Light crispy white fish and hand cut seasoned fries were great with a Sam Adams.Also had good ol'e standard American cheeseburger and was very well made. Perfect grill patty with standard fixings was right on point. Wife has had salads along with a chicken wrap and I have to say all looked and according to her tasted as good as my meals.Always clean floors and atmosphere is welcoming. “My husband and I checked this out for lunch recently. The menu choices are well displayed for easy ordering. The server/order taker was knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful and friendly. We both got the #3 - 2 chicken fingers and choice of one slider. He got the angus beef slider. I got the big saavy signature slider with the 2 chicken fingers. Fries were crispy and hot. The big saavy slider was so filling, I’d recommend it for people with big appetites. It was almost a meal in itself for me. We didn’t get any shakes, but they all looked amazing. A steady stream of customers came in. A lot of the customers were carry outs. A few customers ate in (like we did). Dining room is super clean, well lit. We definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back.“

My children ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes, and the very sweet waitress made a smiley face with whipped cream (after asking permission). “My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club on June 24, 2023. We were thrilled with how friendly and accommodating all of the staff was during our wedding day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how the food was delicious and how they loved talking to our bartenders. The venue also accommodated some of our guest's dietary restrictions and our bar menu. We planned our event with Debbie. She was helpful and organized. She couldn't make it on our special day, so Nancy filled in during our rehearsal and wedding day. Nancy was also very helpful, accommodating, and kind. The ceremony space was beautiful! It included an arch with white flowers and greenery draped over it. Our only complaint was how hot the reception hall was. Some of the guests said they were comfortable with the temperature. It was a very hot and humid day outside. The building is a little bit older so it was difficult to regulate the temperature. Overall, the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our package included two entrees at the buffet, a wedding cake, table linens, and bar. The price was perfect for everything included in our package. The location is close to the airport and great for having a ceremony/reception at the same venue. We couldn't be happier with our choice!“

This was the biggest surprise. Simply did not expect food this good here. Good beer choices too. A variety of local (Michigan) craft beers on tap. The waitress was a little grumpy, but everyone has a bad day. Service was still very good, but no service with a smile. I personally love the encrusted French toast. The cost of the food is high, but not outrageous. The restrooms need some attention. Lastly, like many local diners are starting to do--expect to get the gouge for using your credit card to pay. Which for @ 80% of Americans, that's how we conduct sales transactions anymore. Annoying beyond description, dare I state the obvious?: the credit card processing cost is ALREADY built into the pricing structure for the food here. Hence the prices. Gouging the customers who use a credit card to pay for their meal with an additional 3-4% is outlandish. Why doesn't the owner offer a 'cash discount' of 3-4%, and forego the credit card fee instead? Overall, I recommend going here. I like it, but I don't love it. The personal service of several of the long-term waitresses alone is worth the visit.“
