Really good fish and chips. I love cod it’s one of my favorites. And the tartar sauce is amazing, the best tartar sauce I’ve ever had and I’m not even a tartar sauce person… don’t pass up the tartar sauce!The coleslaw was really good too! I’m picky about my coleslaw and this one is a winner.
I live up the block and have to limit my exposure here to once a month to prevent more, ahem, expansive trends. Really big, deep-fried cod fillet and gorgeous chips. I add a little vinegar to the purple, raisiny cole slaw and eat my fish with that, saving a hundred calories by not getting tartar sauce. Don't make the faux pas of ordering malt vinegar... Irish pubs apparently use white. Oh yeah, local ciders, Irish ales, and pasties, burgers, poutine, gravy. Get a reservation online....read full review
