We went for trivia with Trivia Mafia and it was so much fun. Great food, great service (Spencer in the kitchen was awesome and very accommodating to a couple special needs we had with our group). “Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.“

“Great little find. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks and alcohol they are serving. They even have a selection of spirit free drinks that taste amazing! As a person who does not drink, it is great to find a place that actually makes true cocktails without spirits. Will be back.“

“I think its a great place but they over charged me when I looked over my bank account the next day seeing more than 10k when I'm sure I only spent around 8k had to file fraud alerts, but overall it wasn't bad it just my bank that gave me the confusion through it all. I totally recommend the place.“

“Omg this is a must do!!! They have an Italian Giglio feature right now that is just so awesome. We booked a reservation about a month out which you have to do as it books out quick! You do need to pay in advance which I don't love but also makes sense and makes it easier at the end of the night. We were in the upper part of the restaurant and we just had a blast. Not only was the food fabulous, the service is quick, witty and top notch plus they have events and small moments throughout the evening to make it fun. We did trivia during dinner but they also had music playing and interactive food stations. For this feature the mozzarella and cacio e Pepe from the cheese wheels are to die for. I wanted to eat just that for my entire meal! Highly highly recommend.“

“Food and service is phenomenal. Usually they have someplace to sit, but I recommend making reservations since sometimes they can get busy and don't have any seating available. I also like to sit in the separate dining area and the reservation guarantees I will get to sit there.The wings are some of the best I have had. Especially the Wing of the Moment. They are not afraid to bring some heat so be prepared for that! Fantastic burgers as well. They also make a great Reuben!The Becky from Philly was my favorite sandwich here - Please bring it back!!!Parking: Parking lot is right next to residential housing. “Delicious drinks and food! Great service!“

“Such a cute place with a funky menu and fun atmosphere. Service getting in with the wait was fine, the worker was super friendly. The waiter we had never came to check on us after we got our drinks, so we waited over an hour and after he came back we couldn’t order food as it was after kitchen hours. We tried getting him to come to our table by waving and making eye contact but it didn’t work. Other than that, the drinks were good!“

“My expectations were probably too high walking in. The food was good, not as outstanding or as interesting as I would have thought. The grilled sea salt oyster on the way in was tasty. They brought us well prepared chicken, some sushi small bite, and other things I can't remember a month later that were enjoyable. The cake was dry and not worth the calories (or cost). The dietary restriction I indicated was missed but they were able to adjust in the moment. The atmosphere was lovely upstairs. We ate in the covered outdoor area at a shared table.“

“Warm intimate space with incredible and unique cocktails. I was excited to actually enjoy whiskey, and they did not disappoint. I've never had anything like these cocktails before. We tried the Sotoku, Nagano, and the Kado Old Fashioned. All of them were perfectly crafted and a pleasure to taste. I look forward to returning to try more of their amazing offerings!“

“Okay well as you see I rated this 4 stars and there is multiple reasons for that. I rated this lower but really it's a 4.5. And that's only because the noise... whenever I go eat there it is so unbelievably loud and I can't hear anyone talking to me so unless you go there in the morning it is really loud. But other than that the food is great and especially the breakfast food the Service is great and the waiters are really friendly one waitresses name is Mickey and she is like a family friend at this point so if you go there in the morning there is a 40% chance you will get her. “Local watering hole / music venue. Maybe the tightest place to see live local music in Mpls without a cover (tip the band!). Last night, I watched a four man combo with a vibraphone. They knew how to smooth out all the kinks. The crowd appreciated the weeknight wonder. Bar pizza, order better from next door.Parking: Crowded and popular. Maybe park up the block and walk, or take the Metro transit routes 11 or 17.“

“This was a nice surprise. We were looking for a spot to grab dinner before a concert and ended up eating and staying for drinks for a couple of hours. The drinks Dave made us were fantastic. The food was very good. Overall a great spot to stop at for food in the area. Between the great conversation with Willie one of the managers, and Dave behind the bar, it was a great experience and I know this will be where I go next time I'm up in Minneapolis.“

“The pull tabs lady (blonde) was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in a service industry position. I didn’t even feel comfortable going back to her today to retrieve the money that I won. Servers and bartenders were great even though it was pretty busy, and the food was great. :)“

“Freehouse located right in North Loop has a great patio! My two favorite menu items, dynamic duo drink and Brussels sprouts appetizer. Absolutely fantastic every time! We also tried out the cheese curds, wings and roto bird baguette, all were also very good. The two sauces with the cheese curds really level it up. Recommend Freehouse if you're looking for a good patio, lively atmosphere and consistent food/drinks.“

“Saw Citizen Soldier here last night and I gotta say, staff was extremely well on top of their game. One person got me water before the bar opened and later, when I felt dizzy from either low blood sugar or just not being able to breathe because it was so packed, one staff member let me sit on the stairs and hovered nearby in case I needed anything. The venue itself is a bit cramped for a concert that size which is my only complaint? Maybe installing some fans would help with cramped over heating feeling, but I'm not sure if that works with concerts. Over all the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be kind. It made the experience extra worth it.“

“Super fun watering hole . Great bar tenders that make you feel welcomed and make strong drinks. ( kinda like the famous CHEERS ! ). Gets busy so get there early ! Fantastic food if you like to eat before you get get lit. Be careful the Greenies will sneak up on without warning ! The biannual golf trips to Vegas are a must even if you're not a golfer. I highly recommend this bar if you're all about fun !“

“Don't let the fancy name trip you up. This is a diiiiiive bar. It's a long, narrow barroom with an open "kitchen" (really just a griddle and fryer setup) over to the side of the bar. There's no cook. No servers. Just a couple of friendly bartenders slinging cheap drinks and, I sh-- you not, the best freaking burgers in Minneapolis. They also have chicken sandwiches and pizzas, and I'm sure they're delicious. But the perfectly seasoned, perfectly griddled smash burgers are really where it's at. The atmosphere is divey and friendly. Lots of regulars coming in and out, nice patio area, etc. Everything is very clean, but there are no frills. If you love places like that as much as I do, do yourself a favor and head to NEYC now.“

“This is by far the nicest Sportsbar/pool hall I have ever been in. Super good food and the place is unbelievably clean. Owner Jerry and staff were super friendly and I got the meet Litte Joe Villalpondo while I was there. Thanks Jerry, it was fun.“

“Awesome door guy, who just got a pug. Chill vibe, other patrons were friendly, They have pull tabs and e tabs, makes it easy to be a charitable person. At least that's what I tell myself when I don't win. Hahaha. I give 4 stars on service, because the place was not busy and we had to wait for drinks and to pay. There is no reason why the bartender shouldn't hustle just cuz it's slow. They were nice enough, but come on person. Pep in step would be nice. The bar carries Pryes Royal Peach, which I love. A shot of Casamigos reposado was $15. Which is insanely steep, considering it cost less at the music venue I work at. I normally get Casadores, because it's not sweet, but Casamigos is an ok substitute. So, believe me when I say I know the average cost of this shot around town. Three other items I purchased were reasonably priced. But this $15 shot was just straight up insane. Whoever is doing the pricing needs to go out and do some scouting and check prices on stuff at other bars. That one is too much, especially cuz you're not a giant venue, stadium, or the airport. That being said, nice spot. Great patio. Would %100 recommend checking it out on your next NE bar crawl.“

“I always love coming to The Depot Tavern before a show at First Ave. They have excellent vegetarian options, service is great and food is always very fresh, hot and delicious. I miss the sauce trio with fries, but like the new menu items a lot! Depot staff do a great job here and they are always friendly and efficient with service. It' so also nice that you can buy tickets here for upcoming shows at the ticket window. Cheers!“

“First time here. Didn't even know where it was, hidden from the main roads. Dive bar atmosphere but I love dive bars. Nice menu selections. Pretty good beer selection. I had fish tacos, which isn't really a dive bar pick, but they were great. One of the people at our table had the chicken pot pie and it looked fabulous. Great server. I'm coming back here now that I know where it is. Hidden gem.“

“We stopped in on a Saturday night to grab some food after bowling. Loved the atmosphere and they had a good crowd, but we were able to grab a table in the tented area. The service was fast and friendly, but the Lobster roll I had was the star of the show. Planning another trip in the near future and will try to squeeze in some Saturday afternoon bingo while we’re at it.“

Server was great,and typical American bar food but that's what we were looking for The Cajun dry rub chicken wings were pretty good and the boneless buffalo wings were okay too. Portion sizes we're bigger than I expected so that was a plus Overall I would come here again to check out some of their other grub“

“Newly remodeled. Ordered the everything pizza (it was just ok), fish and chips were great, and so were the fried mushrooms. Overall, the food was good. We arrived at a peak time and got the last 2 available seats at 6 pm on a Friday (and the last parking spot in the lot). The bartender/server was very attentive and friendly. The fish and mushrooms were excellent and obviously made fresh to order. Being so busy, there was a lag or a bit of a kitchen miscommunication on food being ready, we waited 45 minutes, so a drink was given on the house - very nice. They were having a meat raffle, which was easy to participate in because the person handling it came to our table. The ceiling is high, so the acoustics made it a bit of a challenge to hear my friend talking, so we had to lean in to hear each other. I'd for sure go back because it's in such a convenient spot, and their tap beer selection was pretty good with something for everyone.“

“Food, service, and atmosphere were all pretty average across the board. It was the usual bar and booths set up with friendly servers and tall drinks. We ordered the buffalo chicken eggrolls which were delicious, and the edamame which were good but had a bit too much soy sauce. I had a buffalo chicken salad. It was HUGE with only a few pieces of chicken on it, but I definitely couldn't finish it so the amount of chicken was fine. Drinks are always BOGO and they are always good.“

The cheese curds came out and they were amazing. We were busy talking and not paying attention to the time. Our waitress came out and apologized for the wait on the pizza and offered to comp the cheese curds and a beer. We weren't looking for anything for free. Once the pizza came out all we could say was fabulous. We had the Primo and it had so much flavor. They were playing great classical music that wasn't so loud we couldn't hold a conversation. “A hidden gem can be found inside the Marriott Hotel in Brooklyn Park. The food and service here are top notch! We ordered the wings and requested the Tennessee hot sauce. The sauce had a nice kick and was perfect for our liking! The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and the flavors were unique and delicious. I'm not usually a fan of blue cheese, but the combination of all the seasonings was one of the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had! The ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The staff informed us that the steaks are always fresh, never frozen, and I could definitely taste the difference when I took the first bite. The staff were friendly and provided amazing service!“
