“Tried the chicken (queso) burrito with peco degalo,green sauce,fried rice, corn,beans,refried & a few dashes of green bottle smoked tobasco.
I must say was pleasantly surprised how much more authentic it was compared to chipotle. Make sure you come hungry and order chips to use as a fork. You'll be happy you did.
I will most definitely be eating here again in the future.”

“Jay's has amazing food, the pizza is one of a kind and priced extremely fair. The variety of games keep my kids entertained for hours on end. My 3 kids age range from 10-14 years old and they Love hanging out here, as do I. The game prices are the cheapest I've ever seen anywhere. Staff is always working hard and extremely kind. Highly recommend this as a #1 spot in town to go.”

“My wife and I had dinner with some friends here on a snowy night in January. She had the Cola braised beef short rib, which was excellent, but I think I "won" dinner with the Halibut special-- a portion of halibut over mashed potatoes which were in turn over a mixed-green salad. It sounds a little odd and I was vaguely surprised when our server delivered it, but it turned out to be a good surprise! The salad, fish, and potatoes made every bite flavorful!

A few things stood out to us tonight:
- overall, it was a really positive sit-down experience-- our waiter was attentive, but not too attentive. She made sure our beers and waters were full, but didn't overly interrupt dinner
- we got seated right away and the booth and decor were comfortable and friendly. The "rock cribs" were kind of a fun thing to look at.
- And finally, the food, of course. Everything was tasty and delicious. I can't remember what our friends had, but overall, we'd definitely go back when we're in-town!

“On a weekend visit to Brainerd we found this winery. It was an amazing experience. The owners, Jodi and Dennis were both amazing hosts and even gave us a private tour of their facility. The food was excellent including the escargot. We got the meat and cheese tray and their Chardonnay. We even brought home a case of it. I highly recommend this place and if we’re in the area again, we’ll be making this place a priority stop!”

“We always go to Wings Airport Cafe when in the area! Just a classic diner/cafe with no frills, good service, and good food! They have some notable menu items like the wild rice blueberry pancakes, and warm caramel rolls. Look out the big windows and see the airplanes parked out back.”

“CC’s bar has an excellent private event space that is ideal for 99 people or less. We rented their event space on a Saturday and the event went incredibly well. Thank you to CC and Isaac for hosting us.”

“a girls trip based around coffee flights landed us here. We got to talk to one of the owners, she was very nice and informative. We are already making plans to visit in the summer to try another style of flights!”

“We got in later on a Friday night. After unpacking our bags, we decided to find a place to eat and this was just down the street from where our room was. I think we walked in the door around 8:00 p.m. as a matter of fact. Had two young guys working that night and it was pretty quiet as far as people inside the restaurant were concerned. I think they were busy doing to-go orders though. Very nice staff and they were quick to get our order made and out to us. Always enjoy service with a smile which seems to be a rarity these days. Pizza was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. I loved how you could get exactly what you wanted on the pizza and so I ordered some artichoke hearts. So much food we couldn't finish our pizza, so we took some home with us that night. Would definitely eat here again when I'm around there.”

“So a guy from Pine City goes into this place and over a weekend, has new friends and a lot of fun memories. Just talking with the old timers and the locals. I can’t say enough about the bar, the bartenders, the karaoke and the locals that hang out as well as the out of towers like me. Would never think of going to Brainerd without stopping in”

“We love Giovanni's and we're so glad to hear they had come back. We love their food and greatly appreciate the delivery aspect of the restaurant as well. However, we do wish they would stick the hours posted on Google and their doors. Sometimes we will find that they've closed a few hours early. Their buffet is also great but we find that when we go, they don't have any of the classic pepperoni, beef/sausage, or just cheese out very often. We love Gio's and hope to continue enjoying them often. P.S. the fruit pizzas are missed :)”
