I had a great experience at Brewed Awakenings - I ordered a well-prepared latte and a delicious linzer torte muffin. Next time I'm in the area I would definitely drop in for a larger meal as the food options looked really good.
We stopped here for breakfast and some specialty coffee after a stay in Grand Rapids on a cool Sunday morning. Wow! It is a beautiful, quaint coffee shop with some unique options for breakfast. The coffee was excellent and much better than the mass produced Caribou or Starbucks coffee. My wife and I sat, ate our breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito, and played cards for nearly 2 hours while enjoying the wall art and the many people coming and going enjoying their breakfasts....
everything was amazing! I had a latte that was made to perfection, a turkey sandwich on sourdough with a chipotle sauce that was flavorful and had the perfect amount of fresh greens for crunch, and a homemade monster cookie. I would go out of my way to stop here again. I absolutely loved everything about it from the outside curb appeal to the friendly people putting it all together – the experience was everything I hoped for. For me there’s no comparison to finding a place...
