“We went for Sunday Bingo and got the best food ever. We had an unfortunate experience last March and I was hesitant to try again. So glad I went back. Food was delicious, drinks were perfect and staff was soo friendly!Kid-friendliness: My two great nephews were with us. They were able to play outside and even got covered drinks, so no mess!!“
“they have DJ/Karaoke on some weekends and some great bands on other weekends. Bingo every Thursday and Friday Fish which is the best around. Friendly bartenders and plenty of food to choose from. New homemade pizza is excellent!“

“We came there for a corn hole fundraiser tournament. Got a few Bloody Mary's and some food. Food was good. Drinks took longer to get than normal, there's was only a handful of people at the bar but maybe they needed help somewhere else.. had a good time there. Fun atmosphere.“

“If you want the best service, menu, food, drinks, and atmosphere with a beautiful view of the river then Red Pines is the only place with it all. Always the first place we stop when we come to Onalaska. I was fortunate to have a family who had a surprise birthday party for me at Red Pines. Best Birthday party!!! Had a great time with great food, drinks, service and especially family and friends. Thanks you all. See you next trip.“

“Top 10 location for Breakfast in La Crosse. Arguably top 3 for overall breakfast experience. #1 in the area for best breakfast value your money can get.Service is damn fast, food is damn good too. When you get the bill, you'll double take because it's damn cheap.I've only had dinner service only a handful of times. It's serviceable. Breakfast is the reason why you are eating here.Everything on the breakfast menu is great. I routinely eat here at least once a month. Regardless of the day you come in for breakfast, it's always busy. Especially on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (church crowd). You have options to change the menu around to your liking. If you're not a fan of hashbrowns, you can ask to leave it off. Believe me, you'll get a ton of hashbrowns. Everything is coming out hot and fresh.Portions are big. Pancakes, cinnamon rolls, omelettes, skillets, everything is big. If you have a small stomach, you're going to have leftovers. If you're looking for big portions, bigger savings, fast friendly service, and one of the best breakfast spots in the La Crosse area, Family Restaurant is a great time.“

“Service was outstanding employees very helpful & polite. Tried the vegetable burger & it was very delicious, it is very soft too. Sooo enjoyed it. Also had the roast beef sandwich Have to let them know if you need ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise because they have behind the counter. My sister had the quarter pounder with bacon & cheese curds so delicious. They opened at 10'30am we had to wait a few minutes before opening but well worth it. They have handicap parking & entrance plus drive thru. Bathrooms were very nice & clean“
“Were there last night(12/23/23) to try Angry's Way Out for the first time. The bartender was sassy, fun, and made our experience even better! Tried three different pizzas and were surprised at the deep layers of toppings. Good strong drinks ..Yum! Good variety on menu for those who don't want pizza. We'll be back!Kid-friendliness: Fun atmosphere, Christmas movie on one TV, but other TVs with variety. Bar was busy but not super loud for kids“
“**2024 Update. Many things have improved at Champions. The removal of extra wristbands, addition of a large swimming pond, and newer upgraded sites. Kids stay busy with activities including an arcade (occasionally machines aren't working) with ticket redemption options. The swimming pond and water obstacle course is a great addition, nice sand and generally enough room for everyone to be spread out some. They removed the NFC card type access and replaced with license plate activated gates, I appreciate that. Also added wifi in the park and speeds are generally around 25 mbps. The newer pull through sites could use some more grass care as a lot of it is sandy and dirt vs grass. The older area is still the same and I haven't stayed in those locations for a few years. Golf cart rentals are a bit high priced, $115 for a weekend. Overall we have been returning a couple times a year since our first time and it's been great.2018: Spent a weekend there with the kids. Campsites are small, I love having neighbors but not that close. A few of the campsites didn't appear to have a gravel spot for the trailer which didn't help with crowding issues. Campsites are perpendicular to the access roads, becomes an entertaining thing watching some try to back into the spot, particularly when the surrounding sites are occupied. I guess you don't realize how nice the angled spots are until you don't have them. Paid for an upgraded wristband for my child, the second (2yr old) was a free upgrade which is awesome though. $25 a person is a pretty hefty price though. I was also told that I needed to purchase an upgraded wristband so I could assist the 2yr old on some of the activities, that's not really the best in my opinion, supporting parents should not be charged. Mini golf is something to avoid all together. Many of the holes have rotted out floors, fungus growing on some of the carpeting/"greens", broken obstacles, extension cords, and for god sakes my ball wasn't even round anymore, looked like it had tumors all over it. Had to avoid kids on pedal bikes all weekend, once even getting hit directly in the shin by a set of kids racing around the bathrooms. Little to no campground etiquette was being enforced by fellow campers or staff, regularly had people walking through our campsite directly next to our camper or in the area behind it. People in rental and permanent golf carts were driving through the inflatable and playground area. Inflatable area by the waterside was ground covered by rock chips... Cause every kid loves walking around on sharp rocks without shoes on... Pool was decent (small if it's a busy weekend for sure) but it would be great to have a kids area that wasn't 4ft deep at the shallowest point. Inflatables were covered in water from the storm a few days ago making for either super wet kids or just a unenjoyable experience for them, also the inflatables were covered in mildew in parts. Beware of trip hazards here, everything is ran on extension cords from the inflatables to the mini-golf Not a valid state inspection sticker on anything, but at least the puppy merry-go-round had the paid half from 2016 on it (the stickers are shipped in 2 parts, once when paid and once when inspected). Sand, sand, sand... So much sand in this part of the area and the campground is no exception, from sand around the inflatables to extending into the campsites which end up as a combination of mud/dirt and selective weedy "grass." Gnats and mosquitos were the worst I've seen yet this season, fogging would be nice.Overall it was an OK trip because the kids enjoyed themselves. It won't be my first pick in the future but I won't exclude it entirely. There is a lot of opportunity here for improvement but I'm not sure that the focus is there compared to trying to draw people in with guest visitors like retired Packer players.“
“Excellent upscale modern restaurant that focuses on American cuisine. We ordered their tower of onion rings a couple of burgers and their chicken wings. Everything was fresh, hot and seasoned well. The grandkids enjoyed that they had a jukebox where you could play music of your own selection . Lots of TVs if you have a sports fanatic. The prices were great, and customer service was outstanding. I was in town for a Boy Scouts event, and the restaurant also has an ice cream shop across the street and the grandkids had dessert there it was amazing!“

“We had a group of 8, and had a great experience. Seated with little waiting. Our server Bailey took our drink order quickly, and refilled us many times without asking! She was on it! And so friendly and helpful with answering questions. Food was good. Some was excellent, some was ok…. Cheese curds for our appetizer were amazing! Taste like they are homemade. We had burgers, some Lucy’s. Would have like to have a bit more of flavor on the burgers themselves. Fries were a bit of a let down after the cheese curds. They were not warm, and tasted like they had either sat under a heat lamp or just put back down in the fryer to rewarm. Beer cheese soup was great. Salads were good. Would return, Bailey was such a great show of customer service that is so hard to find these days.“

“Upon walking into Mary Cody's, you're treated with a nice replica of what would be an Irish pub. It's a great environment, nice and cozy for great conversation. This being my first visit, I'm sure I had that face of "What am I doing here, I need help!" I was quickly greeted and had the cream of the crop for eating locations, I took saddle at the bar.Looking at the limited menu for breakfast, everything was tempting. I took the following: Meat Lover's Skillet, Eggs Benedict, Biscuits and Homemade Sausage Gravy, and Buttermilk Pancakes.Meat Lovers SkilletIt was expected. Well executed. I didn't need to season the dish. Came out fresh. Nothing to write home about, but their take on the Meat Lovers Skillet is solid. Let's be honest, can be purchased anywhere in the area.Eggs BenedictEggs were runny and perfect. I'd happily buy again.Biscuits and Homemade Sausage GravyHANDS DOWN, the best sit-down biscuits and gravy in the area! Most restaurant have Chef Mic(rowave) in the back, nuking biscuits and gravy. Not here! You can tell that this dish is made from scratch. I'd love to take an IV direct into my vein and just pipe the gravy into my bloodstream. *Chef's Kiss*Buttermilk PancakesPancakes are hearty and filling. I'd have no problems recommending the pancakes here.If you're looking for value and QUANTITY, go somewhere else. If you're looking for a true under the radar breakfast place, with great and quick service, friendly atmosphere, and all the dishes coming out perfect and fresh. It's worth the money. Easily a top 10 hidden gem breakfast spot in the LaCrosse/Onalaska area.Biscuits and gravy, BEST IN THE AREA.“

“Moved to LAX 2 years ago when I retired. Found DR’s and since gone in 4-5 times a week for lunch or dinner. Spent on the average of $800.00/month since. Forgot to pay my $15.47 bill the other night and walked out. Came in the next day and was told of my mistake by their manager Kevin and told I was kicked out for life. I didn’t get into a fight, get into an argument, I forgot to pay my bill. That being said everyone there knows I will come in the next day or tomorrow and would make good of it. Please stay away from this place. Cannot believe a fine man Dave Skogen(Festival Foods) is associated with this place?“

“Decent golf course. Rates were ok. Decent little pro shop. The par 5 uphill number 2 and then the elevated tee box par 3 number 3 took a little work. Greens were in great shape. Fairways and rough cut well. Fun course. Course with a sports bar bowling alley adds icing to the cake. Would play again.“

“I’ve been going to Wasons for years. It has been awhile since I visited. What happened to the salad bar??? Lettuce, two dressings, onion( watery) tomato, cottage cheese, cheese, coleslaw, one soup. I was so disappointed. I was looking forward to a great salad before dinner. The Friday fish and shrimp were very tasty. I just expected more from the salad bar.“

“We were in on Tuesday at noon.food was delicious as always but the ribs were not as meaty as we always have gotten in previous visits n the chicKen breast seemed smaller. I would rather pay a little more for the meaty ribs cause good golly they are the best. Please go back to the meaty ribs n bigger chicken breasts as we alway get the big garbage can…alway. And of course the bread pudding was fantastic! Do not mind dropping a 100.00 when we come but please meaty ribs not the thinner ribs we received Tuesday..thank you“

“I’ve been here countless times and am always more than satisfied with the experience. So I took my grandmother here with my brother for her 75th birthday lunch and received the worst service I have ever had. The food was amazing and came out quick, the environment is great too, but the waitress was absolutely awful. I don’t have her name because she never introduced herself! A good 20 minutes in between every time she came to our table. All of our drinks were empty long enough for me to go get them all refilled at the bar.“
