“I tried Thanh Luong for the first time yesterday for take out. We ordered the Chicken Pho, Bun Bo Hue, and Com Tam. The first thing I wanted to say that this place is one of the best vegan/vegetarian Vietnamese restaurants I've ever been to and I've tried many in Vegas, California, Minnesota, and in Asia. The taste is also very true to what you would taste from any Vietnamese restaurant. The flavors from all of the dishes were authentic, flavorful, bold and had all the right ingredients and textures. The food was very good and I would bring my meat eater friends and family to try this. The dishes are more expensive than a regular Vietnamese joint but the portions were also very generous. The only advice I would give to this restaurant is to make some of their meat alternatives less greasy. At the end of the meal I do feel the heavy oil from the fried “meats”. All in all I live only 5 minutes away and wish I discovered it sooner but will be back to try the Banh Mi! I only did takeout but the gentleman who helped me was very kind and even opened the door for me as I ordered 3 big bags worth of take out! This left a good impression. They are definitely not your average Vietnamese restaurant and I wish them lots of success and will continue to support and spread the word!“
“I love the food there a number seven is my favorite pic. The food is excellent in the coffee is very good as well.#7 Bun Cha Gio Va Thit Nuong | Noodle Salad$13.95Vermicelli with eggrolls, grilled marinated pork with spring greens, scallion, peanuts, pickled daikon/carrots and fish sauce.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options although I am not vegetarian so I didn't purchase any.Dietary restrictions: I know that they will make the food the way you want it. If you have any requests they will accommodate you.Parking: There's a big parking lot with plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly although I've see a lot of adults because they usually go during lunch. It's a very popular restaurant they have a lot of doordash customers. As well as take out and or dine in.“
“I haven't been here since I moved to Maple Grove. I had chance to try their food last week. They didn't have buffet anymore, no dine in cuz they short staffed (no complaints). The restaurant changed a lot, things made me unexpected is food. The egg foo yang and chowmein was changed, it's better than few years ago. Price is reasonable, helpful staff, food quality improvement. Excellent!!!“
“I love how no-nonsense this place is. The mark of a good Asian restaurant is if there are a lot of Asians eating there lol ? I didn't realize they had a room in the back, I've always thought it was just the front. But the back is spacious.I like that they serve a small or large portion of pho. (The small is already too much for me.) The price point is excellent and of course there are many different combinations of meats you can choose. We also ordered egg rolls and wings as appetizers. Both were very good. I also ordered a lychee smoothie with jellies, which was fantastic. The food was so good I forgot to take photos of the rest of them! Next time...“
“We have only ever gotten take out and have ordered online, but the fact that within 5 minutes of placing our order we got a phone call stating that they were out of a few pho garnishes and if we wanted to get something else. Needless to say, I was impressed, the communication and attention to detail from the staff is hard to find. We originally ordered because these were the hit egg rolls from the state fair and they did not disappoint. These egg rolls are huge, like the size of literal hotdogs and packed to the brim with fillings. We have a new regular spot near our new neighborhood and I look forward to our Friday night take out every week.“
“One of the closest Vietnamese restaurants in my area and the foods always great every time I come, especially the beef vermicelli noodles salad. The services were always great and quick. Also they have a big parking lot and lots of other great places nearby, very convenient. The price is also decent compared to other restaurants.“
“I've become a bit Pad Thai obsessed and the Pad Thai at Mandarin Yang was so satisfying. I ordered online for delivery and was pleasantly surprised of the huge portions! The chicken was tender and I loved that the dish had carrots and sautéed onions that added a flavorful crunch. I give Mandarin Yang 5 stars and look forward to exploring their menu further. If you love Chinese and Thai food that's delicious with large portions, check this place out!!!“
“All the food was really good. The phở broth is amazing, though the chicken was a little dry. They really give you a lot of meat, which can be a little much for some people. Call me crazy, but I would've like more noodles and less meat. The rice and apps were fantastic, though the pan-fried dumplings seemed equivalent to store bought. All others were really good...especially the egg rolls, amazing.“
“Don't let the modest atmosphere fool you. The food is fantastic, plentiful serving sizes (we are on day 4 of our leftovers) and beautifully fresh. Amazing pho and pad Thai. A favorite little corner restaurant, always has available seating and helpful staff.“
“I order pickup as this place is near my work. And as I’m eating the pho I always utter obscenities of utter satisfaction. I’ve had it 3 times now and each time it hits the spot and makes me happy. I don’t usually leave reviews and after having bad pho at a different Vietnamese restaurant, I appreciate fresh ingredients and quality food. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Food and service was excellent. I’m eating my leftovers as I write this review, and the leftovers are amazing too. There was three of us, we shared the appetizer sampler and then we each had a different entree. the egg rolls are probably one of the best egg rolls I’ve ever had and I am picky about egg rolls. Their cream cheese rolls instead of wontons were so good! I could eat those all day, every day. Chicken satay and fried dumplings were ok. One of us got the sesame chicken, which was good but it was unlike any sesame chicken I’ve had before, I normally expect a sweet sauce but this was definitely a savory sauce. Again it was good but different than I expected. One of us had the spicy red curry, which was probably my favorite and I would definitely order again! Then the third entree was spicy basil fried rice with chicken which was fantastic! You can pick your spiciness level which I love and there’s extra spice at the table that you can add. I highly recommend this place. So nice and clean, attentive staff, they even had a sign inside that said rude customers would get a $10 fee lol. I love it.“
“Overall, it was a really good place to eat. It was very quiet and you could hear the other person talk. Which I find important. If you love orange chicken, this is a good place to have some. But if you can handle spice!?? Chicken has a little kick to it. But overall, it's very good. Shrimp Lo Mein is one of the best I've tried and lots of yummy vegetables. Also, it's very big portions for very low cost. Would definitely recommend it! ??“
“Ordered tri-tri’s for takeout. Kinda spendy for the price, but really nice on the rice :) Had a fine young man answer the phone and take our order and another young man give us our food and even helped me out calculating the tip ;) The wontons were soooo good (see picture) that they miraculously cured my peyronies disease! Something about the wontons had a little bit of a Pantene taste to them, I just can’t put my finger in it. -little j“
