“I’m not one to gate keep, so I’m going to scream from the rooftop that EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO HANG OUT AT MATT’S BASEMENT! There’s seriously no place like it. Not only are the boba tea and waffle options to die for, but Matt’s also holds game nights, offers old school game rentals, puts on $2 movie nights with the most delicious popcorn, and the owner and his girlfriend are hands down the coolest people I’ve ever met. Do yourself a favor and check out Matt’s basement next time you’re hanging out downtown Stillwater!“

“Surprisingly good food. The haddock and chips is among the best I've had in recent memory. The service is awful. Our waitron apologized profusely and repeatedly for not knowing anything about the menu or basically anything about the food ...in an almost empty restaurant, it took 15 to 20 minutes for her to appear at our table after I went to the bar to ask what was going on. I mainly felt sorry for her, she was clearly untrained. Ambience is your basic Wisconsin sports bar/tavern/warehouse space with a big bar in the middle. It's on the main road between Stillwater and Osceola, and has the best food between either, although the bar for cuisine is pretty low.“
