“Nicole is the best server, she rushes to get us drinks, food and service. She has single handedly made it our go to dinner spot. Very family friendly atmosphere with booster seats. interactive kids menus and an awesome selection of tap beers for us adults:-) the weekend staff is gold. the selection of sauces and sides is unmatched in Mankato. This is our family meet up spot 100%. very happy we have a local spot like this to relax and eat. As a family that struggles to find kid friendly family atmosphere's in the area while giving us adults a break with beers and drinks. Bolder Tap hits the nail on the head in every way. Thanks to Nicole for being so on top of it, professional, patient, and kind to us. this is our go to spot from now on. she deserves a raise. She is a Role model server and provides the exactly service we hope for anytime going to a new restaurant. Highly recommend the square cheese curds, total staple in the area for appetizer. 10/10 service with the weekend staff. 100% will be there monthly if not weekly.“

“This place was so cute and food was absolutely delicious 😋 I recommend eating here, me and my sister came to visit my niece she told us about this place. We all loved our food great customer service as well. Was beautiful day outside alot of people ate outside as well. The lemon ricotta pancakes omg so good with whipped cream and strawberries 🍓 I was so full couldn't eat it all.“

“Went last night; the server gave me a recommendation for my food and drink. Both were so yummy. I had the sticky burger and Hippie Juice. Also, even though it was very busy, the service was still smooth. The side patio is especially nice of warm days!“

“I will have to preface this review by saying that I'm definitely going to give Johnny B's a second shot. My first experience there was subpar, but I feel like it could be much better. I tried their fries, cowboy kegs, buffalo chicken tater tot kegs, and the philly cheese steak sandwich. The fries were nothing to write home about at all, they tasted under salted and almost store bought. The cowboy kegs were definitely a cool premise, like hush puppies but with cream cheese. They didn't taste as good as I hoped but I still enjoyed them. The buffalo chicken tater tot kegs had me excited, but the potato and chicken flavors didn't mix well and it also didn't taste as good as I expected. They did give me a fat cup of bleu cheese though which I was super happy about. The philly cheese steak sandwich was definitely the star of the show, delicious, but I do have to remark that I wish it had more cheese.
Overall, the food was 6/10, barely above average, but the place was clean, the waitress was nice, and the overall experience was more 8/10. I want to return because I want to try the bacon ranch tater kegs and the more famous menu items. I'm sure that while the food I ordered was subpar, other options must be way better. I'll update my review next time I visit“
“Busy as heck, but the crew handled it. Lots of bodies but the drinks flow! Floor and table tops are sticky in all corners of the bar, low ceilings basement with no ventilation makes for some stale farts. Great college bar, brings frat vibes with louder music!“

“Understaffed prior to a concert. Servers obviously overwhelmed so the service definitely suffered. Food was good tho wasn't very hot when it made it to the table. Waited 20 minutes for our drink order and finally went to the bar and ordered. Our server hadn't put the order in. Definitely needed more help!“

“Food is awesome. However it feels like a fire code violation with shoulder standing room and one single door for an entrance and exit. Also, there is zero coordination at the door for a waiting line. Most places take a name and how many or give ppl a ticket ect., Folks just walk right past others who've been waiting to be seated and then immediately get a seat right infront of others who've been waiting.“

“I enjoy eating at JD's great service the food is amazing. Staff are very respectful and also don't mind having conversations. Definitely a place where I take my kids out for a juicy burger and myself to enjoy a nice cold beer. S/O to JD's 😎“

“Brayden is the absolute goat. He was welcoming and friendly. He delivered our food and drinks quickly and had such a great attitude. Brayden is royalty at Applebees and I always hope to have him as my server. He didn’t just serve our table—he elevated the entire experience. Brayden deserves every award, trophy, medal, and honorary title known to mankind. Applebee’s should probably build a statue of him outside the restaurant. If every server had even 10% of Brayden’s greatness, the world would be a significantly better place.
10/10 service. 100/10 Brayden. Absolute legend.“
