“Our visit was pretty good. I had the special, but it wasn't as advertised, so that was disappointing. My wife had something that looked good, but she didn't comment. We ordered extra appetizers just to try, and we were surprised to receive deep fried items, which is not what the menu said. They were delicious anyway. Service was friendly and prompt. More importantly the server knew the business and the menu well. Overall we will be back next time we are in town.”

“Tacoasis is very good food , great menu list of choices the rice and Taco burger is amazing the rice is very delicious, the taco burger is so good the bun it is served on is amazing the meat is so flavorful. The meals are great u get very big portions and a very very reasonable price , everything on the menu is delicious my family and I and our friends love tacoasis the quality is amazing and it taste better than most restaurants and the staff is very nice and the owner is a very nice guy one of the nicest guys we have ever meet , would recommend tacoasis definitely 10/10. Thanks tacoasis for always having great delicious food .”

“Original post did not go through. Outstanding pizza, salads, pasta, chicken, and oh boy for lunch you must get a sandwich. You will have supper as well. I recommend having a fall harvest BLT pizza with Tzatziki sauce. Well what isn’t good with Tzatziki sauce??? “A quick serve place, but the food is outstanding! Great combinations it was hard to choose so I bought lunch and dinner. I had the Bulgogi Beef Poke Bowl and 3 tacos: Pork Bahn Mi, Spicy Cauliflower, and Fish. All really good.”

“Our family loves the James Gang! Whether we're dining in or grabbing something to go, it's always such an uplifting experience. We're always greeted with a friendly, smiling staff member and the food is hot, fresh and delicious. I placed an online order recently and even though I was running about 8 minutes late to pick it up, my breakfast sandwich was nice and hot and the girls had my drink ready and steamed the milk right as I arrived so it was nice and hot for me. Quality food and drinks, encouraging atmosphere and caring staff, the James Gang has a 5 star rating in our family!”

Bread People’s cookies, including the PB cookie, completely blow it out of the water. “As someone who owns my own coffee shop and coffee roasting business, I always look for the small town shops when I go anywhere. While visiting Northfield, my wife and I tried several coffee shops and this was the clear winner. We stopped on two different days and had espresso drinks made by two different people…both times they were very good. Adding an extra shot of espresso at all times to assess the taste is a must. Crisp and bold taste with just the right amount of bite. Our Northfield visit was made better with Goodbye Blue Monday Coffeehouse.”

“I hurried into the store over 20 minutes after my drink was ready, resigned to the probability that my hot mocha would be lukewarm. To my surprise and delight, the barista offered to warm it up for me. That involved re-steaming it with the espresso machine, not just popping it into a microwave. It was a fabulous mocha and great customer experience.”

So far my favorites are everything I've tried: oatmeal rolls, Minnesota rice rolls, MN rice with craisins bread, caramel rolls and my new favorite, a savory egg scone topped with cheese and herbs. Their products are baked from scratch using quality ingredients and it shows. The food quality along with great service makes this a winning choice!”

“Visited for the first time today. Tried the berries and whip crepe, and the Nutella and banana crepe. Both were so delicious. Add in their awesome coffee creations and you're hooked. Enjoyed the company of the house dog, Zen. The staff was very friendly, and Bree was so nice. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing Mandarin noodles. My husband loved the sesame chicken. We haven't had Chinese food this good in a while. We were there with our 5 yr old grandson and he loved the noodles, wontons and the sesame chicken. We were able to share our entrees with him”

“The food is great, typical Perkins with good portions at fair prices. Our waitperson was upbeat, she got everything as ordered. The breakfasts were brought out hot and delicious...I really love their omelets! (Even the 55+ menu offers enough food)
There is ONE BIG ISSUE, not with the staff or food.... it's that its NOT easily wheelchair accessible.... there's no push buttons to open the entrance, and there's a BIG bump , NOT smooth, to get over the thresholds... Perkins, you can do better! Its obviously do-able, but you'll NEED someone pushing and helping you get your front wheels over the thresholds.
Again, food, service, employees, prices, GREAT! Just please make it so anyone not bipedal can enter with as much ease as others.”

“Food is good, but my order is never right! I ordered soup, received no crackers, no ketchup for my fries and I ordered a chicken sandwich with extra Mayo, and had NO Mayo! This has happened several times! Very frustrating!”

“Saturday morning, Kat and I wandered up to Northfield, MN to catch their Farmers Market and enjoy brunch at a local tradition - The Ole Store Restaurant. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood near the campus of St. Olaf College, the restaurant was once a grocery store. They offer great atmosphere, friendly service, and an enticing, quirky menu. We got brave and ordered a fusion breakfast, Ranch Eggs - two eggs (one a double yolker), pulled pork, refried black beans, tortillas, and salsa. We added a Bloody Mary and English muffins. We weren’t disappointed! We recommend a visit.”
