“This is a ghost restaurant out of Buca so it is a bit confusing to find you first time. I ordered the normal cheese steak and added mushrooms. I got it on time and the staff was friendly. The flavor was great and the bun was good as well. The reason for 4 stars is there was not much meat in it for a cheesesteak and the price. I mean it was a thin layer of meat and toppings. Because of that, I am not sure I will go back even though it is only a block from work.“
“Used to go to high school over there in that area and go to Preparatory college at McAlester right next to the restaurant didn't know they changed it from the St Croix Broiler to the pizzas Philly steak place but it was a good change cuz it is really good really good atmosphere and the price is right. “I enjoy trying deli sandwiches in different states and countries when I can. I was excited to try the sandwiches here, that is until I got my meal. I got the Newyorkino as it was something new to try. The taste was not bad but wasn't anything spectacular. The main problem is that this sandwich cost $12 to be the size that it was. It was the size of a regular sandwich made with sliced bread. Damn I feel duped for this. I also got a salad to complement the sandwich and I am disappointed with both size and flavor. Here, I opted for a blue cheese salad with candies pecans and apples. The dressing of comes with is extremely shower. You can get a full meal for the same price. I suggest skip the sandwich unless you can afford it.“
“This place was pretty dope. If you are looking for a Chicago Italian beef dipped with peppers and cheese, this is a safe place. It was above average good but the gyro fries stole the show, they weren't over seasoned like too many other places. Best thing about the place was that it was spotless. From the seats to the ketchup and mustard bottles...spotless. keep it up. This is my go to for Italian beef dipped with hot peppers and cheese until I find different.“
“This place deserves a revamp along with every other eating establishment that has stuck around in that food court! The Food has never suffered, the atmosphere and area around it has. Use some of the remodeling money on this food court! Keep the places(Like this Great steak) that stuck around even when it looked like a ghost town!“
“Get there early, as in before noon, if you want the full selection offered. They sell out of items. I arrived after 3 pm and settled for their version of a Cuban, originally interested in the beef bbq. Happily it was awesome. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I will be going back soon.“
“Great place for late-night eats, and a fix of NY-style Pizza on the U of M campus. My usual is the 2-slice pizza with a fountain drink. The Philly Cheesesteaks are alright and they do offer cheese whiz, but I prefer the pizzas more. Do note that restrooms close at 11 pm and do not open anytime after that, so plan accordingly before you eat here.“
