“We have been coming here for years and have always been very happy with the service and the food. The honey mustard that comes with the cheese curds is the best I’ve ever had! I never thought I would crave honey mustard, but theirs is absolutely amazing! There’s a good selection of food and beer. We also enjoy getting pull tabs at the bar (I won 100 bucks off of 5 dollars!)“

“Three of us went for a Sunday supper. I was greeted very nicely and my reservation was duly noted. The young man was super nice and I felt really welcomed. We had a booth in the very back which I think is probably the quietest. It was pretty quiet until it filled up. I am afraid there are no quiet places anymore, but it was okay. The food was very good and nicely presented and hot. Services by Frances was excellent. Enjoyed having her wait on us. The broasted chicken was quite imaginatively served and enjoyed. Fish and chips was just right and hot. We had a birthdate and got a sundae topped with a big sparkler. It did the trick and was so enjoyed by the birthday girl. Also everyone around us helped sing the birthday song. It was a delightful experience and we will come back.“

“This place is one of my favorites to eat at around Lunchtime when its not entirely busy during the weekdays. If you want a quiet environment with good food this is it. I highly suggest coming before the late afternoon lunch rush as it tends to be slower.Whoever is cooking the food does a phenomenal job, along with the onion rings always being crispy. The server was also friendly as well and despite me eating alone and being relatively quiet was super friendly. 100% gonna be a new lunch spot!“

“l’ve been going to Malone’s for a few years… I love it there and recommend it to everyone I know. The seasoned sour cream & waffle fries… don’t hesitate & say yes, it will literally restore your soul & bring you back to life. Their food never disappoints !“

“The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is because the chairs can be a bit uncomfortable, and it can be a bit noisy when busy. But my age (late 60s) may have a lot to do with those issues.Wheelchair accessibility: Short fairly steep ramp to get in, but not a huge problem. The parking lot has a bit of a slope too.“

“let me start by saying this place is absolutely gorgeous, such a clean and elegant design and a very spacious seating area. the staff are all very friendly and made me feel welcomed ! ? the FOOD though! SO GOOD!!! brussel sprouts are 11/10, and the pizza is AMAZING. i highly recommend the diesel pizza or try the pizza of the week!! one of my favorite restaurants to be at.“

“So far I've only been to try the Restaurant Week menu, but I can't wait to get back. The atmosphere is so lovely (think cozy, warm bistro), the staff are incredibly friendly and professional, and the food is delicious. They do have a parking lot, but it's small and does fill up fast, so you may need to park on the street. It's free, though, so not a problem at all.“

“Francis is AWESOME and I highly recommend it. I'm not vegan, but I can't have dairy, so it's such a relief to not have to check menu ingredients because I know I can have every single thing on the menu! Also, as someone who does eat meat, I am seriously blown away by how good their plant based burgers (and even their chicken nuggets!) are! Each menu item is well thought out and combines things I've never tried or thought to mix, and I'm happily surprised every time. Also, as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, this is my favorite spot for NA cocktails and beverages! They have dedicated drinks on the menu without alcohol (gotta try the "Beets Me", it's delicious), and can make many of their other drinks NA as well!P.S. their bathrooms are so coolVegetarian options: Everything is vegan!Dietary restrictions: Many of their menu items also have the option to be made gluten free (they have gluten free buns)Parking: There's always some amount of street parking. Depending on how busy it is, you may have to walk half a block, but I've never had an issue finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! They have high chairs available for younger kids, and I always see families eating there.“

“I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of the Swiss and mushroom burger that I ordered. It is very much male-centered here so if you don't mind that, come on thru. They have a lot of choices for fries, which is always exciting. We got the pretzel with the beer cheese and I don't know how I feel about the sauce. The pretzel was delicious though. So glad we were able to check this place out.“

“Every table was full at lunchtime on a Friday and I'm not surprised. The food and service were outstanding.I had a Founders porter and a DJ burger (customized). They let me special order to turn that DJ burger into a Plaza burger a la Annie's in Dinkytown - that's sourcream, raw onion, and pumpernickel. It was delicious, memorable! The porter paired perfectly with the burger. I got fries and they were great too. The place was full but our service was very good. The prices were even reasonable, $13 +/- for a sandwich.“

“Good bar food, good bar drink options, friendly staff. Maxine is the best! Popcorn and pull tabs, it kinda feels stuck in the 80's but sometimes that's a good thing. Besides, it's in Osseo which also seems like it's stuck in the 80's with the houses in the community being built in the 50's or older“

“Served family-style, we thoroughly enjoyed mushroom masala, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, peshawari naan, and a mango lassi to drink. Service was absolutely great. “The Schu abides. Nice remodel inside, patio with the water feature is very well done. If you go, looking for comfort food, and Mom's chicken pot pie is on the menu, they knock it out of the ball park. It's the best.Parking: Big parking lot. Plenty of room.“

“The vibe and experience was great. We ordered oysters, spaghetti Nero, scallops and the monkfish. We would recommend the spaghetti Nero, it was flavorful and filling. The other dishes seemed to be executed well but we didn’t like the flavor profiles and it may have needed a little bit more salt. The dessert was delicious. Overall , very good place to dine.“

“Great pinball bar for all ages. Most machines are 50 or 75 cents a play. Super well maintained machines that aren't set at super high replays. Uses quarters instead of tokens. Pretty good beer selection. Stop by soon for some fun. Limited parking in back and street parking.“

“Volstead's is a fun place with great drinks, great music, and delicious food. However, the entree portions are very small for the price. The market fish entree for $22 included maybe 4oz of fish and maybe a quarter cup of rice pilaf. The cornbread for $14 was about 7 inches in diameter. The server was slow to refill waters and run food. Go for drinks and the music, but eat dinner first.“
“We brought our puppy here for puppy play night. All the staff were so friendly, helpful, and attentive to any questions or issues we had! Such a fun and safe place to watch our puppy have fun as well. There are numerous options for purchase options as well, which is great for planning if we end up going here more or less often. Will be returning!“

“Nice buffet for lunch. Our server Barb was very friendly and took great care of us. The pizzas on the buffet were very good but several times we had to wait up to five minutes for fresh pizzas to be brought out.A little spendy for lunch but price does include a pepsi beverage which we didn't want. Would probably come back in the future as I do love Broadway Pizza!“

“It is interesting how often we forget the tried and true and rush to the new. The Tattersall distillery was forced by antiquated Minnesota liquor laws to move to Wisconsin if they wanted to increase production in their distillery. However, their tasting room in the Thorpe building in Northeast Minneapolis is still open. Instead of waiting hours at the "hot" new places, come on back to Tattersall. It was started in 2015, and has been going strong since then.We made reservations, but even on Saturday night we did not need them. We sat at the bar as usual, and the two bartenders were awesome. They were extremely knowledgeable about all the various spirits made by Tattersall, and we had little tastes of some of the new items as we ordered.I did a flight of their two new gins and their absinthe. I liked them a lot. One gin gets a two week aging in chardonnay barrels. This takes the hotness out of their original gin in a very nice way. It doesn't leave it oaky. Apparently it has won a number of awards in various competitions. The Rosso gin is new, and it is very good! Apparently they added rose petals and berries to their mix of botanicals. It is a very nice gin.We tried two cocktails. They change their cocktail menu every 3 months, so it is good to stop in and have a look. My husband had the Houndstooth, which is rye, amaro, meadowsweet, and black strap bitters. We saw a lot of them heading out to other customers. Their take on a classic gin-based negroni was really good. Their orange bitter liqueur, their amaro, and their sour cherry liqueurs gave it a cherry back note that was quite interesting. They only serve popcorn, pretzels, and beef jerky, but there was a pop up Asian restaurant in the Thorpe building if you wanted to get food. They also have a room where you can buy their spirits. Nice!At $12 and $13 for most drinks, it is also more affordable than the newer glitzy places. It was a super relaxing place for a cocktail. And I love not having to drive around in search of parking!“

“SteveO's Bar & Grill is a very nice place to hang out with friends and family. It's very spacious, parking is okay but when it's crowded you can park on the street. The menu was very attractive and my meal was done to perfection, The friend chicken ? is too-tier and well done with the right seasonings ? The staff was very friendly, their drink selection is up to par, and their mixed drinks are evenly keel. I will have to take my coworkers there soon. Bravo Zulu ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Stopped by for two drinks after dining at Kado no Mise. The dimly lit bar has minimal decor but that matters little.I ordered the old fashioned to start which intriguingly has fig in it. First of all, the cocktail is beautiful. The ice stamp that is used gives it a signature feel. I truly enjoyed this drink. The second drink I had featured cognac which is not a liquor I often consume but I was intrigued by the koji. The ice stamp used in this cocktail was also beautiful.“

“Travail is always such an incredible experience! The food, the drinks, the ambiance... All just amazing. Every dish is well-crafted and full of flavor, and the cocktails are all absolutely delicious. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and make every guest feel welcome. Plus, the space is so beautiful: it feels modern but also cozy, and the decor is very aesthetically pleasing.I have been here a handful of times to celebrate special events, all in the basement bar, and each time has been so great. I most recently went to UMAMI. The decorations were beautiful and I loved that they had Spirited Away playing in the background. The food really brought those incredible umami flavors to life. The attention to every detail is incredible and I'm always in awe each time I get to come here. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a unique and delicious food experience! It's a great place to celebrate a special night.“

“This is a hidden gem brunch spot. On Saturdays and Sundays between 10am to 3pm you can get a pretty good meal for around $15 and comes with a free drink. The indoor bar area is small and divey (which I personally love), so indoor seating is limited but they have a great (and large) outdoor patio area which is shared with the Cabooze next door. There is occasionally live music outside, as well.“

“This is one of our go-to restaurants in the North Loop! Their food is amazing, the chicken sandwich is to die for, and the Thr3 Jack burger is just as good as Parlour! “Food and service is phenomenal. Usually they have someplace to sit, but I recommend making reservations since sometimes they can get busy and don't have any seating available. I also like to sit in the separate dining area and the reservation guarantees I will get to sit there. The wings are some of the best I have had. Especially the Wing of the Moment. They are not afraid to bring some heat so be prepared for that! Fantastic burgers as well. They also make a great Reuben! The Becky from Philly was my favorite sandwich here - Please bring it back!!!Parking: Parking lot is right next to residential housing. “Great place for live music. Small main floor area with a balcony on all three sides. Sound system was very clean and the volume was not over-powering. Staff were all friendly. Drinks were good. Small food menu with decent burgers. Would definitely go back for more music! Parking is a little tricky. The instructions and app required for the ramp had several people confused. But that's not The Green Rooms fault!“
“Came in on my day off and ended up grabbing a beer at the bar, I sat next to the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in this place… goes by kat like meow. She held a great conversation, wasn’t pushy and let our time flow organically. She looked great on stage, in my lap and even better in VIP. Well worth every penny spent. She’s like the girl next door, and it was everything I had dreamed of. Will be back!!!!! I’m coming for my Kat ?“
“The Rusty Bumblebee in Blaine is a must-visit for any beer lover, offering an impressive selection of over 50 taps. My friends and I are definitely coming back to enjoy more of this comfortable atmosphere.“
“This is one of my favorite spots in N.E. especially on Friday nights. The bartenders are great, and the groups of people that are there are a very eclectic crowd. No judgment on any side, just people out for fun. And the drink prices are great.“

“Awesome door guy, who just got a pug. Chill vibe, other patrons were friendly, They have pull tabs and e tabs, makes it easy to be a charitable person. At least that's what I tell myself when I don't win. Hahaha. I give 4 stars on service, because the place was not busy and we had to wait for drinks and to pay. There is no reason why the bartender shouldn't hustle just cuz it's slow. They were nice enough, but come on person. Pep in step would be nice. The bar carries Pryes Royal Peach, which I love. A shot of Casamigos reposado was $15. Which is insanely steep, considering it cost less at the music venue I work at. I normally get Casadores, because it's not sweet, but Casamigos is an ok substitute. So, believe me when I say I know the average cost of this shot around town. Three other items I purchased were reasonably priced. But this $15 shot was just straight up insane. Whoever is doing the pricing needs to go out and do some scouting and check prices on stuff at other bars. That one is too much, especially cuz you're not a giant venue, stadium, or the airport. That being said, nice spot. Great patio. Would %100 recommend checking it out on your next NE bar crawl.“

“Simply exquisite. My partner and I came in expecting to be wowed and our expectations were 100% exceeded. From the start of service to the end, Demi staff were detailed, intentional, and kind. The cook on the duck was perfect--love the use of caraway seeds. The beef course had a gorgeous presentation and the cabbage roll was exciting and delicious. The temperance pairing was phenomenal. Having the demi 19 pairing with the with the beef was exactly as Laura (the bartender) put it, made me not miss wine.Thank you Demi for taking such good care of us and for giving us a night to remember!“

“The blues music dive bar of Minneapolis! Good bar food, great service, friendly patrons. Have had some pretty grumpy bartenders in the past (YEARS ago) but no bad experience now. The renovations are great - feels more open and brighter inside.I'm a huge fan of bar "pork tenderloin" sandwiches and couldn't resist ordering one during my last visit. It was really just a deep fried pork chop on a bun. Very delicious but not an actual pork tenderloin.Note: it is very loud when the band plays, do not go for a date night and expect to carry a conversation.NA option: Heineken 0.0“

“It’s the first Ethiopian restaurant in Minneapolis, MN since 1990. It’s located in a dangerous area and you got to watch your back. The “ghetto in the sky” is dominating the Minneapolis skyway on this side of town. The City of Minneapolis and mayor are true idiots for not preserving a great part of the city, and not turning it into a vibrant and cultural center. The city does not even allow free parking, and while you pay for parking you get get beat up or gunned down. Thank you Mayor! The Red Sea is great on the other side if you don’t get murdered on the way there. It’s like escaping war to get there, a true story. The restaurant has this cool African vibe. The incense they burn it’s cleaning, it bring your senses right into Africa, Ethiopia is a vibrant country with vibrant people. There is bar next door too playing Ethiopian modern tunes. There is a bar on the side of the restaurant too. The bar is busy too with African men who are actually nice and talkative. Some enjoy their cocktails others having Ethiopian coffee. The food is Very colorful and tasty. The dishes too are what you should expect from Ethiopian food ? Good people and the waitresses are calm and kind. I would say get the kinds of Ethiopian food that has the sauce in there. #19 is the bees chunks with the red sauce that makes it great for dipping. Their chicken dishes or lamb looks good too. You can ask for the Ethiopian ground spice to set your mouth on fire ? I did and I don’t even regret it. Cheers to the Ethiopian food and the vibrant culture ;)“

“Really fun restaurant! We tried the guacamole, chicken tacos and shrimp tacos. All were really good. Both the tacos did have spice to it so if you’re sensitive to spice I would be aware. The vibes were dark and cozy so a great place for a date night. I would definitely come back.“
“My expectations were probably too high walking in. The food was good, not as outstanding or as interesting as I would have thought. The grilled sea salt oyster on the way in was tasty. They brought us well prepared chicken, some sushi small bite, and other things I can't remember a month later that were enjoyable. The cake was dry and not worth the calories (or cost). The dietary restriction I indicated was missed but they were able to adjust in the moment. The atmosphere was lovely upstairs. We ate in the covered outdoor area at a shared table.“

They were swamped when we arrived, yet still provided exceptional service and got us a table pretty fast. The atmosphere was lively yet not too loud. “"A restaurant is a fantasy--a kind of living fantasy in which diners are the most important members of the cast." - Warner LeRoy Maison Margaux is such a living fantasy! Walking through the the front door, you instantly become part of a pulsating hipster vibe where sophisticated, discerning patrons are living their best lives, happily chatting and enjoining each other and extraordinary food in an urban wonderland. With a Moulin Rouge-ish inspired ambience downstairs, it's like a chic bodega. Everything was superb, but the best of the best follow: The short ribs were divine! Seemingly slow and low roasted, they melt in your mouth with a rich wine and beef flavor. The rack of lamb is equally extraordinary, and the presentation is beautiful.
