“I tried two of their IPAs and they were really good and I brought a smashed crab sandwich from Coastal Seafoods which was really good.The beer had a lot of good hops, but they took my credit card for the tab? What? Do you really think I was going to run out of my tab on you?That was really off putting. The music was super loud, and I could barely tell what my wife was saying.Good beer though.“

“Waldmann Brewery is an amazing location with great food, amazing lager style beers, and a wonderful historic location. If any of those things appeal to you, this is your place. The staff are friendly and the events they host are great (Oktoberfest, St Nikolaus evening, german New Year's Eve), and the Biergarden is authentic and relaxing, even during the winter.“
“Urban Growler did not disappoint. We were there for a paint your pet fundraiser and were upstairs in the event space. The staff was very nice, taking food and beverage requests for the group and delivering them upstairs. I appreciated the time one of the employees took to answer my many questions about the beer and seltzer options. I chose the Growling Mule, which was delicious. The space was welcoming, bathroom was clean, with the biggest win being the option of food at the brewery. I posted multiple pictures of the outside space and of The Barrel Room. We enjoyed our first visit and will plan on returning soon!“

“I came for the West Side Popper Smoked Jalapeño Cream Ale after seeing it on Facebook. I had a "sword" (4-drink flight), and enjoyed each of my beers. My flight consisted of West Side Popper, Basement Ghost West Coast IPA, Altbier, and CDL Required Czech Dark Lager.“

I love their hard or non-alcoholic seltzer cocktails and they have a great variety of beer along with gourmet pizza and other snack foods. “This is a fun dog friendly, child friendly brewery. It was very busy when we stopped by for a beer before a soccer game. The bar tenders were friendly, quick and patient. The Lake monster theme is fun. There is quite a bit of seating inside and a large patio. You can order food from a place across the patio and they will deliver it right to you. The beer was good.“
“I wanted to come back and update my review. I can easily say that after frequenting just about every Minnesota Brewery, St Paul brewing (originally the Hamms brewery) is in my top 3. I love everything about this place. The atmosphere is very unique and fun, the taps are great (their “Shamms” is my favorite), and the staff are always friendly and inviting. I would highly recommend coming here!“

“The original and one of the best tap rooms, yet it still seems undiscovered at times perhaps because of the location. Summit was one of the original craft breweries in the upper Midwest when the craze started in the late eighties/early nineties and it has persevered making quality beer since then. The tap room is spacious, yet still has a cozy feel. With plenty of seating inside and out, it's a year round destination though its hours are more limited than many tap rooms. That may reflect that it's main focus is still brewing beer. They always have their main stays on tap with a seasonal or two. They don't make super trendy beers, but they don't need to. Their beer is good. The atmosphere is cozy. Great place to stop.“
“Interesting location, beer is good. Parking is best done on the street or in the lot across the street. Parking is a challenge when the game business in the same building is busy. Like a Sunday afternoon ? They were great and let the girl scouts sell cookies. Great space with lots of options for seating and a wall of games to use while there. Saw many tables using those.“

“Very good beers, and a good variety, and a lot of breweries don't have much variety. The food truck calendar is very helpful. The music inside is too loud. No one comes for the tunes, we come to visit with friends and family, and the loud music makes that difficult.“
“Stopped in for drinks with friends when the Black Market took place in their shared parking lot. I didn't even know this place existed, so I was glad to stumble upon it. I heard it might be closing, but I hope not because I would love to visit again.“
“The space is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The staff are SO nice. They are also dog friendly and where absolutely welcoming of my beast, even when she knocked over my drink. Even then they demanded we bring her back weekly. 100000/10 would recommend“
