“We had a great visit to the Holland Olive Garden last night. We were able to add our name to the waitlist on the app on our way there which was so easy! The wait was reasonable even tho it was friday night and we had a glass of wine at the bar while we waited.

Sarah was a wonderful server! We enjoyed calamari for an app which was delicious. I also can’t recommend the Chicken Gnocchi soup enough. It was so good!!! We had plenty of pasta leftover to take home. YUM”

The place have a beautiful to the Eighth Street and the restroom is clean.”

“My husband and I love this coffee shop. Just went there for our first time and it has the perfect atmosphere along with really yummy coffee drinks. The atmosphere was cozy, clean and very unique. We love all the books displayed around and the art supplies you can purchase. Very clean too which is nice from the bathrooms to the main seating area. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I would choose this coffee shop over most in Michigan. Highly recommend!”

They said they just reopened 5 weeks ago after being covid shut down. the old place was 2-3 times bigger. only seated about 40 w the bar but no problem. That way they're always busy & doing well. I had the bourbonator, wife had the Crown & Anchor burger. both came w fries and pickle spear. The burgers were perfect, the toppings were phenomenal! We're very picky these days paying today's prices and they sure delivered! Our server was awesome! I asked for her recommendations and they were spot on. She was fun & checked on us just enough but not buggy. *****!”

As for myself, I also love Captain Sundae and recommend the Captain Payday for non-canine customers. Tommy Turtle or the Captain Coconut are good change of pace options though!”

“We go every other Sunday evening but that ends now! this location is disgusting, it's dirty and on super bowl Sunday the floors where so slick my abled body almost became disabled from a fall and not one employee seemed to care or even bother to get a slippery floor sign. This is a direct failure in management as they are not concerned about the conditions of the restaurant. Our family of 7 will not be returning and warning everyone to stay away until new management is brought in and a very very deep cleaning is done!!!”

Don't dilly dally on your way to pick it up. I only found out it was dog friendly after the fact. I left my dog in my car and was stressed about leaving her. There is a dog friendly beach right across the street. I suggest they put a sign up on the restaurant about the dogs... if if is intact dog friendly? That is my one and only critique.”

“Had a great time here last night! After an amazing high school soccer game we went here to celebrate and called ahead to let them know we were coming. The restaurant was kind enough to let us (about 30 people) get drinks and food for our kids, even though they were closing in 30 minutes! Everything came out quickly and the employees were very kind, polite and patient with us (even with all the separate checks we had). Drinks were good and the food was delicious! Will be going back there again!”

“This was my first time being at the bakery. I ordered vanilla sponge cake with strawberry filling and fruit on top. The cake was incredible! The sponge was light, perfect amount of filling, and the fresh fruit was so good. The whipped cream frosting was light with chocolate drizzle. It was perfect! “Great coffee in a calming atmosphere with lots of seating options. A good place to study or just hang out with friends. I do hope that they are able to find more baristas soon, though. Maybe they already have, but a few weeks ago I came in and there were 2 baristas. One had to leave bc it was presumably the end of her shift. This left one barista (I think Natalie was her name) to help a long line of customers all by herself. She did amazing but I sincerely hope that she doesn't have to continue working alone; especially when it there's a rush like that.”

“My girlfriend and I recently dined at Mr. You Chinese Food, and we had an amazing experience. She ordered the Orange Chicken, while I went for the Szechuan Shrimp, and both dishes were fantastic. The portion sizes were more than generous, easily filling us both. The Orange Chicken was spot on — a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and the pork fried rice that came with it was absolutely wonderful.

As for the Szechuan Shrimp, it was delicious, though a bit on the salty side. Still, the flavor was tremendous, and the ratio of shrimp, rice, and vegetables was just right. I opted for the shrimp fried rice with mine, and it complemented the dish perfectly.

One thing to note: there’s not much in the way of staff interaction beyond placing your order, and I feel like the restaurant could benefit from its own standalone building instead of being attached to a gas station. It creates a bit of an odd vibe. That said, the food more than makes up for it, and we’ll definitely be back!”

Never had a problem with the food or the workers at all, sure you might have to wait a minute if there is only one worker there but give them a break.Only negative id say was a new worker from this week that took 15 mins to make my sub but not his fault at all. He seemed very new and nervous and was having a hard time and I did not see a single manager around to help and there was a line forming. Poor guy had it rough.”
