“Laid back environment. There were a couple of families with kids but definitely feel it’s more of an adult place. Great waitstaff. Good drinks. Fantastic food. Generous portions. Lots of side options.Parking: Shares a parking lot with other businesses. Was there on a Sunday at 5pm and had no problem getting a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: The feel is more adult. Bar atmosphere.“
“It is very rare that I go out of my way to write a review but I wanted to commend our server, Nicholas, who was an absolute joy. He was attentive, filled our drinks without missing a beat, and did it all with a very pleasant demeanor. On top of the wonderful service, our food was fabulous! After todays experience, we will definitely be coming back and asking for Nicholas. Thank you for a stellar experience!“
“The space is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The staff are SO nice. They are also dog friendly and where absolutely welcoming of my beast, even when she knocked over my drink. Even then they demanded we bring her back weekly. 100000/10 would recommend“
“First time here today for chess club meetup. I was greeted right away and the gentleman/owner was super nice and helpful. Fun yet low key environment that had cool decor with fun chairs, tables and keys on the wall. It was clean, they played good music, kinda like an upbeat coffee house. They let us bring in our own snacks. They have beer, soda, seltzer and 2 NA drinks available along with pretzels for purchase. Will come back!“
“The best bar staffed with the best people! Consistently excellent food and service! I cannot ask for more!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and swaps available!Parking: The lot in front can fill up but there’s plenty of street parking around the building. The childcare center across the street has restrictions on weekdays during the day but is available after school. The parking lot next to it is an option too.Kid-friendliness: Gym and swings in the yard, they keep the music family-friendly and have a wonderful kids menu for even the pickiest of eatersWheelchair accessibility: Handicap spaces and ramp next to the front door, wide entry and helpful staff always at the front“
“This was a great find in the middle of nowhere! The beer was great and the atmosphere is great. Lots of games and space. The one man checking people out screwed up our order and was very slow…but besides that, it was great. The kitchen made up for it.“
“I came for the West Side Popper Smoked Jalapeño Cream Ale after seeing it on Facebook. I had a "sword" (4-drink flight), and enjoyed each of my beers. My flight consisted of West Side Popper, Basement Ghost West Coast IPA, Altbier, and CDL Required Czech Dark Lager.“
“Excellent beer selection in a dog & kid friendly environment. Location right by the train, bus, & apartments is optimal. Limited parking, but they do have spots specifically for Venn. Restrooms for customers only. Highly recommend the sours, stouts, & especially the Hawaiian Hog, which almost tastes like bacon due to the smokiness.“
“My husband I have been coming here for a couple years now and we LOVE it. As frequent brewery visitors, out of all that we have been to around the Twin Cities WSB is by far our favorite. The hospitality and atmosphere this place brings is unmatched. (Of course, we also LOVE their beer!) We always get a friendly smile and a delicious pint. Highly highly recommend.“
“Great brewery with a very cozy atmosphere. This is a place I could see spending lots of time at if I lived nearby. Nice game selection. Kid & dog friendly. Good assortment of activities and food trucks on the schedule. Highly recommend.“
“The original and one of the best tap rooms, yet it still seems undiscovered at times perhaps because of the location. Summit was one of the original craft breweries in the upper Midwest when the craze started in the late eighties/early nineties and it has persevered making quality beer since then. The tap room is spacious, yet still has a cozy feel. With plenty of seating inside and out, it's a year round destination though its hours are more limited than many tap rooms. That may reflect that it's main focus is still brewing beer. They always have their main stays on tap with a seasonal or two. They don't make super trendy beers, but they don't need to. Their beer is good. The atmosphere is cozy. Great place to stop.“
“Picked up a can of the Lookout Lemon Berry kombucha at Lunds grocery store today and it’s my new favorite kombucha! The serving size is perfect, it has the right amount of carbonation that isn’t overwhelmingly burpy at all, and the flavor is spot on, some kombuchas just taste like vinegar but this brand hit the nail on the head with their perfect craftsmanship. They’re doing it right, folks.“
“It is difficult to find good employees and for the most part there are a lot of good people working here - just not our server. Thanks to the bartender and waitress working the bar area for helping out.Food was good. I’d return again in hopes of a better experience.“
“Friendly staff and a very well appointed and clean spot. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable I thought. I liked that they had food on the premises versus a food truck outside. My son had the corn dogs and liked them but we both agreed the pretzel bites were not good. To me they tasted like Sysco food and the cheese dipping sauce also was gritty and not to my liking.I didn't care for the beers either (I got a flight). The milkshake IPA was the best of the ones I tried. So my review is mostly a four star due to the nice facility and good service, not the food and drink.“
“Tucked away in a commercial area of south Minneapolis, Wild Minds showcases wild fermentation beers with exceptional skill. The taproom offers plenty of laid back indoor and outdoor space for a date, board games with friends, or a family gathering for the kids and dogs. Always a solid selection of fresh beers on tap from low ABV selections like Color Test to hazy IPAs, to Belgian inspired strong ales.“
“Finally made it in yesterday. I really loved the space, so much light w the store front being all windows!! Loved even more that when I glanced around the tap room was regular height tables. Win!! The beertender was helpful and knowledgable, as I asked him about a few beers he pointed out "all the descriptions are pretty accurate." Parking is easy w the shared lot w next door Lakeville Brewery and street parking. I loved the wooden state of MN on the wall w the hop in Lakeville! I opted for the 9.2% Belgian Tripel - Menage A Trois and the refreshing Cerveza Del Lago. As I told my beertender "you are my 280th brewery". At this high of a brewery number I encountered a first.... beer pours are offered as 5oz, a taster size pour or a large 20 oz pour. As someone who most of the time opts for a 10oz tulip pour I was a bit bummed, but in reality w the high Belgian ABV, 5oz was all I wanted of this beer. The 5oz pours are offered at a reasonable $3.I may be the 10oz minority....it's obviously working for Angry Inch to offer these two sizes. In reality it's not something that would deter me from returning, I was just surprised as in all my brewery travels I've never encountered this option. The lights above the tables are fun, bottomless growlers! Thanks Angry Inch for the inaugural visit to your cozy tap room!“
“I love Bald Man Brewing! As a South Minneapolis resident i don’t usually gravitate to the suburbs for breweries. But my parents live in Eagan, and we drive right by it. We’ve been a number of times and I’m always happy and impressed with their brews. The Tupelo Honey Brown Ale is a particular fave of my wife and i. Malty, toasty, and flavorful, as a good brown ale should be.I also really appreciate how family friendly they are. We’ve brought our kids a few times and they run around.Cheers!“
