“My wife and I went to Jasmine 26 on a whim and we could not be happier with our decision. The staff is amazing and the food was wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had so much fun creating our hot pots and enjoying all the restaurant had to offer. We brought our 3 teenage boys the following week and they all loved it as well.My wife loved the lamb. My seafood loving son really enjoyed the shrimp and scallops. I really enjoyed all the veggies and mushrooms and how they took on the flavor of the soup. We will definitely be back.“
“We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. You can make nearly unlimited choices in Chinese veggies & meats.“
“For people who don’t know much about hot pot this is the place to go.Let them make the pot! They have a wide variety of pots to choose from. The broth is simple and flavorful. You also get more miso base to enhance your broth for free. My pot was a glorious concoction of dumplings, kimchi, seafood, beef, egg and vegetables. Oh my damn! It was so filling and the flavor kept me eating even after half way through I was full!!Get some pot today at Tasty Pot!!! YUM“
“The food here is consistently good with a variety of options, and they offer a generous sauce/toppings bar to customize the flavor of your hot pot. Theres also a bubble tea place in the same building, so it's nice to get afterwards as a dessert. The only real major issue was the last time we went, service was incredibly slow (45+ minutes to receive some preprepared ingredients and the soup base), and it was not very busy. Usually it doesn't take as long, so maybe just a one-time issue. Also, you can request a specific spice level; they're generally less spicy than you'd expect, so I'd recommend going a level higher than what you would generally get.Parking: Parking is in Dinkytown, so finding parking can be a bit difficult/chaotic when it's busy. Also, you will need to pay for parking.“
“Just wanted to jump on here and leave a review after having a good experience. I have lived in Bloomington for 6 years and have eatin at this place a handful of times and not been overly excited about the food. I’m not sure if I had been ordering the wrong stuff but tonight I randomly stopped in again for dinner and was very shocked at how delicious our dinner was. We had Apps: Spicy Dumplings, Hot and Sour soup, Wonton Soup. Entrees: Mongolian Beef, and Orange Chicken. The spicy dumplings seemed authentic and incredible, and both of the entrees tasted very fresh and delicious. Washed it all down with some jasmine tea. I’m not sure if they have new cooks or what but the food was very good tonight.“
