“I came in and had a wonderful meal with the family. I myself ordered an omelet that was cooked to perfection with crispy hashbrowns on the side and requested that they send my regaurds to the cook because it was the best omelet ive had in years. I figured i should come on here as well and give praise to the cook, Jeremy, who had cooked not just my meal perfectly but my whole family was also very satisfied. Definitely going to recommend this place to any friends or family passing through. might i add that i ordered a pancake for both my 7yo and 4yo and the cook made them mickey mouse pancakes which they were thrilled about.”

“First off, they have nicely displayed rolled rags for paper towels in the bathroom… not only that, but incense sticks for fragrant… menu cater to vegan, vegetarian and gluten free…their sweet and sour sauce is LEGIT. I’m vegan and their fried bean sprout tofu was phenomenal. Just not spicy enough but said they could’ve made it much spicier. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. 10/10”

“I am a relative newcomer to Alexandria. Country Blossom Farm is one of my go to places. Today I bought and baked their Chicken Pot Pie. Incredible! Flaky crust, beautifully cooked veggies and well seasoned chicken. Worth every penny. It’s like going back in time when I got off the school bus and into Mom’s kitchen and smelled fresh bread or pie.”

“The cutest hidden gem around!! 1950s themed small diner with murals, classic car models, and more! Classic diner menu, delicious foods, light menu for 10 and under and 65+. Extremely affordable and hands down the best, and largest, meatball mushroom special!
For those that struggle to find it has a neon pink lettering on the window.

Parking: Along the downtown strip with mainly parallel parking. There is a few parking lots nearby but it would be a jaunt.

Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! Very friendly staff and other restaurant goers!

Wheelchair accessibility: May be a tight squeeze for a wheelchair br definitely doable!”

Really though, this was a great winery that had good pours on a Monday afternoon while traveling. I like that they had a port tawny available. “Stopped in the bakery for a treat. We had never been in the bakery before, or never been to Alexandria before either. It smells so delicious in there. We bought two lemon Napoleons, we shared one for our treat and saved the other for next day. They were so flaky, lemony and delicious !!! Thank you Roers bakery for the good treats.”

“Today is the start of the Common Ground Coffee and Soup House!! First soup 🍜 bowl I am trying is the Broccoli, Ham and Cheese Soup. The flavor is great! I would give the soup a 8.5 and the only change would be to use a different type of cheese. Not all cheese should be used in soups or for melting purposes… but the flavor is definitely there!! Awesome!! Second soup I am trying right now is Chicken Wild Rice Soup! OMG this is AWESOME!! The flavor is great, it has vegetables you can see and taste and that adds to the flavor! Definitely a 9.5+! Two more new ones to try but I will in a bit! Come and sample, soups are free today!! I have had three different ones before this and they were all awesome!! So happy Bill started serving soup!!”
