“This is the definition of a 5 Star establishment. Don’t believe me? Come try it for yourself! The whole staff is amazing. The wait staff is fantastic, bartenders make the best drinks around, and the food is to die for. 10/10 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. A very clean and well run establishment.”

“Another absolutely amazingly delicious meal! They out do themselves every time we come. Just a true treasure that I hope is there for a very long time. Enjoyed a couple Guinness along with muscles, pan seared tuna and the corned beef and cabbage. Everything was just wonderful!”

“Nice spot for a local beer. Staying nearby and Locale was within a few blocks walking so decided to try it out. We unknowingly entered through the back door because the two food trucks were hiding the front entrance but, good to know there's multiple ways to get in and out! There is a bar area with seating, tables and a small patio for seating. Lots of options but one thing I noticed was that nearly all seating tables was set up for 4 or more which resulted In a bunch of half used tables inside. So, all the tables were filled but only at a bit over half capacity it seemed. We ordered our sampler at the register and headed outside. Bartender was nice and made a recommendation to help fill out the sampler flight. Total for the sampler was $12 based on the beers I chose so not the cheapest option for drinking but a good way to try a few. Beers were good. Chose two sours, a dark beer and a polish style beer. All unique in their flavor.”

“This place is a hidden gem in Mankato. It's a lunch spot, however, they do serve breakfast and have some good looking cinnamon rolls. Check the Facebook site for a photo and description of the daily special and if nothing else, try the club sandwich. I believe all the soups are home made and never disappoint.”

“I've been going to Tokyo Sushi for years. The food is amazing, and everyone working there is hospitable and kind. The owner is very sweet. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“We decided to try Olives in Mankato for the first time, at first we just got drinks and had some good conversations with the bartender. So we decided to go back and give the food a try. I’m so glad we did the food is out of this world (sorta speak) it’s amazing the chief knows what he is doing. We also tried three desserts that are also homemade (from what we’re told) and there amazing you can’t go wrong with this location”

“Very nice people running it.Fast service. Medium sized dining room. On a busy day, I'd recommend taking it to go. Food and prices are par for the course.Parking: FYI : route is a triple left from Adams Eastbound from Roundabout to parking lot.”

“Food is always fantastic. Service has been either really great or meh. We once waited well over 20 minutes for our server to even bring us a water.Parking: Parking garage is paid/free depending on time of day. Minimal street parking .”

“It's kept clean and a great place to get some food. I cant wait for the food trucks to come back. Swedes was the one there today. I was excited for it! super nice woman working today. The food was not great though.The Pulled pork is very dry. I had the sandwich and the nachos, and took it home. I only live 8 mins away. The food was cold, no semi warm to it. Their sauces are good though, just doesn't make up for the dry pork.”

“We had an amazing bachelorette party dinner this weekend. The ambiance was wonderful, service fantastic and food was incredible. They took Excellent care of our large party and will be back!”

“It's my first time in Mankato but it seems like Berry Blendz is a local chain around the university campus. I actually came in thinking it would be frozen yogurt but the super nice cashier drew me in and helped me decide on a great smoothie called Luscious Lemon! Super tart, super delicious, and definitely not as heavy as ice cream. I really appreciated his suggestions and glad I stumbled in! Will probably be back to try a new flavor tomorrow! One note is he was super honest in saying all of the açaí bowls were amazing except the protein one - mixed reviews on that one so I'd suggest avoiding it!”

“Delivery driver was rude as hell. Paid with a card. Didn't believe us. He called Garys to verify our payment. He cussed out whoever answered the phone. Our pizza and chicken were both cold. Planned on giving him a $10 tip but since he was so rude he got nothing.”

“I'm going to be moving to town pretty soon, and I thought I'd check out my grocery options. They have a pretty decent selection of food.I did self checkout since I only got two items, and I got really confused about where my food was going after I scanned it. It went on a convayer belt, the a rolly thing where it slid downward. I amlost thought my sushi was going to flip over. Clearly anyone who saw my reaction, probably knew I wasn't from there or hadn't been there before. lol. I'll definitely be shopping here a lot.”

“I brought my 3 kids and Dad here and we all loved it. 2 of my children tried a cucumber roll for the first time and said they wanted to try different rolls next time because they liked it. My son said he is choosing Shogun for his birthday in October. It is a 3 hour drive to come to this location for Hibachi, but we will definitely be back! There were 5 kids total at our table and the chef did an amazing job with all of them. Very entertaining and enjoyable! My 74 year old Dad even commented how fun it was.Kid-friendliness: Our Chef interacted great with all the kids. We all were laughing and having fun.”

“I would not recommend eating here. I witnessed them bringing a dog into the back of the restaurant with a pack n play. animals don't belong in an area where u serve food. It's very unsanitary and unsafe!”

“The negative comments on the Dining Center are pretty old. They have really improved their food! There is a fresh salad bar, made to order sandwich bar, pasta bar, fresh pizza daily, and soft serve ice cream, as well as vegetarian/vegan options, a dessert bar, and several choices of balanced, healthy meals daily.”
