“We drive from the Eastern suburbs for this food. Fantastic. Huge portions and great service. Their sister restaurant is on Grand in St. Paul called Coconut Thai.”

“We recently tried out Lat 14 in Golden Valley and had a wonderful time!

Upon entrance the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant with attentive service and staff.

We started with the Basil Wings, they had a delicious crispy exterior and were soft and tender inside paired with fried jalapenos and a hint of lime, definitely a highlight of the night! We also tried the Snow Crab Wontons, which did not disappoint, they were tasty and served with the Apricot Sweet Chili sauce that added a fruity sweetness that tied it all together.

To follow, we went with the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, served in a generous bowl, it was a dish that was enjoyable and had a little kick to it! The Chicken Adobo Fried rice was flavorful, served with a sunny side up egg and soy vinegar braised bone-in chicken, all very tender.

Throughout our stay we tried a few different cocktails, the Jasmine 45, by simply looking around we noticed how popular it was and I would totally recommend it, it was bubbly, sweet, and refreshing! The Mango Mojito was very good, it reminded us of a mango soda rather than a mojito. The Lat 14 Old Fashioned was perfect for slowly sipping throughout the night. Lastly, the Espresso Martini, made with a mix, we usually prefer them on the stronger side, this one was very light and smooth.

To end the night off we tried the Luq’s Scoop for dessert, it was a delicious toasted coconut ice cream served with caramelized pineapple, toasted coconut flakes, and toasted almonds. It was creamy and sweet, the perfect way to wrap up our stay!

Overall, we had a great time trying out Lat 14, we enjoyed their take on classic dishes and drinks and would totally recommend it to anyone looking to branch out and try some diverse Asian cuisine.”

“My wife and I really like this place! We recently attended their "OcktoBeer Meat Feast" and had a great time, wish we could've have stayed longer! We bought 2 Growlers 1-similar to a "Lonely Blonde" for my wife, and 1-"Peanut Butter & Jelly Stout", OMG their beer is soooooooo good! The owners are super nice people, and really have a passion for making their customers feel special (as we both did)! Did I mention how good their food trucks are, every week something new & delicious from Mexican to Beef Brisket, Sushi, Desserts, you name it! A hidden gem in the northwest suburbs, right across the highway from Kare 11. Will definitely be back! I give it the "Riffmaster General" 5-Star approval rating because they also played great classic rock over the speakers while there and live entertainment during "OktoBeer Meat Feast".”

The inside is gorgeous, every food item was delicious (we split a buffalo chicken wrap, French dip, tots and cup of soup). Our waitress Jackie was awesome! We stopped in Saturday afternoon, the restaurant wasn’t busy and we got seated right away. We got started with the buffalo wings. They were delicious and perfectly cooked, however they were sweet and spicy not buffalo spicy.

I didn’t like the butternut squash soup, but I loved the scallops with piquillo cream and the blueberry mojitos. My husband and I agreed they were sweet and strong!

The restaurant is clean, very spacious, dimly lit, and has a wonderful ambiance with a large parking lot out front.”

“I came in 22 July, just minutes before they closed. The staff made me two BEAUTIFUL salads, and made it clear I could have it my way. I asked for a few extra vegetables and they just threw them on, no questions asked. Even the gentleman moping the floor gave me a big welcome as I entered the store. All smiles with this crew, and it was clear I was gonna be happy whatever it took. GREAT service, outstanding attitude, very good food, 5/5 stars in my book! Thank you for making me feel so welcome when I come in at the last minute. I left very happy!”

“We love this place! There food is delicious, and consistant. We have been ordering to go from this establishment for 4 years since we moved to the area. Great prices, and the portions are huge! Egg rolls, pad Thai, fried rice, and spring rolls are our favorite order! The customer service is always amazing! The food is ready within 15 to 20 minutes from ordering it always! I have never had to wait. 100% recommend! Resturant is always clean.”

“I never leave bad reviews. I've only ever done it once or twice before. I prefer to leave only good reviews. However, my experience with this location today was so negative that here I am leaving a bad review! So disappointed! Our clinic orders from this Caribou pretty frequently since we're located right near them, but today we ordered 9 drinks and 4 of them were either wrong or were missing from the order, and literally NONE of them were labeled. First, a staff member had to wait for almost an hour for them to get made in the first place because the caribou staff felt that our order wasn't as important as all the individual orders walking through the door, even though our order was first. When we sent a different staff member back to get the 4 drinks that were wrong/missing, she was there for OVER AN HOUR waiting for them to correct their mistake because once again, they prioritized all the people walking through the door. I had to call and complain and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude right off the bat and non apologetic and blamed it on staffing issues. I understand being understaffed, but learn how to prioritize orders correctly. Maybe you should correct the mistake from your 9am order when it's almost noon and they still haven't been made correctly! My staff member just got back with the 4 drinks, and at least one of them is STILL WRONG. I'm going to have to call again, but I know it's not going to do any good because the woman answering the phone clearly hates her life and is unnecessarily rude to customers instead of just admitting they messed up and correcting their mistake in a timely manner. Terrible customer service on her part. The poor guy working behind the counter was apparently very nice but obviously overwhelmed. Why isn't this woman helping him instead of sitting around being rude to people over the phone? We've spent a LOT of money here and now we're not sure we ever want to order here again due to the terrible customer service and this woman's bad attitude. If she's polite and makes this right when I call again, I'll remove this review but I'm willing to bet she'll be just as nasty as last time I called. In the future, we'll likely give our business to Starbucks instead and just drive to get it. Ridiculous.

Update: I called and didn't get the rude woman again, thank God. Instead I was able to speak with the person who was actually making the drinks. He was very polite and friendly, and gave us 4 free drinks for the trouble. I really appreciate this level of customer service! He was apologetic and very sweet. Give this man a raise and get rid of that other rude lady! Because of this guy, my one star review has been elevated to a 4.”

“This is our favorite Papa Murphy's in the state of Minnesota period! Staff members such as Mason and Henry, make our pizza's consistently great and have the "can-do" attitude that more young adults need to have these days. They actually care about their customers, especially ones that have been coming to this store since it opened!

Vegetarian options: We've had their vegetarian pizza before and it rocked!!! So much flavor, so good for you!”

“A great experience at this Golden Valley location. Consistently good food for this type of long-term restaurant chain. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, the food arrived at our table in a short amount of time, and the value was good. We also enjoyed the menu variety.

“Stopped into this location with an online order promotion for footlongs for $6.99, the food was great fresh and fast was ready when i arrived and the cashier was busy but didn't make me wait, he grabbed my sandwich while he was taking another customer order at the register loved that accommodation great job!!!!!

“Visited the Golden Valley, MN location after a busy day. We didn’t realized they closed at 8:30 pm. There was a staff that was taking out the trash. Even though he said they were closed he still went above and beyond and served us. We were so grateful and appreciative of this incredible kindness and customer service!”
