“My fiancee is from a Mexican family and so we go to a lot of bakeries like this in the Twin Cities and in Milwaukee (where her family is from). This is hands-down the best one I've been to in terms of selection, value and service.I've tried about 6 different sweet breaks and all are delicious although my favorite are the molasses ones shaped like a pig. Fiancee also likes the bolillo which are basically the Mexican sandwich bread. They are a big bigger and softer than a french bread and are delicious. They have plain ones and also ones that are in the cases and are stuffed with cream cheese and jalapenos. Delicious! Finally, we only go here for birthday cakes anymore as the tres leches are the best I've ever had. On all of these items, the price is what stands out. If you went to a high-end grocery store and got a bunch of sweet breads, regular bread and a full, massive tres leches cake, you'd be in for way over $100. Here, you're way under $100. It's nice to come to a place and feel like they're not trying to rip you off and that's how I feel here. Finally, a shout out to the workers here. Always the same folks and always super friendly and helpful. You're fine to come if you don't speak Spanish as well, so don't be shy!“

“I found this bakery when searching for a bakery that would be able to make a birthday cake for my daughterThat has a tree nut allergy.Milly, the owner of the bakery was more than happy to take all precautions to make sure that her work site was completely clean and free of any possible cross contaminations and went out of her way to assure us that my daughter would have a safe cake for her birthday!The cake was ready on time, and looked beautiful and tasted like a dream! “This is the best bakery in town! It's high quality, the pastry tastes like something made with care. One of my favorites ,that I can't get anywhere else, it their nut bread. When I was a kid we got it from the Dixie cream bakery, it doesn't exist anymore. Everything I've ever gotten there is good. I can recommed the cinnamon crisps too, much much better than Cub's. check for hours because Mike is recovering from open heart surgery. I'm SOOO glad he's doing well enough to come back to making the best treats anywhere. (My grandkids love his big frosted sugar cookies!) I've been going there for 40 years!“

“The baked goods were displayed BEAUTIFULLY, that said, it was a bit of a ghost town, I could see employees, but I must have been invisible, on the day that I visited, because not one person came out to approach me or say anything to me. “Heard about them on the local news and my local neighborhood FB page. Had to give them a try. Delicious food. Ordered the Alex and the Minnesota Chickena and Wild rice. “We’ve been coming here for a few years and always enjoyed it. My review is for experience and gluten free options. We brought a friend up to the cities with us who is gluten free. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find somewhere that had more than one option for her for a treat. I called here to confirm multiple options. SO HELPFUL and so friendly about our dietary restriction. When we got here we were met with the same great assistance from the phone. Thank you Torin! She got a fresh gluten free cupcake and freshly iced it for us. Obviously items still made with other gluten items but wasn’t necessary for our situation.“

“The lady who helped me was so welcoming and nice. I would go back for the customer service alone! My husband has a love for red velvet. Over the 15 years we’ve been together I have purchased just about every red velvet cake or cookie I come across. “My boyfriend and I love the pupusas here the service is okay the place is clean but most of the time they have religious music that is super boring to us. we have nothing against religions but is not something we want to listen to while eating we feel like we are in church plus there is other people from other cultures I just think the music should be more inclusive.“

“I have been going to this restaurant once a week for several months now. Every time I’m here we spend 2-3 hours occupying a table studying. I have never felt more welcome at a restaurant, the staff never rushes us and continues to serve us until we are ready to leave.The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh and served incredibly fast. Worth every single penny. Honestly, I'd even pay more for that one. I have never had such a soft and moist cupcake in my life. ?It is expensive compared to department store cupcakes, but that's to be expected. I wasn't surprised by the price at all. We paid $4.75 for each cupcake and went back for two cake-sicles for later ($4/ea).The options and display are welcoming, beautiful and inviting. The space is clean and comfortable.
