“Brilliant food, super authentic Venezuela dishes. It was fun to get an arepa as an app. The Yuca was awesome! I wish I would have tried the Tequenos. The atmosphere is so beach and Caribbean breeze. The big windows, light colored decor and subtle tropical hints make for an airy and bright dining space. I absolutely loved the chairs too. I'm about to buy a set for my own dining room. There is a parking lot on the north side of the building (not the huge one across the street on the south side).Vegetarian options: There are several tasty vegetarian options in the apps, shareables, sides and at least one of the six main dishes.Parking: Lot , free, north side of the building.Kid-friendliness: Due to the close quarters of the space and the upscale feel to this place I probably wouldn't choose here to bring my young children.“

“Wonderful brunch with so many great choices and inclusions. Great way to start a Sunday with warm caramel rolls and a glass of champagne. Then come things like shrimp cocktail or yogurt parfait, followed by breakfast -- we had the cinnamon french toast and omelet. Next is the entree -- salmon and ravioli were both done to perfection. I greatly appreciated the chef accommodating my food choices. Service also was very good and friendly! This is a place that makes you feel like you've had a special experience.“

“Amazing live music, fabulous drinks, and the owner Dolly, who is an absolute sweetheart, make for a wonderfully warm and inviting community of people coming together to share their love of music! Love the NOLA vibes too!!! Can't wait to see more shows from some of the Twin Cities legendary artists!“
“Tasty unique cocktails. I think they should bring some food back though, I can drink more when I am eating! All the musical acts were good, especially Fenix Dion. The sound was fine for my ears, but I think the shape of the room made it hard for my phone to get good video.“

“Terrific find in St Paul in the Art Deco St Paul Air Terminal Holman's Table. Lot's of photos of early aviation, a private plane landed and taxi'd up for a lunch meeting. Meals were excellent, the room is a delight over looking Holman Field.“

“We went for dinner with friends and loved the view, atmosphere, and had great service. The drinks for most of us were also excellent. However we all felt that the food and presentation was a three star. So take that into account if you are reading this.I know they are going for the diner/dinette vibe but the shrimp cakes in a cardboard box isn't ideal. The French fries also were good but look like something you would get next door at CHS Field.I had the duck pasta with ricotta cheese and it was a major letdown for me. I should have ordered the burrito. However the menu isn't that large so your options are limited. The pork belly was tasty but had way too much spicy sauce all over it.Will I go back? Honestly it is unlikely. I hope they can improve the food and expand the menu because the location is beautiful and historic. And our server was prompt and took great care of us.“

“A lot bigger than the last time I ate there, like 10 to 15 years ago. Food and service were great, very friendly, clean, our order came pretty quickly, nice decorations, but it was a little loud or noisy. My boyfriend could hear me when I tried talking to him. Had to raise my voice so much that the entire restaurant definitely heard me. Cuz suddenly it went quiet, I never felt that many eyes on me in my entire life. Anxiety overload. My grandson was chilling and relaxed.“

“Chebureki was delicious. Dumplings were a bit plain and overcooked. The drink white knight was very strong but tasty. The tiramisu was light and creamy, I liked the flavor a lot. Overall we had a great time there and enjoyed the food. Service was excellent, will definitely go back to try other things.“

“The best place for sitting down. I've sat in so many places where I had a decent time sitting down but Tappers is different. Sitting at Tappers is just better. Sometimes I eat a pizza while sitting at Tappers and it's always amazing. Sometimes I drinks some drinks at Tappers and they make sitting at Tappers even better. I highly recommend sitting at Tappers.“
“Really a great local pub! With all the chain restaurants & bars, Tappers is like coming home. Hang out and swap stories with the locals, enjoy the wide selections of cold beers, both on tap and bottles and enjoy the best pizzas in town. A pub where the friendly staff really does know your name!“

“Cannot say enough good things about our experience at Zambonis on 7th!! Stopped in Friday and camped out and ate and loved the entire experience! We attempted to give wild bills our business Saturday night, and after awful service we left and returned to zambonis! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are everything you would want from a local bar/restaurant! Ps...ask for Gus! He is hilarious!“

“Great place, good food, weird vibe! The waitress or cook was off. We ordered an appetizer. Our friends ordered a different appetizer after us. Their appetizer arrived. We asked about ours. She told us it will be coming. Our food arrived and we asked again about the appetizer. She seemed confused. The appetizer never arrived and when she brought the bill she said something about never getting the appetizer. The whole exchange was weird. They should also take salads off the menu. That was not available when we were there either.“

“My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and we were impressed by the food and overall experience. The highlight of my meal was the lamb tibs and the vegetarian platter. The lamb tibs were cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spice to give it a flavorful kick. The seasoning was rich and aromatic, making each bite a delightful experience. The vegetarian platter was a feast for veggie lovers like us. It included a variety of vegetable stews, lentils, and other delightful plant-based dishes. Each item was distinct in taste and texture. The portion size was generous, and the dish was served with injera, a soft and spongy flatbread. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and a cozy ambiance. The service was prompt and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this Ethiopian restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, authentic cuisine.Parking: limited space“

“First, the food is amazing! Literally anything you get is very fresh and top quality! It’s very evident that they prepare their ingredients daily. All of their sauces and drink mixers are made in house. Different daily specials that mix it up if you frequent there often like I do.Now, food is one thing…I visit many places with great food (although this place is my top for Mediterranean)…but the thing that really sets this place apart from so many others, is the costumer SERVICE!!!! Not only are they friendly and fun, but they know their menu inside out, they are on top of making sure you have everything, always checking in, and going above and beyond to give you the best experience possible. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had even good service anywhere let alone a place that goes above and beyond!Added bonus - They provide board games that you can sit and play…The first time my hubby and I stopped in for a quick bite, we ended up staying for a couple hours playing cribbage and eating way too much…needless to say we didn’t accomplish any errands that day! lol. And we were ok with it! We found a new favorite spot that we also bring the kids to and they love it just as much!“
“Consistent quality and value at the St. Paul Hotel is guaranteed without the hoopla but more so by the incredible effort of the staff that is effortless. From my early arrival to in-room and venue dining to the daily interactions ~ I am always satisfied.“
“Relaxed, casual, friendly, just generally welcoming. Everything you could want from a place like the Cro.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance to the bar on the left is a ramp right into the place. However I didn't see any automatic door openers.“

“Al's Corral isn't scared to be what it is: a hole in the wall that everyone is glad they found. From the staff to the patrons, this place is good. Here is what I didn't expect: the amazing burgers. For having the world's smallest menu and kitchen, they found how to do something great, and they follow through. I will definitely be back.“
“Great group of folks here at the VFW. The accomodations here are extensive with a full service lounge upstairs and a large room downstairs for larger gatherings. Great for a wedding reception. There's an elevator that accesses every floor and is handicap accessible. My band plays here and we always are appreciated and have a good time.“

“This is a special place for me since only my unique coworkers plus myself visit here frequently!! The owners are very generous to let us blow off some MUCH NEEDED STEAM & Mr. "Warm & Courteous"Bartender( You Know Who) -Thanks for Listening & your Kind Bar Service/Security ;-) :-)“
“Nice local bar in the bottom of a house feel. The bartender is Midwest MN awesome. A life long resident feel with a lifelong residential feel to an old historic Polish Hall. These are become rarer and rarer, definitely worth the stop for the life experience.“

“This is a great old-school neighborhood bar and grill. I was in here today for the Friday fish special and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly and the food portions were on the large side compared to the price. I always love coming into this place for a quick and tasty lunch. Great job!“
“For me neighborhood bars are the heartbeat of the community. A good place to get information on things to eat, see and do. The Spot has that feel. A smaller place with room for 6-10 at the bar and 4-6 booth/tables. The flavor in the air was a musty grandmas living room with a hint of an ashtray. A pinball machine, darts and machine fed pull tabs are available as well as paperback books and a big Bible. The bartender was the kind that uses a lot sarcasm to keep things in order and that’s not bad especially when you see the same people most of the time. A shot and a beer was 9$. If I was ever in the neighborhood again I’d check out another place for variety but would have no issue with going back. Enjoy!“
“Good local bar atmosphere. Friendly and fun bartenders; one started started a conversation with me like I'd been coming there years. Good draft selection with Kona Big Wave on tap. League volleyball was going on outside. Wish I coulda stayed for more than just one beer.“

“We enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends here - very old school. The seating and ambiance is not high end, but does not need to be upscale - we're here for the fish! The walleye dishes (three different preparations and deep fried nuggets) were all excellent. The portions are filling. If you are a walleye lover, get here before they shutter the place in June. How very sad.“
“What a great list of local MN tap beers....inside/attached to a theater! Very nice seating and TV in the bar. You can bring the beers to your movie. Excellent service. Christina, the bartender, is a top-notch master-of-service gem. Very knowledgeable beer slinger and lets each guest know when their movie is seating. I'm impressed.“

“This is a great classic style Italian restaurant. The kind of place that brings out bread ? before the meal in this keto friendly world. We really enjoyed our experience. I had the Eggplant ? Parmesan, and the wife had spaghetti ? and meatballs. She ended up with leftovers as the portions are generous. I did not. Highly recommend if you enjoy Italian food.“

“A cozy, wood and window bar and grill that is so welcoming, I am charging my power wheel chair in here welcomed to do it by a beautiful and happy waitress. Not a drinker, but bet I get food here in the near future! On corner across from Mears Park who failed my electric access w pad locks! lol. Life is an adventure and its businesses like this that make a crisis, not one. Makes it a warm visit instead. Home town Saint Paul is represented here. Thank you Bulldog!“
“I went with friends to see the Jimmy's. It was my first time there. If you want a server, go somewhere else. But if you're looking for an awesome venue with great music, you'll love this place. It packs up quickly, so plan on getting there early and grab a burger.“

“Placed a special order for 6 hot Dagos to bring up North requested by friends. Couldn't have been happier with the amazing service and assistance from the wonderful staff. Kitchen was popping when I arrived, yet they still had my order prepared and ready for transport. They were a hit and we ate well. I didn't get names of the cook or waitress who helped me put this together, but they were wonderful!“
“Best priced drinks I've seen in a long time, friendly local bar with happy patrons and prompt service from bartender. For food I believe they have Heggies pizzas however it appeared the patrons bring in potluck style food to share with everyone. Pulltab's available too. We were not locals and were treated well“

“PSA: this does NOT really have video game arcades. If it's after hours and Starcade is closed, you're not going to find nerdery here. These are not the droids you are looking for.I had had a great date that continued well into close and my date and I were looking for another place to just hang out at. We're both nerds, thought oh hey, Arcade Bar, that's perfect. To it's credit there is a claw machine and a Jurassic Park pinball game it's as much a video game arcade as much as a Perkins lobby. That being said, we did end up staying there until bar close because it had what we were looking for. Drinks, ample seating and a place where we could chat. It's cash only but the drinks are very affordable. It's chill and turned out to be exactly what we needed. Thanks Arcade Bar!“

“Love this course. It was my first visit. Beautiful design, nice clean greens. Very well maintained. I only played the executive 9 hole and will play the 18 championship course tmrw morning. I'll be back with an update on that.Cons: It's super hard to book with the anniversary membership. I can't speak for walk ons or platinum members. I could tell the staff was a bit frustrated, being it was opening day. It was crowded.“
“Small little bar that’s CASH ONLY. A White Claw can was only $4.25! I think that’s the lowest I’ve ever been charged! Not too busy so I got a lot of attention and good service. There’s an atm, a dartboard, one pool table and a change machine for quarters. There’s about 8 taps and 4 dozen bottles of hard alcohol. I don’t think there’s a kitchen or a menu. Just some bags of chips and 3 boxes of pull tabs.“

“Camp is an overall great bar! From their awesome and attentive servers (Britt, Josh, Nate, Frank, Tim and Brian) to their awesome selection of tap beer and mixed cocktails, darts, pool, trivia and live singing nights to their comedy cabaret next door, they have a little bit of everything (plus Heggies pizza)! The bar is very, VERY LGBTQIA+ friendly, the vibe is chill and it's a great place to hang.“

“We went to Ember & Ice for a business dinner on a Monday evening. It was pretty empty and easy to get a table. The servers were so friendly and patient with us. We ordered a variety of appetizers including charcuterie, Buffalo cauliflower and the Skol Tower. The buffalo cauliflower was so good! I found the menu to be a bit pricey but everything was good so it was worth it. I loved the ambience of the restaurant with a fireplace and the cozy small tables. I would definitely come back.“
“Very casual spot, more lively and friendly than just a dive. Mostly older white folks, fun music, free popcorn, cheap beer, and patio for chilling and a smoke. Shared parking lot with the liquor store right off the freeway above the great Miss.“
“I'm so glad Shadey's is back in action! I don't get over to this part of town enough anymore but knowing Shadey's is going again will definitely have an impact. This is a great, friendly bar with great staff, friendly regulars, and prices that make you say "inflation? What's inflation? Never heard of it." The owner grills burgers on football Sundays. Just a great place, great vibe.“

“I went on a Saturday and was surprised at how little the crowd was. I read some reviews and I think they are a bit over played out about how the company doesn’t brew their own beer. So what, like seriously relax and have fun because that’s what I was able to do. Mind you when I first got there I did wonder if there was a bar tender, she had just stepped away to use the restroom.. I did have to remind her what a White Russian consisted of which was a little surprising but not a big deal either. I had fun shooting some pool and throwing darts. I like the patio area outside and that I had a place to vape without blowing clouds in ppls faces. Overall I enjoyed myself and I would go there again. I saw a sign that said $4 bloody Mary’s on Sundays and mimosas so I think I’ll be going back this Sunday.“
