“My bartender, think his name was Jack, absolutely a gem. My partner and I have OCD and we are super anxious about it. Jack was so patient with us and nice about everything. Atmosphere is so cute and nice with heated outdoor patio area. I'm a regular at the Corktown one. This one is super cute. Great date spot or for family gatherings, or just drinking by yourself and catching up on emails. Ask for Jack. He's a total sweetheart and stand-up dude.“
“I retired from BASF and had lunch here often and it was consistently very good. I went recently for dinner and the food and atmosphere was as remembered. I had to knock the service a little for being slow but in their defense I was in a group of 11.Parking: Parking on the street is best but very limited. There is a large lot in the back.“

“I was in a party of 9 on a lunch outing with coworkers, and one restaurant down the street let us sit for about 30 minutes with no service. We called Whiskey's to see if they could accommodate us. They enthusiastically stated they could! We got seated right away, the waiter was enthusiastic and very friendly. We loved the atmosphere; the food was great. We were all happy with our lunch!“
“We're semi-regulars here, as there's limited local options. We always have good service from wait staff. The food is usually 'good', not great. Excellent coffee-not motor-oil dark like most diners. I personally love the encrusted French toast. The cost of the food is high, but not outrageous. The restrooms need some attention. Lastly, like many local diners are starting to do--expect to get the gouge for using your credit card to pay. Which for @ 80% of Americans, that's how we conduct sales transactions anymore. Annoying beyond description, dare I state the obvious?: the credit card processing cost is ALREADY built into the pricing structure for the food here. Hence the prices. Gouging the customers who use a credit card to pay for their meal with an additional 3-4% is outlandish. Why doesn't the owner offer a 'cash discount' of 3-4%, and forego the credit card fee instead? Overall, I recommend going here. I like it, but I don't love it. The personal service of several of the long-term waitresses alone is worth the visit.“
“Our usual server, Erin, makes this place our go to for family dinners. The food has been AMAZING since the new ownership, but Erin’s service has made Sports a standout for our family. She is quick to attend to our needs, and she’s always extra kind and attentive to our son and our dog (when the patio is open). I highly recommend Sports for anyone who loves good food and good service.“
“The food is good and reasonably priced. It's a nice bar with a quiet section with tables to dine at. The hamburgers are very good and the crack fries are delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: It's very easy to get in the door and maneuver around the tables and bar but the bathroom is definitely not accessible. There's barely enough room for a mobile person to get into the stall a walker won't fit and a wheelchair is a definite no-go.“
“The restaurant is clean with friendly staff. The fish was really good,but I would pass on the Cole slaw. I guess we must have had a new waitress as other servers had to take care of us. She only came yo our table once after serving. It was not busy. We will try it again.“
“I didn't mind the Fish Fry, Cod, Dinner. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rank it as a 7. However, my husband didn't like it. Plus, he didn't think they gave you enough. The menu online needs to be updated. Prices didn't match how much items were. Plus, I asked about one of the items and they don't serve it. So that was a disappointment. I order chicken tenders for the kids. They didn't hardly eat any of it, including the fries.So for almost $40. This was a one timer for us. Not an easy parking lot to get into. When you exit, you can't go left. You will have to circle around and go out another way. It was loud. The server was nice.“
“We made reservations for 10 people on a Friday night without a problem, and were honored to have Kennedy be our server. She did a fantastic job getting all the food and drinks out timely and correctly with a smile and took the time to joke with all of us and divide all the bills correctly...that is huge in itself.We can't say enough about how good everyone's meals were. They ranged from onion soup to fish dinners to Philly steak sandwiches to chicken parm. Everyone kept saying how good and hot their meal was. The cocktails are in small glasses but they come with a kick! Good job to the bartender!You might wonder why I am giving 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere but only 4 stars for overall. That is because the only complaint all of us had was that the music was terribly loud and the speaker was above our table. We could not hear each other talk. That made it very hard to visit with people we hadn't seen a long time. For that reason, I had to take a star away.It was a great date night and we look forward to a return visit.“

“I went to The Speedboat last night with my sister. We had a wonderful time. It was karaoke night, and the host was happy to play almost every request that we had. There was one song I wanted that was not in his catalog, but I found something else that I could sing. I hope to go there again one day.we wanted to try appetizers, but we arrived too late, and the kitchen was closed. If you're looking for a fun place to spend a Saturday night, this is it!“
