I had gone to their skyway location before and enjoyed a bahn mi from there, so I was glad to see they opened a second location. The person taking my order was very friendly and gave me a lot of recommendations. I later found out she was the owner. Went to Whitey's. Definitely not the vibe. Went to Stray Dog. Got ignored by a suburban lumberjack for 15 minutes and moved on. Wasn't sure where to go next. And then we found Vellee, and I'm so glad we did. The food comes from the husband wife owners family recipe books and the service makes you feel like I guest their home.I cannot recommend this place enough. And I'm so picky. Just go. You won't regret it.
