“Went for lunch today, food was very tasty with good size portions. I had the Vallarta Fajitas and skillet was filled with a huge helping of meat and veggies. I could only eat half, so great leftovers. My wife had the Burrito Tejanos. I just ate her leftovers. So good. She said she would definitely order it again. Our Older Uncle had his first Chimichangas and loved them. I had the lime margarita and it didn’t disappoint. We are going to return soon for happy hour Thursday with a designated driver.”

“So a guy from Pine City goes into this place and over a weekend, has new friends and a lot of fun memories. Just talking with the old timers and the locals. I can’t say enough about the bar, the bartenders, the karaoke and the locals that hang out as well as the out of towers like me. Would never think of going to Brainerd without stopping in”

“We’d had a day full of errands in and around the Brainerd area. By late afternoon we still had our Costco trip ahead of us, but we were both feeling spent and weary from the day. We decided to look for a new happy hour location in Brainerd and found B Merri. The online reviews looked promising, and there were some vegetarian items on the menu so we blew off the Costco trip, crossed our fingers and headed north out of town.
The vibe was exactly what we were looking for, and the staff was friendly. Our waitress, Hannah, was devoted to making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she offered us samples of IPAs she thought we might like (We did!) Our favorite was an IPA called “Old geezer” or something like that. Bright and refreshing. Hannah recommended the bruschetta platter. It was gorgeous and delicious. Quality shaved parm, fresh cherry tomatoes, halved and drizzled with balsamic, little baby smoked mozzarella balls, caramelized onions, fresh pesto with slices of bread that were soft and perfectly toasted with a light crunch. The chef made a specialty sandwich for us out of portabellas and Hannah recommended the sweet potato fries for the side. I cannot remember ever having better. Crispy and flavorful with a yummy sauce for dipping.

“We love Giovanni's and we're so glad to hear they had come back. We love their food and greatly appreciate the delivery aspect of the restaurant as well. However, we do wish they would stick the hours posted on Google and their doors. Sometimes we will find that they've closed a few hours early. Their buffet is also great but we find that when we go, they don't have any of the classic pepperoni, beef/sausage, or just cheese out very often. We love Gio's and hope to continue enjoying them often. P.S. the fruit pizzas are missed :)”

“Absolutely one of our most favorite restaurants to go to. We travel little over an hour just to enjoy there always amazing hot food, great customer service and warming welcome as soon as you enter. No matter what we have ordered we have never been disappointed and there caramel and cinnamon rolls are always something we take home with us. I highly suggest the caramel or cinnamon roll as an absolute must!!”
