I would have tipped better had I known this was a thing right off the bat, and I would have tipped significantly better if it wasn't a thing at all. Obvious comparisons to benihana aside, the food here is incredible, and so is the show. Our chef Victor, was constantly engaging with us as he expertly cooked our food. Our server Allan was also wonderful, never once ran out of drinks. The food is of course pricey, but that comes with hibachi. The shrimp, calamari, lobster and filet were delicious, though the lobster and filet were quite small. Biggest plus is unlike benihana, you don't have to wait for a full hibachi table, just the three of us got our own show.“

“Small space, when we went in we were lucky enough to find a table and didn't have to stand and wait.Service was fast but felt a little rushed. My sushi was delicious, however, my husband didn't like his hibachi combo too much. The soft-shell crab was good but I went without the katsu sauceThis location only has paid street parking and a parking garage that is free on weekends. Other than that I would recommend it, because sushi is their speciality and you can taste it in the quality.“

With your classic sushi place feel, service that's polite and simple, this is a great place to get some good food. “We just had dinner here tonight for a friend's birthday! Great rolls, great service! Feel the pricing is a bit high, but then again when is quality sushi cheap?! Overall happy with the meal. Do wish we had some better recommendations on the sparking sake and the edamame had so much salt on it, which was strange. Would recommend for a nice sushi meal West of Minneapolis, in a cute town - Excelsior. A lot of nice shops and other restaurants in the area!“
“The BMW and MN rolls were fantastic. Service was not ultra speedy as the rolls are being made fresh however the quality was exceptional. Pricing is comparable to other Sushi restaurants of similar standing. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It was an enjoyable experience.“
“I was working in Maple Grove this day and saw Ten Sushi while sitting at a light. Drove over just before 3pm and waited for them to open. I was first in the door and sat at the bar where the chefs work. I was greeted quickly and was given insight on the menu which was nice. The chefs were efficient and the food was fresh and neatly put together. I wass please with the visit and was on my way in good time. I will stop there again. Good people!“
“Had the pleasure of being introduced to this place several years ago. Although I live a distance away, this is my preferred sushi joint. The variety of food is great, even enjoy some off menu items, and it’s been consistent every time. Quality of the fish is solid and the sashimi cuts are thick.I appreciate the healthy selection of sake and Japanese whiskeys. I was recently dining at a well known sushi restaurant in Los Angeles area, where I’ve been before, and it left me disappointed when compared to getting a regular “Fix”.I’ve come to really enjoy the staff and their dynamic makes it entertaining every time. “Solid sushi spot in the suburbs! My friends and I were nearby for another event and were craving sushi so decided to give this spot a try. Interior was pretty and blue and our server was super friendly. We started with the wonton soup, served in individual bowls and it was okay. Nothing stellar but hit the spot during the cold. The rolls themselves were fresh, loaded, and tasty. Not sure if it's a spot I would drive out of my way to go to, but if I am in the area, I'll definitely stop by!“

“Came here for lunch on a dreary Monday with the specter or hope (depending on your view) of a pending solar eclipse. Yet it was lively inside with business folks at lunch. Excellent prices with "happy hour" prices all day. (Maybe because it's Monday?). Would have paid more in home state of California so it was a pleasant surprise. My friend and I shared a delicious crunchy roll, some sushi selections and an appetizer of crunchy rice that was a "customers' favorite" (but maybe not at my table...!). Presentation was beautiful.“
“Went here during lunch with coworkers. All you can eat is only $18 at lunch during weekdays. The menu is shortened compared to the dinner menu--mostly fewer specialty roll options. I was pregnant at the time, but still had 3 different rolls that did not contain any raw fish + spring rolls. Everything I tried was delicious and couldn't beat the price. Would be interested in returning after pregnancy for dinner to try my more usual options. It is important to know that they close between lunch and dinner, so there's a "last call" for ordering around 2:10 or so.Vegetarian options: One of my rolls was avocado peanut, I think they had 2 others without meat as well.“
