“I took the Barista 1 class here and I learned so much. The atmosphere is very laidback and the instructor was clearly passionate about the material. The attendees were diverse: some people were making coffee for themselves, some were baristas, some were opening coffee shops, ages ranged from 20s to 50s, some attendees wore shorts and tank tops, one was wearing an abaya and hijab and there were people of different genders, too. The instructor was unhurried and gentle in his instructions (never rushed or chastised anyone.) We made multiple shots of espresso and steamed milk a few times until we were comfortable with the process. In the pictures, you can see my first attempt at latte art (with a lot of help from the instructor!) The instructor also invited people to continue trying, even after the class was done. So it was a great value for the money. There was a lot of parking and it was easy to find the right entrance.“
“Drive thru was incorrect i ordered a double fish with cheese well done. What I got was a regular fish sandwich. I was willing to pay the diffence and wait for the mixup. The Drive thru MGR SHE listened understood was pleasant said no problem I understand and took care of it. She gave me my order still pleasant she apologize & said have a good day. Thank you for being you and making a difference ?“
“I used the drive thru and this was my first time at this location. Eric took my order, and was professional and fast. The card reader was down during my visit, but Eric helped me with the checkout process. He went the extra mile. He’s a great asset to Starbucks, and he made my day just a little brighter. Thank you Eric!“
“We are so lucky to have this beautiful place in Uptown. The hummus is entirely magical. And the food is delicious. We can’t wait to try it all!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a clear ramp on the side of the building giving easy access to the building“
“I ordered a king cake to take in to work- without a doubt the best one I’ve had, it melts in your mouth! The staff was exceptionally friendly and offered an extra cup of frosting. Great environment if you’re just looking for a place in Minneapolis to sit down with a cup of coffee and a treat too!“
“Run, don’t walk, to The Briar! Wow this place was so special (and dare I say the date capital of Minneapolis at night?)! This place has great cocktails, delicious food, the best atmosphere, and friendliest staff! It was such a treat to go to this small spot with two great friends and enjoy some sandwiches, chips, and soups. Absolutely loved this spot!“
“Stopped in to Cosmic Coffee the other morning on a whim, and believe I just may have found my new favorite coffee shop in NE. Cosmic Coffee feels like an old school coffee shop, the ones that were about people connecting with people. Actual real live PEOPLE!!! Not only was the coffee delicious- expertly prepared by Dusty-but it was so refreshing to be around people laughing, conversing and connecting not just working away on laptops. If you want a great cup of coffee in a cozy, warm space of brick, wood and eclectic decor that does not feel like a sterile white hipster tech haven, please please give Cosmic a visit! And I recommend a lavender mocha!!“
“Love swinging by before work. They usually get drinks to you pretty quickly, and they taste good! Their banana bread is killer too. I usually get the honey chai latte and a banana bread. It’s a nice vibe with lots of tables, it’s pretty quiet early in the morning but people definitely start filtering in as time goes by. It’s in a strip mall so you can walk to other places like saweetee.Parking is available around the back, just keep going past kingdom and take the first right“
“This location has been awesome. Quick to take my order and then quick to get it out to me. The mocha tasted divine. Even went out their way to speak with people who ordered oatmik with their coffee as they had to pull it due to packaging issues. Awesome service.“
