“A buddy and I were traveling from Detroit to Chicago and needed breakfast early in the morning. By chance, we found this place from Google Maps.
This turned out to be a great find. The omelets were great, serving size generous and price was right. Our server was friendly and efficient! The restaurant itself was neat in a quaint downtown. Well worth the stop.”

“I go to the COOP for Gizzards and Clam Strips.
They were excellent again, today. The gizzards were fresh and fried perfectly.
The person taking my order was friendly and efficient, with a fine attitude and sincere smile.
There's two improvements that need to be made.
They have to bring the big board back with the menu and prices. They only have two small menus on the counter, causing customers to take additional time at the register to select choices, then order.
The other change is to bring back the Texas Pete Hot sauce. I put that st_ff on everything! The sauce in the packets adds little flavor to the chicken.
If they make those updates, I'm adding the fifth star for atmosphere!
Kid-friendliness: Kids are evil.
Make them stay in the car.”
“If you're a beer enthusiastic, you need to get to this brewery! The Soursmith Kriek was one of the best US sours I've had. Similarly, the Red Raspberry is terrific and the Black Raspberry (almost a 4.5 rating on Untappd!) was outstanding. During my July 4 visit, they also had an excellent Pale Ale (collab with Livery) and a very pleasing Cherry Wit. I was also VERY pleased with The Olde Ways, a Belgian Dark Strong. Thanks to Andy at Arclight for suggesting this one!
I got to meet owner Dave and learned that they're aging the sours in custom built Foeders at another facility across the street. The Kriek was aged for 13 months and that effort shows up in the final product. Dave was a lot of fun to chat with and we also really enjoyed hearing from Andy, who served our beers on our first visit (we came back the following day for more!). Andy's passion and knowledge were fully on display.
Best of all, everyone I was traveling with really enjoyed the place! None of them was a beer geek but everyone found something they loved. And we ate some terrific pizza from the restaurant across the street (Local 3) while we relaxed on the patio.
Last thought - if they ever do a Gueuze I'm going to book a hotel and hang out here for a few days! Dave suggested that might be a possibility at some point, but they're knocking their current stuff out of the park.”
“Best pies EVER! My favorite is the Blueberry pie! However every flavor I have tried has been phenomenal! Put it on your must do list when you are in the area!”

“Such a quaint old style diner that has great prices, amazing food and amazing service. I stop there every time I'm in the area.
Parking: Easy entry for handicap but their restrooms are old so difficult for anyone with a walker.
Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is fine and plenty of seating that would be comfortable for those using a wheelchair or walker. Their restrooms are not large enough however as the restaurant was built 40+ years ago.”
“It was wonderful, first time there and will definitely be back”

“I've visited many times, always had excellent service and food is fantastic! We regularly visit on weekends to get some carnita meat to take home for the week. Would recommend trying if you love authentic Mexican food!
Dietary restrictions: I have several food allergies and they have ways been very kind and accommodating!”
“Years ago, I found JB Dough. I was probably invited for dinner more times than not when I said I would bring the bread! When I moved to NC, I found it again! How did I manage in between, I'll never know. It is the best. Onion/Dill smells incredible while baking and disappears rapidly when almost cooled.!One thing: On the Cinnamon Bread Mix, I don't know if it was done with the purpose of making sure we read ALL the instructions, but read the front of the package through and get a laugh.Thank you for still being here!”

“we have been going for over 25 years. we drive all the way from Portage. for the new owners, what did you change on the pizza? my wife thinks it's the sausage. I think it's the sauce. it's still good but not the same.”

“One of the few breakfast/lunch places in the Sister Lakes area. Decent food and nice people. Basic egg and breakfast dishes (omlets, skillets, pancakes, etc.), along with lunch offerings. Gets crowded on the weekends, so plan on waiting for a while to get a table.”

“What a pleasant experience! The owner and employee make you feel at home! Cute, clean, and well-suited coffee shop! Menu is expansive! I love watching people create beverages with care and precision and the owner did just that. I was recommended an iced latte with a vanilla-hazelnut sweet cream and was very satisfied with the outcome. I realize it isn’t hard to make something so seemingly simple but people just don’t craft their drinks like this place does! I don’t live anywhere nearby (literally 400 miles away) but I will make a special trip and find an excuse to go in this direction for this crafted beverage again. Can’t wait to be hungry to try the sausage and gravy breakfast! Thank you for putting your heart into what you do. It shows. Will be back!”
