“First off, they have nicely displayed rolled rags for paper towels in the bathroom… not only that, but incense sticks for fragrant… menu cater to vegan, vegetarian and gluten free…their sweet and sour sauce is LEGIT. I’m vegan and their fried bean sprout tofu was phenomenal. Just not spicy enough but said they could’ve made it much spicier. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. 10/10”

“The cutest hidden gem around!! 1950s themed small diner with murals, classic car models, and more! Classic diner menu, delicious foods, light menu for 10 and under and 65+. Extremely affordable and hands down the best, and largest, meatball mushroom special!
For those that struggle to find it has a neon pink lettering on the window.

Parking: Along the downtown strip with mainly parallel parking. There is a few parking lots nearby but it would be a jaunt.

Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! Very friendly staff and other restaurant goers!

Wheelchair accessibility: May be a tight squeeze for a wheelchair br definitely doable!”

“Good wine and that is coming from somebody that is more of a beer guy. Granted, this review is influenced by my wife who is a wine gal. Really though, this was a great winery that had good pours on a Monday afternoon while traveling. I like that they had a port tawny available. I also liked that they had a variety of different types of pours/flights.”

“I am a relative newcomer to Alexandria. Country Blossom Farm is one of my go to places. Today I bought and baked their Chicken Pot Pie. Incredible! Flaky crust, beautifully cooked veggies and well seasoned chicken. Worth every penny. It’s like going back in time when I got off the school bus and into Mom’s kitchen and smelled fresh bread or pie.”

“Stopped in the bakery for a treat. We had never been in the bakery before, or never been to Alexandria before either. It smells so delicious in there. We bought two lemon Napoleons, we shared one for our treat and saved the other for next day. They were so flaky, lemony and delicious !!! Thank you Roers bakery for the good treats.”

“Today is the start of the Common Ground Coffee and Soup House!! First soup 🍜 bowl I am trying is the Broccoli, Ham and Cheese Soup. The flavor is great! I would give the soup a 8.5 and the only change would be to use a different type of cheese. Not all cheese should be used in soups or for melting purposes… but the flavor is definitely there!! Awesome!! Second soup I am trying right now is Chicken Wild Rice Soup! OMG this is AWESOME!! The flavor is great, it has vegetables you can see and taste and that adds to the flavor! Definitely a 9.5+! Two more new ones to try but I will in a bit! Come and sample, soups are free today!! I have had three different ones before this and they were all awesome!! So happy Bill started serving soup!!”

“A full size cake at a celebration of life event was beautiful and tasty. I asked where it was from, the Alexandria Wal-Mart Bakery! Amazed at the quality. She said they ordered and paid on line, so a friend in town picked it up and brought it out to the event center.”

“Food was good as always but there is one issue. We called in earlier this week about getting reservations for tonight and were told twice that you weren't doing reservations this year and it was first come first serve. So we showed up and found out there were reservations. I don't know what the case was on that but should probably make sure host/hostess know that information.”

“Logan was a helpful cashier and made some meal adjustment recommendations that were delicious (i.e. subbing cheddar cheese on a butter burger). Bathrooms are nice and clean (and decorated festive for holidays). It was absolutely jam-packed and there was nowhere to sit or stand.”

“Came in on a busy night without reservations so we sat at bar. Bartender was very friendly and provided great service the whole night. I ordered the Walnut Chicken Salad and it was delicious. Very fresh. Staff has a great vibe going and all seem to be enjoying themselves, which makes for a positive experience. Can't wait to go back!”

“We were there in a different capacity. My company had their Christmas party there. The food and staff that served the food was phenomenal. It was buffet style about 50 individuals they made the perfect amount everyone got enough to eat. Now the company paid for the meal but we paid for our drinks which to me was a little on the spendy side. $2 for a pop and $4 for a beer. The bar staff was a little rude but we only had 1 for the entire group so she just might have been tired. All in all I love the V.

Parking: Parking can be a pill they do have an over flow lot across the street.”

“Stopped here as I was passing through. Seems like it could be a busy place. Drive up line moved quicker than I was expecting. Girl taking order was nice and easy to understand, friendly at the window too. Food came quickly after paying and was correct. Everything was hot and was as it should be.”
