I have always loved Sawatdee - the Minneapolis location. We were feeding nostalgic and stoped at the maple grove location as we had to go there for some errands I can’t believe how bad the food was. The peas and carrots came from a frozen bag - the sauces were watery and starting to separate. Presentation and flatware was no better than old dining service from the 80’s. I've been going to Sawatdee for a long time, but the quality has been slipping in the past couple years. We've had a couple times where the booths would be way too close to the table and we couldn't move because customers were on the other side and the food changed a while back to a lower quality and quantity. I hope they breathe some life back into the place, because I used to love going.

Sawatedee is my all time favorite restaurant. I highly recommend the red curry and the panang curry. It's made with sweet coconut milk so doesnt have the traditional curry flavor. I could drink it straight it's so delicious. And a mango fling. Also what dreams are made of.
