Cafes in Onamia

“Please note that there is no longer a cafe but a liquor store where it once was. I am traveling with my husband in his company's over the road truck from South Carolina and found ourselves in Minnesota to deliver a load. I wanted to spend his reset away from the big light populations so maybe on my first westward trip I would get to experience the night sky full of amazing stars. We chose to stay here even though it isn't actually a truck stop because of that very reason and many reviews on trucker path said it was worth the visit. The staff here has been amazing and so friendly. The owner treated us like she had known us forever. It was so nice to see locals hanging out this morning talking about all the local things going on around town. If ever I get back here... I'm coming to say hello! Also great country roads to walk and see beautiful sunsets! Super quiet as well and just down from Lake Onamia!“

“Great food and atmosphere very unique dining area and items on the walls. Food was fresh and made from scratch. Everything omelette was huge and fresh. French toast was decent. Fresh blueberries! Service was very friendly and attentive. Price was decent being a small independent. If your on your way up north and pass by this place definitely worth a stop!“
