“I don't understand the hate and vitriol by other yelpers. I have not had a bad experience at this place and I have been to this location tons of times. The staff is always friendly and patient. And they have never skimped or messed up our order whether that is through the walk up window or drive thru. The blizzards are amazing!Yes - like everyone else, I wish they had more hot food options rather than just hot dogs & rotisserie chicken bites, but I am grateful that this location exists. There is some outdoor seating for nicer weather but being so close to a busy street next to multiple businesses, we prefer the drive thru.I also wish this location was open throughout the year but it is closed during winter months, so be warned if you are craving DQ during November thru February. I found that out the hard way.“
“Such a fun place! I can't believe it didn't have a Yelp page!!! We ventured through and wanted to get a treat! The ice cream is so yummy! I got the Yippy Skippy (anything with peanut butter is my jam!) and my crew got " This $!/- just for serious" (caramel overload of gooey goodness) and Kitty Kitty bang bang (raspberry Oreo cheesecake). All were exceptionally good! We will be back!“
“Me and my family went out to this amazing place for dinner my kids are in love, great atmosphere very friendly employees and all around a great experience, I can’t leave a review without mentioning my favorite part which is definitely the pistachio gelato it’s amazing and I definitely recommend BOGA!“
“The thing that I loved the most about this nice and cozy icecream shop is that the waffle cones are freshly made right there by them and they are wonderful. Icecream is good, staff is extremely friendly and I definitely wanna go back to try more flavors.Note number 1: For each scoop you get a free little bonus on the top.Note number 2: they don' t give samples so you cannot try the icecream before you buy it.“
“I realized today I haven't yet reviewed this place despite coming here for years. It's a great spot for working away from home or just hanging out. They serve a lot more than coffee. A wide selection of bakery and other food is available. You can't go wrong with any of the paninis. My favorite thing about The Twisted Oak is the layout. It seems that the average coffee shop these days is a sterile box. Just a big open space and homogenous interior. This place has some serious character. The upstairs, "the tree house", is essentially a two bedroom apartment where you can get away from other conversations to have your own space.Buy some merch and smash that like button.Parking: Located right on the corner so there are plenty of spots on the surrounding street. Even if there is an event downtown, there are two free lots nearby.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of booths to keep the little ones contained but they'll be occupied by the fun treats and games anyway.“
“Visited the shop on a busy Saturday afternoon. Ample parking available in the busy strip where the shop is located.Service was nice and friendly and the shop inside is very clean and nicely lit up.We got a couple of Ice-creams and shakes and everything tasted really good. They have a la la palooza challenge (icecream eating without time limit challenge) for about $20 where if you complete the challenge of eating their concoction of la la palooza, you can get your picture up on the wall of fame.“
“Wonderful little dessert shop specializing in fruit with ice cream. We enjoyed the Mangoneada and the Fresas con Crema. This is a perfect place to go for a date. Everyone was friendly. We went with friends with kids, and the staff were very patient as we figured out what we “
“This is our neighborhood store and we've never had anything but good experiences. But tonight I ordered a mini Reese's blizzard before realizing it is $5.00 for that tiny cup! So I figured it would be my last, but then the girls working gave me a cup with all ice cream and just a dusting of Reese's. We were waiting for my son's blizzard and no one was waiting, so I showed it to them and asked what happened, especially given how expensive it is. The 3 girls argued with me that "a mini gets one scoop" and there actually was candy, even if it couldn't be seen or tasted. Finally one admitted that it was the end of the day (it was 8:00), so the Reese's was almost empty. I asked if I could just have my money back and they gave me the refund with no problem. But I wish they had just said they were out instead of giving me an expensive cup of ice cream, then trying to convince me there was invisible candy. I know these are kids working and I don't usually complain, but this seems like something to mention and I know some people wouldn't be as patient, especially when being told they just couldn't see or taste it!“
“Best Dairy Queen in Saint Paul and surrounding cities. The banana splits are cheap and pretty big for what you pay. Workers are friendly, and this is owned by a nice couple. Only 4 stars because area is not great. They close early now at 8pm. Go when it's light out. Also, they accept tips. I tipped two bucks because these young workers deserve it. Grew up in the area and love that they're still open.“
“Great service, love the greatly light up ambiance and the awesome hospitality from the young men working tonight. Order ice cream flavor Machinac Island fudge on waffle cone, and a nice strawberry milkshake !Machinac Island fudge ice cream - very good vanilla fudge type ice cream with chocolate chips. Flavor very good nothing spectacular but very good ice cream.Strawberry milkshake- can't beat old school style milkshake. Creamy goodness with whip cream and a vanilla wafer on top. Not too sweet so it was perfect for a 23 degree evening here in the great state of MN.Love old style ice cream parlor where customer service is still value.“
“Best DQ I have ever been to, by far. Items are always incredible and as described - when you ask for extra "stuff" in your blizzard, they go all out! I love going during the week in the early AM hours as I believe it's a manager/owner that usually works the window then & he is incredibly kind and friendly. Also, most DQs locally open around 11am whereas this location opens by 10am, which is fantastic! The drive thru/parking lot set up is kind of cramped & there isn't an option to go inside which is a bummer, but this is through no fault of the owners as the lot is very small - I still find this DQ to be one of the best in the state. Highly recommend.“
“This place has amazing cookies. I'm not a fan of punching my own order into the computer, but the employees are always happy to help.Parking: It's plentiful.Kid-friendliness: The employees I have encountered there have always been friendly.“
“This store is amazing! It offers a large variety of candy, popcorn, popcorn tins, Abdallah chocolates, hand dipped ice cream with 16 flavors to choose from, fudge, bulk candies, and a lot more! The staff was super friendly and helpful. What a great experience! And the gourmet popcorn was delicious- try the cashew caramel!“
“Cute café with LOTS of cold treats. We arrived about 30 minutes to closing time so they were already cleaning up and putting chairs away. We had no idea what we wanted, as the variety is abundant, but overwhelming for any first time customers. I would have given 5 stars but the customer service could use a little work. It was a bit intimidating as there were no smiles from any of the three ladies who worked there. (Perhaps they were just ready to get out of there?) Regardless, we stood there looking clueless as we were unsure as to where to stand to start ordering. I pushed on to advise the ladies that it was our first time, asked my questions, and tried a few ice cream flavors before making our purchase. Overall, they make their own ice cream /frozen yogurt and have the BEST Mangonada I've ever tasted. The 3 ice cream flavors (Cotton Candy, Chocomint, Strawberry Cream) we tried were excellent and I like the fact that there are multiple sizes we can choose from. You can taste and see the quality of their ingredients. Although the staff could be a tad more welcoming, their goods are on another level so we'll definitely be back!“
“We don't order takeout from "fast food" businesses very often but this one was great. We ordered fish (walleye) dinners for three people like we did last year. Food and service were very good. Note: you will have different experiences depending on which location you visit since the stores are franchised. I could post the worst possible review of a totally different Culver's in a nearby city but I haven't decided whether I will do that. And that's why I have been venturing out and visiting the Culver's in Eagan.“
“Went for Ice Cream last Monday and got the cheesecake flavor which was delicious. The service was very good and employees were very nice especially Audrey who helped me with my order. It felt a little quiet with little customers but other than that a great experience all around!“
“When I walked in I was greeted and helped. They have a good range of different flavors and a lot of toppings ( toppings are free and you can put as much as you want). They also charge by the size and not weight which was very good. Great atmosphere as well.“
“My husband and I are obsessed with Crumbl and was a staple to our relationship for a very long time, so we had to make it a-part of our big day. We ordered 450 cookies via the Crumbl app and had no issues. They were ready at pick-up time and went smoothly. They were packaged in the bigger Crumbl catering boxes so easy transportation. These were a HUGE hit. We only had roughly 30 cookies left.“
“Wow. Surprised by all the negative reviews. I've gone thru the drive-thru at noon several times over several months and always for hotdogs. Never once have I ordered ice cream. The young ladies working there have been consistently friendly and unpretentious. Honestly I go back BECAUSE of them. I tip them because they probably ain't making shit for wages. The hotdogs aren't any different than any other DQ and are perfectly fine.“
“Staff members are consistently friendly and willing to help. Ordered online several times and every order has been correct and completed in a timely manner each time. Such a pleasant experience compared to other fast food places. Strongly recommended for high quality fast food.“
“We witnessed the staff being presented with a tough situation-an SUV full of people who took forever to order, then complained when their three huge bags of food didn’t come out fast enough for them. I have to commend the young people who were working today-I could see them working hard to get everything out in a timely manner. When our order came out, the young man at the window apologized for the delay (not necessary, it wasn’t his fault). I was very impressed with his poise and composure; it would have been easy to take the frustration out on the next customer, but he was friendly and polite.“
“I went to Culver's and ordered two meals, only to find that one of the burgers was missing when I got home. I called to alert them and they acknowledged their mistake and asked if I wanted to return for a replacement. I did (hangry) and they made a fresh mushroom Swiss burger that was missing upon my initial arrival. It would have been nice to have some other form of restitution as I had to make another trip to Culver's, but the food and service was outstanding and they were extremely apologetic. I ordered in the drive thru so I cannot comment on the ambiance of the restaurant, but in previous visits, it's always been great. I will definitely return in the future and will be sure to double check my order before leaving next time.“
