Most burgers are waaaaayyy too big/tall for me to even take a proper bite out of.My father and I were in Minneapolis and decided after a long day of taking care of family matters, to get a hearty meal. It was 9pm on a weekday and we were limited on what was available. Thankfully, we found Red Cow.I was very happy with our experience at this establishment. The server was great and so was the manager. The burgers were juicy and cooked to order. I was super excited to see they had truffle parm fries and my dad felt the same about tater tots being on the menu. My dad got a cute little beer which was the perfect size for him, since he doesn’t drink much. I did order a mocktail, but barely drank it because it was too sour. The manager comped it, which was nice. I will definitely be back!“

“I live in the neighborhood and have come for trivia a few times now. The tacos and nachos are delicious. I went specifically to try the Serrano Dona Fria Mexican Lager and was NOT disappointed. They also sell “You Betcha!” thc chocolate and their own thc seltzers. Excited to have them in our neighborhood and will be back for the Serrano!“

(late on the review)Food: Both our stakes were cooked to perfection, the bread plate is something to look forward to and the recommended wine was perfectly matched to our entrees.Service: The service it self will make you want to come back, the minute you walk in you are being greeted and complimented. Every person that we spoke to wished us a happy anniversary, they even had heart confetti spread out on our table (did not look tacky at all). At the end of dinner they brought out a complimentary desert plate. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated!Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Been a long time since last I visited Fat Nats, a Twin Cities landmark. Frankly, I forgot how good it is. Get here early, or be prepared to wait in line - but not too long, since they have lots of tables, and they work fast, making tons of food every day. Fat Nats is locally famous for their pancakes, which have extra vanilla and above average taste of yeast. They also make a variety of egg dishes, some delivered with their house salsa, which is a peppy, chunky red delight. They also have a green salsa, a blended tongue warmer. Don't get either if you don't like spicy heat. I love spicy heat. Prices without coffee are under $15, and you might need a container for half of it. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. Great food, great place to eat.“

“Can I give EATO, ten stars? Food - the best I have had in years; the service - flawless, perfect mix of professional and friendly; the atmosphere - welcoming and casual. I would not have changed a thing! I had a large group of people coming into Minneapolis from all over the country and a few local friends recommended EATO for the group farewell dinner. A few weeks ago I stopped in and talked to the manager, Jason, and he suggested a half restaurant buyout for the group with tables over by the bar. (Excellent idea, it worked out great!) Then he connected me with Chloe who helped me pick menu items so my guests could choose a salad course and an entree course from five options, with optional protein additions, she also printed out custom menus to welcome my guests. Super easy process, and Chloe had great suggestions,. When we arrived Jesse, Connor, and Chloe were ready and waiting at the bar to handle the group of 30 people, serving them drinks with fresh flowers in them, special tap beers, and bubbly Prosecco. I think part of the group also had some killer Old Fashions they raved about. Connor and Jesse were our servers and they moved through the tables taking orders, delivering the food, filling water glasses, getting drinks, etc. The table service was impeccable, these guys know how to treat guests like honored family. (What more could you ask for?!) I don't know the chef's name, but kudos to the kitchen. The food came out quickly, and was plated beautifully. Without fail, every guest told me that their meal was fantastic. I personally had the beet salad (yum!) and the chicken Parmesan. It was the best chicken parm I have ever had, not kidding. “Omg this is a must do!!! They have an Italian Giglio feature right now that is just so awesome. We booked a reservation about a month out which you have to do as it books out quick! You do need to pay in advance which I don't love but also makes sense and makes it easier at the end of the night. We were in the upper part of the restaurant and we just had a blast. Not only was the food fabulous, the service is quick, witty and top notch plus they have events and small moments throughout the evening to make it fun. We did trivia during dinner but they also had music playing and interactive food stations. For this feature the mozzarella and cacio e Pepe from the cheese wheels are to die for. I wanted to eat just that for my entire meal! Highly highly recommend.“

“we keep going back because the place is wonderful. the food is great, the wait staff is on top of their game. the atmosphere is fun, the owner /chef walks around and talks to the diners and gets feed back. Great wine list and great food whether you want Italian or a great steak or seafood. A real treasure in the NW Twin Cities. Portions are generally on the large side and the price is very reasonable. When you get out of the city you have so fewer taxes (and they do add up). He keeps the prices down as his base of customers are from the Champlain/Osseo/ Maple Grove area and they support the place. It is worth a drive to eat this quality of food and enjoy wines, you may not find anywhere else.“
