“I am thankful to live within an easy drive and have never been disappointed except the one time it was simply to busy. Today was the last day with fish on the menu being Good Friday. Decided to head down. Had the Fo-fishy sammich. Crazy good. Sorry for no pic. 2 large pieces of cod with the Fo-cheesy (Grilled Parmesan crusted sourdough with American cheese and a pepper jack cheese wiz) along with a side of tots. The service is also great. No matter who your server is everyone asks if you need anything. If you are looking for good food with pleasant service make the trip, they have good grub.“
“At the Broadway, the food is very good and priced right. Arlo was bartending and provided outstanding service and conversation. The atmosphere defines a " small town bar." Check out the website for a variety of events, food menu, drink specials, bingo, and live music.“
“I can't rave about this place enough!Listen. If you're looking for a freaking amazing meal at a great price, THIS is the place. I haven't had a meal that I thought was mediocre in the least. They're fresh, delicious, filling and come out steaming hot!Servers here are always friendly and attentive. They're there to brighten your day and do a heck of a great job at it.If you like to watch sports while you're eating and/or having cold beer, this is the place. Again, I can't say enough about this place and the food.I hope this helps. Cheers.“
“Some of the best food that side of the Pecos. Been there twice in the last couple weeks it's amazing. highly recommendedVegetarian options: There is a chef working there I'm sure he can accommodate any type of special orderDietary restrictions: I had a diabetes-friendly optionParking: I didn't count them but I bet there's parking 400Kid-friendliness: It is a bar and restaurant but I've seen kids playing outside that live in the marina. They played with my puppy dog.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lots on the same level as the restaurant it's a quick roll“
“This is one of my favorite brunch spots in the Twin Cities! All of the dishes on their menu are so delicious and well-balanced. I especially love their teasers -- each small bite is packed with flavor and is a delight to the taste buds. I definitely recommend trying the full flight of teasers as an appetizer, it's such a tasty and fun experience. Their cocktails are great too, and in particular I love their Bloody Mary: they garnish it with pickles and a cheese stick, which I think is awesome! Not only is their food delicious, but the atmosphere is excellent as well. Great decor and overall vibe, I really like the assortment of art on the walls, and the cool mirrors behind the bar. Plus their staff is great too---friendly, attentive, and able to help with recommendations if you're having a hard time choosing. I highly recommend checking out Tongue in Cheek for brunch, it is a must whenever I'm in the area! I hope to try them for dinner soon as well, I'm sure they'll be great at any meal. (-:“
“One of the best restaurants in the state, especially their thin crust pizza! They have impeccable ingredients, consistent quality, and a fair price!I miss dining in, the ambiance is cheery and comforting. Maybe they'll open dining in again?Cheers!“
“Wow. What a great experience. Our server Priscilla was amazing. She turned around what could have been a disappointing evening due to a longer than normal wait for our food by offering incredible service which is increasingly rare. The creme brulee was the life-changing. So good.“
“The spicy meatball is my favorite thing on the menu. My husband loves the calamari. We enjoy the minute chicken and the tots as well. The staff are always so friendly and professional. For a special treat, get a blue cheese stuffed olive martini. And when it comes to dessert, you better save room cause they're huge.“
“My husband I went on a date here tonight and it exceeded our small date expectations. We love trying locally owned places and the Philly is just wonderful, full of flavor and steaming hot. The fries are super good and crispy and the seasoned sour cream that comes with the wings is unreal.“
“Looking for a different place for family birthday get together, stumbled on North Pole, so glad we did. We were seated quickly ( group of 11), the waitress was phenomenal, all the food came out in one mass and all hot , kudos to the kitchen staff, already planning another get together at the Pole.Kid-friendliness: We had the granddaughters with and they gobbled up their food“
“When you walk in it feels welcoming like home that’s why it’s called karibu that means welcome in Swahili it’s so authentic and it’s like a mini Africa it brings memories from home but other than that the food is simply so delightful and authentic my experience was a 10/10 and I recommend the Philly the best what are you doing sitting at home go eat at this fully halal restaurant!“
“I enjoy the atmosphere whenever I visit. The waitresses are always so friendly. I was with a team of people (my job met there) last night (4/1/24), we had to flag a waitress down to take our order for food and drinks outside of the many appetizers my boss ordered. That's not usually the case though. Once someone came, she was wonderful. I don't come to this establishment too often anymore due to me no longer working in the area, but whenever it's an option, I am always a fan. The broasted chicken and au gratin potato are the absolute best. Thank me later.“
“Wasn't as impressed with a few things. $240 tab. The potatoes were the off-season puree with lump starch. Temperature was spot on. ? flavors were not for me. CHEF was doing his job, not impressed. However, what really peterbed me was the front desk manager. My client was of the elder, and the bathroom light would not come on. She asked to see, and the lady said, "It's been that way, (rudly), and to figure her way around it." She came out tripped, trying to find her way to the stall. This is a story I would not make up. Moreover, she was my client. I took to dinner over a 100k contract. Get your act together. Or don't charge that kind of price. Seriously.“
“Our first time there and it was a very pleasant experience. For this old couple, the acoustics are important and the space passed with flying colors. They have four small TV screens on the bar wall all showing the same and did not distract us even the slightest. Menu is limited to about fifteen items and the quality and presentation were excellent. Service was friendly, personal and quite prompt. My only small grievance is their 5% "kitchen staff fee." I so wish we could include service in the price and forget about tipping altogether. How about doing a survey with your customers on this topic?“
“Extremely recommended. The food and burgers are delicious, thick, and fresh. Lots of options to pick from, but you can also build your own with lots of condiment options. BRING YOUR KIDS. Their kids meals are great - and they get a Hershey Kisses Lollipop which is waaaay throwback! If you’re in Woodbury, this is where you get a burger. You can try other places, but this is where you’ll have the best food.“
“The food and fun atmosphere is wonderful. Tom Reid is a stand-up fixture here too! You will not be disappointed by the drink choices and the food is great.Kid-friendliness: Our hockey kids enjoyed all of the memorabilia and food.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level and bathrooms.“
“The only downside is that they're closing in June! Always delicious food and great service. Will be sad to see them close.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant access through the alley. Some spots are not available until the hardware store. Next door closes after 6:00 p.m.“
“The best word to describe this place is, nostalgic. A main stay in the community, family owned and one of a kind. This restaurant has been around for decades. When you go start with the broasted chicken. It is juicy and full of flavor. My friend and I split a 1/2 all white meat chicken dinner for only $16.95. I also had a bloody Mary that came with a very good meat stick. I love the old bar. Go on off hours if you don't want to wait. You will love this place!!“
“We went for dinner with friends and loved the view, atmosphere, and had great service. The drinks for most of us were also excellent. However we all felt that the food and presentation was a three star. So take that into account if you are reading this.I know they are going for the diner/dinette vibe but the shrimp cakes in a cardboard box isn't ideal. The French fries also were good but look like something you would get next door at CHS Field.I had the duck pasta with ricotta cheese and it was a major letdown for me. I should have ordered the burrito. However the menu isn't that large so your options are limited. The pork belly was tasty but had way too much spicy sauce all over it.Will I go back? Honestly it is unlikely. I hope they can improve the food and expand the menu because the location is beautiful and historic. And our server was prompt and took great care of us.“
“Great place, good food, weird vibe! The waitress or cook was off. We ordered an appetizer. Our friends ordered a different appetizer after us. Their appetizer arrived. We asked about ours. She told us it will be coming. Our food arrived and we asked again about the appetizer. She seemed confused. The appetizer never arrived and when she brought the bill she said something about never getting the appetizer. The whole exchange was weird. They should also take salads off the menu. That was not available when we were there either.“
“The hottest spot in Lake Elmo for excellent cocktails, a wide selection of beers, remarkble appetizers, and a diverse dinner menu! The place is busy and seems to have a lot of repeat business. Expect a wait during weekend peak dinner hours, but it is worth the wait. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly!“
“A group of 30 of us came in for brunch on Saint Patrick's Day (we did have reservations), and even though they were ridiculously busy, we found easy parking and were greeted with friendly smiles from the energetic staff. They patiently took our orders and didn't even flinch when we needed them separated. Every staff member was great! Our food came out promptly and tasted delicious, and we all left happy with full bellies, ready for the day. It's rare to find such genuine, good places nowadays, but this one of them for sure!“
“Highly recommend for catering! We had our groom's dinner at their event space (all inclusive price for 50 people). We also used them for our wedding dinner catering. Their food is amazing! Small locally owned business. They were great to work with from the food tasting experience, contract process, day of catering and even after the wedding to pickup our leftovers. the process and staff were great! Get the champagne chicken and wild rice!“
“So kind of an off story but stick with me, came here for my first outing 3 weeks postpartum with the fam and newborn…. Absolutely treated so special by the staff. Like superb. The food, as always…. Amazing. the customer service—— beyond exceptional!!! Thanks for making this mamma feel extra special on her day out.“
“Cannot say enough good things about our experience at Zambonis on 7th!! Stopped in Friday and camped out and ate and loved the entire experience! We attempted to give wild bills our business Saturday night, and after awful service we left and returned to zambonis! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are everything you would want from a local bar/restaurant! Ps...ask for Gus! He is hilarious!“
“This establishment is still branding themselves and their passion to do so shows both in their service as well as their product. They put a unique twist on every thing they serve. You may not always love it but you will never be disappointed. Their unique spin on classics like a bloody mary and margarita pizza will have you rethinking your favorite hot spot for these classics! Get in and get some before they become comfortable and they slide into mediocrity.“
“Absolutely wonderful !!!! Mallards has been my favorite place to dine since my first meal eaten there. The BARRAMUNDI RODRIGO a special feast but the WILD MUSHROOM PAPPARDELLE is certainly on top as well. The first time I saw the price of the LOBSTER ROLL I suffered sticker shock, UNTIL I TRIED ONE. WORTH EVERY PENNY & THEM SOME! Highly recommend!!!“
“The food was decent, but not spectacular. The service was good. The value was tough at $250 for three kids ordering off of the kids menu and two adults ordering only one appetizer each with two glasses of wine. Pazzaluna was a much better value with the same atmosphere and “
“The thing that I loved the most about this nice and cozy icecream shop is that the waffle cones are freshly made right there by them and they are wonderful. Icecream is good, staff is extremely friendly and I definitely wanna go back to try more flavors.Note number 1: For each scoop you get a free little bonus on the top.Note number 2: they don' t give samples so you cannot try the icecream before you buy it.“
“Leah was on the case with water and menus when we sat. Our server Melissa was attentive, fun and professional. I had the bleu smash burger thing. Very tasty. I've not seen their cut of fries before, a kind of shaving technique, really flavorful. The entertainment was the best part. Alex Gelking performed a cool mix of songs and styles. He played 'Fearless' for god's sake. Good evening all around. 5 stars.“
“I only had a beer when I was there but others tell me their food is really good. It's a nice bar. I like the nice server that I had. The bowlers looked like they were all having a good time. Looks like a great place for families and others to come have a good time. It was busy on a Thursday night in the winter. People want to get out and have some fun after staying home for so long.“
“Cool place! The food we saw around us looked good. Our burger was ok, except we would prefer it less lean, ( the only reason for the four star review, maybe that's not fair) they cooked it med rare as ordered, that was nice. However, being lean, not juicy, but that may suit some just fine. The chimichanga looked great! We'd definitely eat there again!“
“Tried Cloverleaf for the first time tonight with some friends - it did not disappoint! This is a great little bar to grab a drink, chat with friends, watch some sports, and grab a bite to eat! We tried the Chicken Melt, Cheeseburger, BLT, and Mozzarella Sticks. All were delish and I would come back again for them. Our server Sarah was super friendly and helpful. Very cool atmosphere where you don’t feel pressured to leave and can easily spend some time amongst friends.“
“Yes it's a bar, yes the ambiance is utilitarian, and yes it's expensive. Well this is a WING joint. Period. And it's the best wing joint in the entire metro, hands down: City Pages People's Choice multiple times! Why is it the best? Their wings are chef made, and they have 91 flavors. Yep you read that right. I actually counted: from "safety first" to "just a tiny kick," "it's getting hot in here, "yikes now that's hot," and "you've been warned."Well they used to have a hot license requirement to order the hottest ones, and for better or worse, they removed the requirement. I'd say if you can't eat an Habañero pepper raw, or don't even know how to pronounce said pepper, then do not order from the "Hot" list. You've been warned.Rest assured though if you aren't into hot and spicy, a full HALF of the list fall in the no heat to little heat categories. They are guaranteed to be the most flavorful wings you've ever tasted.I got the War Hammer tonight. It's a sweet chili with jerk. To me they're just about a 4 out of 10 in heat level, and they we rated "it's getting hot in here." But then I'm probably the wrong judge as I have dried Reaper powder in my pantry just for fun.The fried are delectable: crispy, well-seasoned, and the aeoli dipping sauce is wonderful. For beer lovers they have a ton of MN microbrew on tap.For soda lovers they have the local craft Minnesoda and Jones at the fountain! Yum. And for the straight laced they do have Diet Coke as well.If you're a wing nut this is a pilgrimage. 'Nuff said.“
“Really tasty food, served fresh & hot. The staff are on top with all responsibilities even when busy. Lot parking, free . Cold beer & a fine Margerita. Peaceful Blue collar clientele. No worries. Check it out , see & taste for yourself.“
“Went for lunch with a group of 6. Everyone enjoyed their food of burgers, tacos, salad and turkey plate. Atmosphere is great - casual but a couple steps up from the usual sport bar setting we have come to assume. Even had cloth napkins, but prices were very reasonable. Will be back for happy hour!!“
“Food was delicious. Best French dip I've ever had. I don't know what made their cheese curds so great but they were the best. Our server was Selina and she did a great job. Knew her menu and had tasted the whole menu. When she didn't know the answer she would go find out.Wheelchair accessibility: The ladies room was a challenge to get out of. I had my scooter and getting out of the stall was like playing bumper cars. Hit the stall, hit the diaper changing table, hit the sink.“
“I was craving a meatball sandwich and it was very good! I had it as a pick up order. It was ready when I got there and they even added extra sauce!Only negative I have would be if I ate there the music was really loud. Not a place to have real conversation at. Otherwise my dinner was great!“
“We came here after the St. Patrick's Day parade and were able to get seats after about a 45 minute wait. Given the circumstances this felt very reasonable, and we were well taken care of once we were putting in orders, etc. The table got a mix of beverages and almost everyone got the Parlour Burger. Everything tasted great and our server was super helpful and efficient. Overall, I can't ask for much better. 5 stars from me!“
“I worked in downtown St. Paul from 2000-2017. During that time I averaged eating here once per week. The food was always tasty, consistent, and reasonably priced. We made a trip back downtown last year specifically to stop here and bring some home. Not only was the food as great as always, but they remembered us despite our years' long absence. Can't wait to go back!“
“The burger was way overcooked but still delicious because of how much flavor was packed in the rest of it. The bartender waited until my mouth was full before asking how the food was. She didn't try to refill my drink until I asked for my check. She didn't say a word to me other than ask for my order, so the atmosphere was bland. Also, it was very expensive at over $25 for a burger, tots, and 1 alcoholic beverage.“
“What a great place! We had the fish n chips and Mac n cheese with rotisserie chicken and it was all very delicious! Not your typical Mac n cheese. Spacious place with a cozy feel. Heard the pancakes are huge and very very good! Will be back again!Parking: Spacious open parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Open floor plan and easy for wheelchairs to maneuver.“
“We stopped here on a whim after a flight and were very happy we stopped here. The food was plentiful and delicious and our server Leah was amazing and attentive. We have a 2 year old who can be a handful and our server was very kind and brought her some “
“Seated quickly upon arrival and it was busy at the time. Server was very attentive and friendly trying to make us smile. Ordered the fish and chips. Arrived hot but the fries (chips) were not the standard looking fries. They were more thinly sliced potato chips that were deep fried. If the chips were cut wider, they would have been awesome...not much substance to the chips. Their loaded tutorials Tots were amazing. Also ordered the Rhueben with chips. Sandwich was good but same comment for the fries. Their housemate dip was awesome. Overall, great experience. Very clean restaurant and guests seemed to be enjoying their visit.“
“This was a nice anniversary dinner for us. The menu had several options that we were torn between. Decided on the scallops and walleye. Both were FABULOUS! The drink menu was unique and I loved the one I ordered. It looks like the outdoor area will be fun in the warmer weather.“
“This is a great old-school neighborhood bar and grill. I was in here today for the Friday fish special and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly and the food portions were on the large side compared to the price. I always love coming into this place for a quick and tasty lunch. Great job!“
“We came to town for a funeral and suddenly needed a place to serve what I thought would be twenty. I called and they agreed to open up the other half of the restaurant. It turned out to be 40! The only bartender was also our waitress and she rocked it! On top of that the food was fantastic! Thanks for helping a family that came together make more memories!“
“This is our favorite place. We come multiple times a week. Good drinks, food never disappoints, and the staff are like an extended family to us. This is our Cheers. Cheese Curds are to die for. Hangover burger, garlic parm wings, fish and chips, sandwiches - it’s all good!“
“Woodbury Cafe is a pretty good eatery, conveniently located right off of 494. The food itself was great! I enjoyed an omelette and toast. It was flavorful and hot.The building itself is nice, clean, and wel kept . The service and atmosphere were pretty good. My reservations about this place:1) Passive aggressive signage (limit visits to 90 minutes and wait for entire party to sit down)2) Our server didn't stop by enough. She got us menus, got our orders, brought the orders, and dropped off the check. No more, no less.Parking: Normal, looked like it could get busy on weekendsWheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant, most likely“
“Fantastic little cafe in Newport, excellent food & service?First time visit will not be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ham Eggs Benedict, hollandaise sauce was lights out! My associate is disabled and they made quick & easy accommodations as well?I’ll be “
