“I don’t think I’ve visited a Blimpie before this, and I have to admit that I’m usually more fond of hot sandwiches (which they also have). That being said, I was happy with the Blimpie Best sandwich I had here. The staff seemed friendly enough, and I had no problem with the sandwich itself. It all tasted fresh and meaty with some herbs and vinegar. The interior is quite basic, but it’s fast food so that’s expected. It very much reminded me of a 90s fast food place I used to work at. Still, the food was good and cheap.”

“I called this morning needing a special request for cupcakes for a birthday today and they were sooooo accommodating! The person who answered the phone seemed so happy to help! She took my order and offered to have them ready pretty quickly. I picked them up this afternoon. THEY WERE GORGEOUS 😍! You have a customer for life. “We recently dined at Public Restaurant and we were thoroughly impressed by several standout dishes and cocktails.

The Southern Shrimp Beignets were a delightful start to the meal. These savory beignets, complemented by hot honey, blue crab, and pimento cheese, offered a blend of flavors that set the tone for the evening.

The Public Prime Cheeseburger was a testament to classic comfort food done right. Served on a pretzel bun with a choice of cheese and accompanied by hand-cut fries, it was both satisfying and flavorful.

The Maple Basted Scottish Salmon was paired with butternut squash, whipped goat cheese, bacon-onion jam, and finished with maple brown butter, each bite was a delightful combination of sweet and savory.

The Midwest Wedge salad was refreshing and delightful. Topped with buttermilk ranch dressing, candied bacon, red onion, tomato, and crumbled bleu cheese, it provided a crisp and flavorful balance to the meal.

Public Restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual and special occasions. The attentive service further enhanced the dining experience. The waitress came by to refill our waters several times throughout the service (even if they were slightly less full).

“Service here was quick and friendly. Barista had a relationship built with client before me and clearly cared about his and his daughter’s personal lives. I ordered the Miel. I wish the flavors had been stronger, but it still tasted good.The establishment itself is rather small but makes good use of the space it has with multiple tables there as well having a cozy sofa and booth for seating.There is a selection of baked goods and board games to play as well. I hope to return and raise my rating to 5 stars next time.

Parking: There’s a public parking lot down the street but not parking directly in front of the establishment.”
