We brought our friends from Canada who LOVE Italian food, in fact she took a cooking class in Italy and they LOVED it!!! I feel lucky to have this little restaurant so close to home!“

“It's hard to forget the restaurant next door to the amazing Prince mural, especially when you experience a fantastic meal. It's an interesting setup where you order at the counter and get a number for the table and they bring the food to you, even though you get the feel like it's a waitress type of restaurant. It still felt comfortable. I got to share the meal with my family enabling me to try all the things I wanted. We got the lentil soup, the 3 appetizer plate where I chose hummus, grape leaves, and baba ganoush to start. I also ordered the 2 person feast that included the steak shish kabob, gyro, and chicken shwarma, rice, and salad. We also got the spicy chicken wrap and the falafel wrap. It also came with tahini, taziki, and hot sauce. Everything was delicious! Of course, I then decided I needed to end the meal with dessert choosing the Turkish Baklava which was on point. The service was good, and the prices were reasonable. I would totally come back here.“

“Beautiful west metro brewery with a wide variety of well executed beers. They also have a nice location on the water with plenty of seating indoors and out. Dog friendly with plenty to do between sports on TV, to games and stages for live music. When I when they had a hot sauce tasting, and 3 food trucks. If you’re in the west side of the twin cities, like great beer and a good time check this place out! (Side note they are very friendly to the home brew crowd and brewing community in general) TOP!“

“Nice classy ambiance. My boyfriend and I were served at the bar by Eric. We ordered 2 different cocktails, a Caesar salad, the filet mignon, the filet mignon sandwich, and a lemon blackberry dessert. Cocktails were wonderful, Eric was very knowledgeable about our drinks and the pairings with the food. Steak was served as ordered, very tasty. Everything tasted great and was locally sourced! “I've been with every iteration of the Smith House and this one is my favorite. The customer service is consistent and only matched by the drinks. The food could be elevate a tad more based on price but I dint discourage folks from the menu. The one and only issue that every customer has is parking. The lot is tooooooo small for the number of people they are able to serve. Subsequently customers park along the drive I to the lot causing tones of chaos and potential accidents. I'm frankly surprised the EP City Commissioner hasn't stepped in. So, I suggest car pooling if possible.Parking: Parking is limited! Carpool if possible.“

“This was my second visit to Buca in Maple Grove. It was amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Special Thank You to Cheyenne, he was amazing his drinks were fabulous, ask him for some of his specials, he did an amazing alcohol free apple drink, that had all 8 of us at the table very happy. He also took time to take us on a tour of the entire facility. This is a beautiful place, it has so much character. We will be back again.“

“This place went hard. Came here for an early dinner. Miller lite on tap. The burgers are probably 1/3 pounders and tasty. I asked for an extra patty and they were cool with that. Girlfriend had the Stacker in the rye and liked it too. VERY reasonably priced for what you are getting. We will absolutely be coming back. Also upgrade to the tots if you get a burger or sandwich.“

“I don't know exactly how to rate North Coop I recently ate lunch there because their food is Good and Tasty, Service Adequate, Atmosphere Average.My reservation comes with the "portion size".I ordered the Catfish Entree that came with Rice and Beans & cornbread. The Catfish fillet was one fillet that was the really small...approximately 3 to 4 oz. And the Rice and Beans maybe 4 tablespoons, also small.Total for lunch $25.00 with tip. (See attached receipt).So, NO MORE lunches at North Coop, which is sad, because I really do like their food.“

The tall dark haired male bartender was quick to greet me as soon as I got up to the vert busy bar with a smile! He got my drink right away, and I paid then without starting a tab. A friend went to grab me a drink from the bar, and they were back withing 5 minutes. Quick service! I would definitely go back and have dinner.“

“Went here for a quick bite after some cocktails. Packed on a sat night about 10pm ,bar and tables mostly full but we got served right away at a high top . Server was great,and typical American bar food but that's what we were looking for The Cajun dry rub chicken wings were pretty good and the boneless buffalo wings were okay too. Portion sizes we're bigger than I expected so that was a plus Overall I would come here again to check out some of their other grub“

“Solid sushi spot in the suburbs! My friends and I were nearby for another event and were craving sushi so decided to give this spot a try. Interior was pretty and blue and our server was super friendly. We started with the wonton soup, served in individual bowls and it was okay. Nothing stellar but hit the spot during the cold. The rolls themselves were fresh, loaded, and tasty. Not sure if it's a spot I would drive out of my way to go to, but if I am in the area, I'll definitely stop by!“

“Excelsior Brewing is now one of the best breweries in the twin cities. I used to think their beers were just ok, but they have seriously stepped up their game in the past couple of years. The strawberry cream ale, spiced dark ale (can’t remember the exact name!) and their s’mores beer are unique and tasty. Their location in excelsior is great and their trivia night on Thursdays is super fun. Don’t always head to Minneapolis for great beer- Excelsior is where it’s at!!!!“
