“My friend and I checked out this place a while back and were pleasantly surprised , great food at great prices, with friendly staff. I've been back a handful of times since then with other people and every time we go everyone loves the place!“

“Their tenderloin sliders are definitely an item to try . Tender steak done perfect & added pepperjack cheese & onion. So delicious . I will come back for that item !It was on a Thursday so it was trivia night & it did become loud & busy at times .We came back for Friday fish which was average at best but what was really great was it included the salad bar which offered a nice variety & 2 kinds is soup that were great .“

“I woukd highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking to have a special evening. Inside is very beautiful, and their outdoor patio is spectacular! It is located right on the Mississippi River. The sun sets over the river in view too. Water fountains and great natural noise. Parking is going to be a challenge, so allow yourself time to find parking. There is a free parking lot for the Waterfront. But it is small and is usually filled up. The food is fresh and it is really authentic and is a flavor that dances on your tongue. Pops of flavor like a the lily's in a Monet. Prepare for a bigger tab, but so worth it.“

“Excellent gluten free selections (ask for the GF menu). And fantastic Creole seasoning. We were there at lunch. My wife ordered the blackened walleye with rice and coleslaw. I ordered the blackened catfish with rice and steamed vegetables. Portions so generous that we will not be eating dinner. We loved the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Also have the option of outdoor seating. Our server Olivia did a fantastic job. Never felt like she was hovering. We felt that the meals were offered at a fair price. We will definitely be back.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants! My husband and I celebrate special days here. It was my birthday and I was given a Sundae with a candle. Don't EVER change the decor because it gives the restaurant the old "supper club" style.“

“Java Vino was hoppin today. Despite being so busy the service was stellar and the food was epic. I got the curried chicken salad sandwich today and it was out of this world. I highly recommend Java Vino. Even if they quote a wait time, it’s worth the wait.“

“Was in the area for a Girls Weekend and opted to go to Red Pines for a Friday night Fish Fry...based on other Google reviews. We knew we'd be adding our name to a waiting list when we got there and saw a very full parking lot. Nice bar area...lots of selections. Could have used another bartender as the 2 girls were struggling to keep up. We had to wait about a half hour but that's what they estimated and it was worth the wait . The menu was exceptional for a fish fry... lots of choices. My perch plate was hot, well seasoned and was NOT over battered. Perfect! I'd definitely come here again when travelling in the Lacrosse area!!“

“Hi there! This place has been a bit of a magical place for my now fiancé and I. We had our first anniversary here and it was incredible. The service, the atmosphere and especially the food. Everyone is kind, friendly, and conversational. By the time the next year rolled around we knew where we wanted to spend our second anniversary and came right on back. It was the 28th of April and as we were going through the specials with the waiter an older gentleman siting a booth away shot his warm voice over and exclaimed how amazing the starter special was. I chatted with him and as the date progressed he offered to take pictures of us, complimented my lovely then girlfriend, and was overall a joy. The waiter came back around and we weren’t getting appetizers—straight into entrees but I ordered the special the man recommended foolishly without realizing that it was a starter and switched my order to the amazing chile shrimp pasta with arugula dish. The man noticed this and smoothly moved to the waiter out of the corner of my eye and before I knew it we had the starter special. It was as good as the man exclaimed. I was going to go offer to buy the man a drink or perhaps chat with him further when he put on his cap and left for the evening. After an amazing time (to be expected when you come here) the waiter announced that the owner had comped our drinks as well. To you sir, whom I assume are the owner of Restore Public House. Thank you very much for such a wonderful evening. You have an amazing place that genuinely seems to have everything a restaurant should be about: good food and good people. I want you to know I proposed that night in your restaurant and she said yes!! I’m hoping your influence spreads wide and who knows? Might have to make anniversaries at Restore Public House a tradition.“

“We went to Pogreba for the first time for my birthday. Everything about our time there was amazing. Our server Lexi was the best! Knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. I honestly think she is the best server I have ever met. The food was delicious. From the aps to the dessert everything was great. I can't believe I'd never been there before, but will definitely be back!“

“Rosie’s place is small, but very quaint. A classic diner serving breakfast and lunch. Customers can sit at the counter next to the open kitchen or find a booth in front or table in the back. Our server was great and came back multiple times to check in and make sure we had everything. Let’s just say our cups were never empty. The food was delicious and filling and decently priced. The place reminded me of the memories I spent eating at truck stops with my grandparents. Coffee always hot and eggs made any way you want. “We ate at The Breakfast Club last weekend. It was very good and highly recommend. Get the donut holes as an appetizer. I think they do them in 6 or 15. Do yourself a favor and go with the higher quantity. You will be disappointed if you don't. All 4 of us got something different for the main course and everyone was very satisfied. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again when we go back to the area.“

“Our family came to Howies after my daughter raved about this place. We brought my brother and his daughter with. We got to sit up top so our waitress had to carry our drinks and food to up to us. We have had issues with delivery services (no fault of Neuie's) and they're always incredibly kind and compassionate, you can tell they care about their business. “We get to the Recovery Room several times per year. My personal favorite menu item is the biscuits and gravy with hash browns. Honestly though, they do a great job with everything. Fry bread tacos are amazing on Tuesdays (big as you head), fried chicken on Wednesdays is the best in the entire coulee region, and the beer battered fish and shrimp on Fridays is awesome.
