“Good is very good. Crispy breading on the fried foods is delicious. The chicken strips, fries, and fried pickles (cutely named frickles here) are top notch. The menu is pretty eclectic. I really like the sporty and relaxed atmosphere.Parking: Not a huge parking lot but sufficient ?“

“Pound for pound the best restaurant I have been to in the greater metro Detroit area! I had my valentine's day dinner here and it blew my expectations out of the water. First, our server Katie was fantastic, she knew everything on the menu and guided us in every correct direction when we were torn between our options. We started with the bread, skate cheeks, and beef tartare. The bread had two wonderful butters (sumac & chive)... the sumac butter was out of this world. The skate cheeks had a wonderful dusting of seasoning on them and the tartar sauce was amazing... not overly pungent. The beef tartare was super high quality and I loved the creme fraiche to balance the steak. For our entrees, we had the lamb burger and short rib. The lamb burger had a rich onion jam and the burger was still juicy even though it was order medium well. The short ribs were to die for and the trumpet mushroom was cooked to perfection. For dessert we had the orange ice cream/sorbet, as someone who is not a dessert person this blew my mind. I can keep going on and on... but this restaurant truly should be on anyone's radar who is looking for a great restaurant in the Detroit area... I will be recommending to everyone“

“Just picked up a bottle of straight bourbon whiskey. I’m traveling /working . Picked up the bottle from Sam’s club lol. But lemme tell ya !! It’s great !!! Smooth tasty and quality stuff . “First of I would like to say compliments to the chef!! This place came recommended by the fellow yelper and it did not disappoint. We made a reservation for Saturday evening, place was not packed we were seated in the downstairs area by the bar clean neat decor with NOLA vibes. Our server was great she recommended the oysters based on your preference and suggested the beef tartar as an appetizer. For main dish we opted for shrimp risotto and chefs special that evening was sea-bass with crusted vegetables. Outstanding fish was buttery and flaky and risotto had ton of flavor. Dessert was an interesting combination of sponge cake soaked up with caramelized pears just wow!! They also have a live jazz music upstairs. Great experience absolutely worse a drive. Will be back to try more dishes“

“There were 3 of us and we all ordered at the same time. I ordered a salad with salmon, the two people I was with had egg plates and were completely done eating by the time my food finally came out. A bit disheartening they then had to wait for me to finish and I rushed to eat. We finished our drinks and were never asked if we wanted another. Either they put our food in wrong or they were short staff but still frustrating. We didn’t go until 1PM they were not overly busy.“

“Sat at the bar with a friend, had great friendly service. My friend had the cherry mojito it was AMAZING! I had a blueberry gin cocktail I forgot what it was called but it was also very delicious. We split 6 oysters very fresh and very tasty. I will definitely return great atmosphere“

“Went to petty cash last night and honestly I can’t wait to go again! We sat at the bar and had great service! The lemon drops we had were great and consistent, considering we had 3 they taste the same each time! EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS DELICIOUS. Caesar salad, crab cake, lamb ribs (top tier), fries, Brussel sprouts, and pita chips and dip. Our food arrived hot and within a timely manner. The ambiance was nice! Parking was fair. Pricing was reasonable. I love that the music was on and at mid volume. It wasn’t so loud that I couldn’t hear the person next to me. The bathrooms were clean and unisex. 10/10“
