foodie adventure. Can't wait to dive back into this tasty haven!”
“Rios is our go to taco shop. Spring, Summer & Fall their our favorite last minute picnic food. We swing through the drive-thru and head straight to the picnic tables with harbor views at the New Buffalo transient marina.”
“Delicious! We came here 4 years ago when we were visiting the area and we ended up having to do research to try to find what it was called to come back just today and it blew us away again now that we were able to make it back! Highly ”
“We were visiting the area due to a baseball tournament and decided to try this place out. I got the Pot Roast French Dip and it was perfect! Tender meat, lots of cheese, yummy sautéed onions and great aus ju! Highly recommend! Also great service!”
“This food was amazing! We loved the quesadilla, empanadas, carna asada, and the flair as. My son got breakfast and it looked amazing too. The service was great. Lots of options. Highly recommend.”
“This was a super cool spot to stop for a night cap! First, we loved the concept of reopening the deli at night as kind of a secret speak easy. The bartenders were hip and knowledgeable, the cocktail menu was well varied and well designed, and the drinks were amazing! My wife chose a Cosmo and it was delicious, and I had an old fashioned that was among the most carefully crafted I’ve ever had for the price. On a date night? Go here! Out with friends? Go here! Rough day of fishing? Go here! Is your favorite bar an Applebees where you can slurp a Bahama Mama? Go here and learn how great a bar and a drink can be!”
“Local Pour is a Gem! They are dedicated to Michigan Craft Beverages - what a worthy cause! Their curated selection of wines, beers, spirits, and mixers never disappoints and is constantly evolving. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable, yet very easy to talk to. I was surprised at how large the selection of wines and beers they had on hand, and they make a good cocktail too.Not only do they offer great service and exciting events at Local Pour, but they also have a catering license. This means that you can have them pour Michigan wines, beers, and spirits at your own private event. My husband and I had Steve Salisbury, an employee at Local Pour, come to our house to present and pour wines for a wine dinner. Steve made everyone feel a part of the conversation, whether they were a wine aficionado or a novice. He gave great background information about Michigan wines in general as well as sharing the stories of the producers and vineyards. It was a memorable night for everyone! I highly recommend this service!”
“The atmosphere is more or less VFW/Legion. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Drinks very reasonable. Overall it felt like a corner bar I grew up in, in the region.”
“Lovely ladies dinner for Christmas. Good was unexpected and delicious. We each tried something different. Don't sleep on the drinks, they know how to make them. Will return for date nights.”
“This has been our favorite pizza for over 20 years. Wife and I would go when we were dating and still go as often as we like. Still the best.Parking: Lots of parking. I think that if the parking lot is full, you ain't gonna get a seat. Lots of parking.”
“Extremely great staff. The chef comes out and talks to you. Sometimes, The weight staff is very, very friendly as well. And takes great care of you. I highly recommend a great little spot and pretty great coffee, too.”
