“Delicious spicy shrimp! Not very spicy, even for someone who is really sensitive to spice, but the breading was very tasty, as well as the breading on the curds. Kind of pricy though! Mostly just has standard pub food.”

“I ordered take out over the phone, and it was easy.
I ordered:
1 green river roll
1 salmon avocado roll
1 spicy tuna roll

The sushi wasn't amazing, but it was decent. The green river was my favorite. I liked the crunch of the shrimp tempura and seaweed salad. The eel sauce was tasty and balanced the flavors too.

The spicy tuna was ok. The spicy mayo had a good kick to it, which was great! It was a little bit on the dry side though, so maybe it could've used a touch more spicy mayo in the mixture. As for the salmon avocado, it was good.

I love when chefs use minimal rice when making sushi, because it makes it easier to taste all the other ingredients. New Fresh Wok sushi chefs did just that.

Overall, I liked the sushi and would order it from here again. I am also excited to try the other Chinese dishes!”

“Very low key place with elegant but simple decorations, really nice and easy vibe in a small dining area, that feels open but intimate at the same time. The courses are bigger than expected so you do get your money's worth. The food was excellent with a good variety of dishes coming your way and the wine pairing adds an extra layer of flavor that is just a chefs kiss.”

“Reeeeeeeally wanted to give this 5 stars. Knocking off a star because both my friend and I got food poisoning after eating and this was the only meal we shared that day. Will give this another chance in the future and revise.

Service is stellar. Like seriously. We didn't have a reservation but they were still able to accomodate us at peak dinner time. Very patient in explaining their menu. Checked on us frequently, changed our plates with clean ones after every round, cleaned any spills on our table, always seemed to bring out the next course piping hot just as we finished the last one.

Food tasted phenomenal. I wanted to order literally everything on the menu. The gnocchi poutine was definitely the most unique. Restaurants usually skimp on desserts but not here - make sure to check it out. Price wasn't even that bad considering how amazing the food was and how stuffed we were afterwards.

Street parking. Location is a little odd being right under an apartment complex.

Definitely coming back, but I would be supremely disappointed if I get sick again.”

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well”

“Milly’s is an absolute gem in Minneapolis! The wine selection is impressive, with a great variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that catered perfectly to our group. The food, especially the charcuterie boards, was delicious and beautifully presented. Don’t miss out on the French onion soup! Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special shoutout to Timothy, the sommelier, who was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect pairings for our meal. “Strawberry coconut dream is quite sweet definitely a good balance of coconut and strawberry flavors (heavily). Tacos are on the larger quantity side. Sesame Chicken taco is crispy, tangy, with a good kick of spice. Al pastor taco is good, tangy with the bit of pineapple. Carnitas taco is very savory and juicy. The corn tortillas are nice and soft. Definitely have the sesame last because it overwhelms the other flavors. The sweet corn cake is super soft, a very light cornbread flavor. Elote is good, simple and yummy.”
