They only had 1 employee working in the front. I asked, and other employees had called out. The staff was fantastic, despite several customers complaining that it was taking too long (the line was very long). I felt he was doing the best he could and had a good attitude about it. The egg and cheese bagel was excellent. The coffee was slightly above average.
I describe this shop as a "Fast food bagel shop." They do a great job here and I have even enjoyed these bagels from Publix Supermarkets in Florida. I am a Long Island, NY guy and very fussy about my bagels. The staff here was extremely helpful and welcoming and makes you feel good about visiting this location.This shop is downtown and I see it as a quick stop in the morning on the way to work. An absolute gem. I was lucky to stumble across this Bruegger's Bagels location almost by accident.
