“I treated my friends to dinner tonight and the service was just as fabulous as the food. Our server was Kateri (Kat) she took great care of us and also recommended some of the food items on the menu. Everything was delish. We are definitely going back. Thanks Kat for your great hospitality 😁”
“Amazing! Went in to enjoy breakfast with my girls and couldn’t have been more impressed. The food is to die for!! The atmosphere is perfect. The staff is great!. I would highly recommend going in, you WILL NOT be disappointed”
“We always get the crispy chicken Caesar salad. It is the best salad ever. We live 3 hours away and we talk about this salad every day! Can’t wait to come back again! The pasta is delicious too, and the garlic dots!!”
“Red Ginger is the full experience. The staff (Randy is our favorite server), drinks, food and atmosphere are simply put… AMAZING! They keep great records for when we call to make reservations. We always get the table we like. They are on top of allergy sensitive issues and are willing to adjust menu items (when they can) so we have more options. We never feel rushed or like they are trying to push us out for another sitting. This is our favorite restaurant to visit!”

The food is always above expectations and on every visit there is something new to try. The atmosphere is cozy and never rushed. From the gracious owner, to the exceptional servers and the amazing bartender (she really is the best) they always make you feel like family. If you haven’t been there you are missing out on a wonderful dining experience.”

“Outstanding reviews from guests at our Welcome Party with Folgarelli's catering service. Patience with me in planning the event, amazing food (locally sourced), and great staff to provide food and bartending services. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you :-)!”
“We loved taproot!! Food was amazing.! Great for gluten free and vegan. Even had a small dog menu! Our pup had a burger for dinner and our waitress was fantastic and welcoming to us and our dog! Thanks for a great experience! We will be back”

“I grew up in this town but left in 1985. I’ve lived in California since and have eaten at a lot of great restaurants including the Laundry, Chez Panisse, Slanted Door and Mr Chows to name a few. This without a doubt rank's right there. I honestly never thought I’d have a decent thing to eat in this town other than bar food but now I know exactly where it is. If you’re hungry for something exceptional look no further. I have never liked mushrooms, but the mushroom toast was my favorite dish. I can’t believe I’m saying it. Thank you Jen and to the staff for a great evening Looking forward to going back.”
“My Mom had the chili & black bean burger. She loved both! I had the French dip and I was great- the chips seemed homemade. A very quaint space too, but small so while we only waited about ten minutes, I would recommend reservations. Though there is plenty of shopping to keep you busy should you need to wait longer.”
“I can't say enough good about this place. We went for the hibachi portion of it and had a blast. Yes, it was a bit pricy but your getting a ton of food and great entertainment! Staff was welcoming and kind, and the best food I've had in a while. Can't wait to come back for more.”
“The staff was phenomenal, the atmosphere was laid back and not pushy, absolutely awesome! We ended up getting a wine club membership for out of state shipping and loving every minute here. It is a little off the “main road” as a tourist but absolutely worth it!!!”
“Our favorite wine on the peninsula! The menu is simple compared to others in the area, but each wine they offer is a classic that's bound to please. The building itself is a louder/open atmosphere, but the view is beautiful and there was some seating outdoors. We tried 3 different wines in the flight and each were very good”
“Our party of 7 was delighted with our menu options and choices. All the food was delicious and our server was courteous and attentive. The owner even stopped by our table to check in and was elated with the feedback we were able to give about our experience. Great food! My only complaint is that the space is quite noisy when it’s full. Otherwise it was awesome.”

“Great food friendly service. South East Asian flavor at its finest! I almost felt like I was back in Phnom Penh. The food was so good Asian places in America usually don’t convey what you get in Asian cuisine but this restaurant does. Keep up the good work. Great work guys.”
“Everything we ate was great! We were still talking about the sandwiches, the fresh dill dip, the broccoli cheddar soup all afternoon. It's a nice touch that the meat was heated, as well as the bread toasted. Chef's kiss. The Chubby Unicorn is now our favorite sandwich shop in TC.”

“I went to Farm Club while on a ski trip with my friends and we just loved this place! It has an amazing atmosphere and wonderful food and drink options.”
“This was the best cigar bar hands down. My first time visiting traverse city and this experience was top notch. The bar tenders and all staff did a wonderful job. Very helpful and very polite in there job. No complaints. If I ever visit anytime in the future I definitely will be coming back here. The drinks were excellent and cigars very reasonable.”

“We got our cake done by Water's Edge Sweet Tooth & we're so glad we did. Working with Kim was so enjoyable and the tasting was something out of a rom-com!!
Kim was professional, listened to what we wanted, punctual with delivery and we ended up with the most beautiful and delicious cake EVER. I STRONGLY recommend the apple butter vanilla cake, I'll be dreaming about it forever.”
“My new favorite go-to for a healthy yet flavorful meal! I’ve gotten three generations of my family craving this works of delicious art. I even tell strangers about this establishment. The Target courier told me I should become a spokesperson for Playa in TC as I was stressing to him that he needed to take his mom there when she came to town for a visit. Huge selection, great staff, friendly service and the order ahead option is very convenient.”
“Went in this past Sunday for brunch and to say the meal was stellar doesn't fully describe it. The owner was such a kind and bubbly lady who truly cared about her customers, her server was equally as sweet. Our food was quite literally the BEST MEAL we have ever eaten on a vacation and we will 100% be coming back for more! My wife ordered the Honey Bee Crepè & I believe I got the Croquè Madame with added Raclette Cheese. We divided our meals so we each got a savory and a sweet and we were not disappointed until the end when it was all gone. Thank you so much for making my 50th Birthday brunch the best meal ever! Can't wait to come back again to try another menu item. Crepes & Co deserves 100 🌟”

“Earthen Ales is a pleasant place to enjoy a beer. I stopped by to try a flight of beers and really enjoyed their darker ales. It feels pretty casual and welcoming, and I like how it’s kind of hidden away back there. I’ll have to look out for their beers in my neck of the woods.”
“East Bay Pizza in Traverse City is hands down 5/5! The pizza didn’t even stand a chance—we devoured it so fast I didn’t have time to take a picture. That should tell you everything you need to know. 😂 Amazing flavor, great crust, and to top it off, their ice cream is just as good! Highly recommended if you're in town!”
“Stopped here on our way out of town and SO glad we did!!! The gingerbread latte and chestnut mocha are both to die for! The molasses cookie that came with the gingerbread latte was also amazing. On top of that, the atmosphere is so cool. Definitely do yourself a favor and stop by when you’re in Sutton’s Bay!”
“Came from Florida for the lights but weather was cloudy. Found this place and decided to check it out. Micheal was awesome! Knowledgeable and attentive. We had a great experience. Ofc the wine was great as well!”
“You step foot into Blessed Be Tea and you can feel the love that has went into this cute little shop. Allie’s handcrafted teas are amazing, she has all the herbs for your apothecary needs and sooo many local vendors and artwork. Such a gem and I always enjoy coming here! 100% recommend ❤️”

“Amazing distillery, Will was awesome and was very educated on all the products and helped greatly when making a decision on our tasting and purchasing of our Whiskey.”
“They have great beer there and a number of pinball machines. The owners are good people who have been in the brewery business for close to 30 years. My favorite 3 beers there are Gin Joy, CEO stout and cake walk. They have some good IPAs which I have been known to drink occasionally”

“My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the patio with Heidi and Annie. Heidi was so helpful and very gracious to me in our selections and accommodating to my allergy to gluten. We felt very welcome the most welcome in all of Traverse City.”

“Have been buying Asiago Roasted Garlic bread for years. Great Bread toasted loaded with real garlic cloves. However the last loaf lacked any Garlic at all. Very disappointed is this the new norm to be expected or was this an aberration? The latter I would hope otherwise we will be opting for a new bakery. Have a nice day ?☀️”
“I was very disappointed with my donuts. As it is they were kinda pricey. But I really don’t mind paying if it’s worth it. I took my donuts home and out the bag and my nutty donut were gross. It was like they got wet I don’t know what happen to them. I had the little nutty donut hole before and they tasted good. This was the regular size donut. I seen on the receipt they offer a refund. But such an inconvenience to drive the way back and have to wait in line. Especially when you worked all night. Who wants a wet & cold nutty donut. I know I don’t. Sorry Pottery Bakery. You got a thumbs down from me.!”

“I stopped in for breakfast this past Saturday, May 18 and was so impressed with my server Nikki and the terrific Popeye omelet and cherry pancakes, I came back Sunday morning May 19 and had an equally terrific experience, courtesy of Rae, who served me an equally tasty Albuquerque omelet. Both Nikki and Rae were positive, professional, prompt and refreshingly upbeat. In an economy that is all too often focused on commodities, the service your team provided made the food, that much better. I'll definitely be back, the next time I'm in Traverse City and of course, recommend the Flap Jack Shack to people who are traveling there. Please pass my appreciation on to Nikki and Rae, as well as their manager, who has obviously been instrumental in creating a service-first team! ps. I asked Nikki for some chocolate syrup for my Cherry Pancakes and she cheerfully obliged. You should put it on the menu, it's the bomb!”

“My husband and I both enjoy Indian food. This is hands down the BEST Indian food we’ve ever had! I had Daal Tadka and my husband had Daal Madkani. We also shared garlic naan. The ambience is modern with of course an Indian vibe. The aromas walking in were very enticing yet not over powering. They have a large variety of food. Plenty of vegetarian options which I was pleased with. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was timely yet not constantly interrupting. The chef brings the food to your table which was a lovely touch. I’m addition to the food being delicious, it’s very generous portions. We both had plenty left over to take home. Highly recommend this gem when you’re in Traverse City. We will likely visit it again before we head home next week!”
“I tried a flight of beers at Tank Space and found the beers quite nice. The staff was nice enough, and the place was comfortable and casual. The kellerpils beer was my personal favorite of the bunch I tried. With the burger place next door, this is a great place for a beer; the dynamic between these neighboring stores is great. It’s definitely worth a stop.”
“This was my second visit and it was as good as the first. The beers I have had (primrose, four o'clock and marzen) have all been great, all of them worth another glass. Strong contender for the best brewery in TC. It has a neat indoor / outdoor atmosphere. Currently (10/15/2025), there is no food, but you're welcome to bring your own.”
“Didn't eat, just had a hot Macha. Warmly received and quickly taken care of. Pretty good volume of people present for a mid Wednesday morning. Personally I'd prefer more smaller tables than the large community tables inside, but that's just me. Love the outdoor space but it was too cold to use this visit. Very cool building and love the parking lot not being dirt or paved but a gravel infilled grid. Looking forward to going back to try more things.”
“We held our outdoor wedding vows and celebration here and couldn’t have been happier! We wanted a casual, indoor/outdoor venue that would provide our guests with a laid back atmosphere to connect and celebrate. This venue was perfect for us! We also loved that we were able to rent out the upstairs apartment for the weekend, too. It was so convenient and made set up easier on the day of.”
“I was having a pretty rough day because my flight got cancelled and I needed a place to hang out for a few hours. The staff was incredibly accommodating and very friendly. I've been to many Starbucks across the country and this was the best experience I've had of all of them. If I want coffee the next time I'm in Traverse City, I will be coming back to this store.”
“These food alchemists put their heart into everything that is served! It was both nourishing and good for the soul! Yummy yummy yummy! Inspiration in my belly! Tc is lucky to have them. Warmest of memories made at their table!”
