Lake Elmo Inn is elegant, quiet, very well run. Staff have been there for a long time, know how to treat customers, always attentive and upbeat. Food is very well prepared and delicious. The chef is amazing, food is displayed and presented in a five star restaurant style. We have been to Lake Elmo Inn many times, and would recommend it to everyone.
This place has been a family favorite for years. Went back recently and was still impressed by the food. High quality and handmade. I wasn’t super impressed with service this time. Waiter was a little salesy- really tried pushing desserts and wasn’t very accommodating for dietary restrictions. I know they can do better- I hope they hold their standards high for service.

This was a great outing. We took our brother and sister-in-law to lunch to celebrate his 92nd birthday. Our delightfully spunky waitress immediately suggested we start the celebration off with champagne! She provided a nonalcoholic variety to our guests because they don't imbibe. It was such a nice start to a lovely meal, everything was delicious.
